getting closer to Friday! 2 more days :) :)

Happy Thursday, my O-fam. I am in need of a coffee mainline today. :tea:
busy, busy busy!!
Faery-Wings, cleaning my own house, wrapping some gifts, then off to do a bit more shopping in town,, then home, then clean for a client and the :faint:

My Temptation- to not do any of it!

xoxoxo

Morning Chris and all- been a while since I dropped in here. Like everyone else, this month has been busy. I have had so much to do. I got my luggage and luggage scale for an upcoming trip. Today I have already balanced my bank account and cringed at upcoming payments due. I have house cleaning, exercise, shopping and paperwork and cardmaking to do- guess I better get cracking!

Morning everyone!

Up early and having my coffee and checking in with my cyber friends. My day is much like you, Chris and Laurie, and getting some cleaning done, running errands, and heading over to exercise...........the treadmill is calling my name.

Maybe get some gifts wrapped too. My daughter already got her Christmas gift..........tires for her car. Any ideas of a fun gift to wrap up to remind her of this...........maybe a hot wheel car! It snowed the other day and was a mess at rush hour and she called when she got to work just to say, 'Thanks again for the tires.' Bet she never thought tires would one day be on her Santa wish list!!

Have a great day all!
Donna

LOL Eva the poor guy can't win for loosing.....heee heee

Morning everyone.....cold here. Nothing new on the moms. Wishing it was Friday 5pm....

Donna- my son doesn't know it, but he is getting the gift of nearly paying off his car for him- I am guessing he will like that better than any gadget!

Good morning to you all! I have been trying to avoid the fact that I was getting sick. I tried to ignore the tickle in my throat, but knew this morning when I work there would be no voice... sure enough I am without a voice today and feeling quite icky. After making my morning rounds I am sure I will have to have a nap. :( Really bad timing to be ill, but happens to me every year. ARGH!

Chris and Laurie... sounds like you have busy days! Want a few of my tasks? iKid! ;)

Eva... that was too cute! That fella never had a chance. :D

Donna... I think the hot wheels is a great plan for a gift reminder, though sounds like she is already glad to have them.

Hello to everyone else and I hope you all have a fantastic day! I am feeling a tad dizzy and will go lie down now I think.

Morning, girlies!!! I've found myself to be a bit too quiet in here lately!! I'm trying to get a bunch of projects finished before December 13th, so I've been a bit busy!!
But I wanted to pop in and tell you HI!! And have a wonderful day today!!!

I have this overwhelming feeling that today is filled with HOPE!!! So if you are out of hope today, you can borrow some from me! I am completely filled with it!!!

love you all!!!

Morning all... Off to work again, didn't I just leave that place?? Worked a very long long day yesterday, but now back to my regular hours!! Hooray! Today I will get home early and be able to spend time getting my calendars finished and catching up here at the "O".

Chris / Laurie - hope you get it all done!! Wish I was all done too!! Not going to happen until the weekend though.

Eva - The video was cute... just like my MIL!! LOL You have my permission to watch movies all day! Wish I could join you!

Phylis - hope you hear some good news soon!!!

Fran - I wish it was Friday too! Hope you hear some good news soon too!!

Donna - Yes the hot wheels are a great idea! So nice that you bought her some piece of mind on the road for her gift!! Maybe you can think of another idea for her while you are on the treadmill? Have a great day!

Trista - Oh my not a good way to spend the day! Hope you feel better quickly!

Fran

Hi Sally  what a wonderful present for all of us, to fill us with hope today!! You are so thoughful!!

Popping in!!! I've been super busy the last two months getting used to work changes. As soon as I get used to one thing, another is thrown my way! I think things have settled down now!!!

& Holy Cow it's cold outside!!!!!! I forgot to refill the chicken's water yesterday afternoon, so I set two alarms early so I could get out there and refill them in time for them to not miss it... and turns out they had plenty of water!!! As soon as we realized that, my helper ran straight back inside and under the covers!!! Riley's been doing nothing but sleeping under blankets now that it's cold, and since the squirrels are pretty much hibernating... she doesn't have anything to bark at outside!

Today I have tons to get done... not looking forward to it. I realized after turning in a report with a client I haven't had any work with for a week, I forgot a few things in it and I'm not happy with myself. I really need to get used to having multiple clients who do things completely differently!!!

I hope to be back with personals... just realized the time & I have just enough time to make Jeff an omelet before he gets home! annnnddd it sounds like he just walked in. Opps.

Morning all, while it's still morning.

We had an 08:30 visit with the cardiologist's office to go over pre-op. Nothing unusual except for the bit about serious bruising in the groin area for the cathether. Dick and I are unlike in that I am thick skinned and he is thin skinned, both in skin quality and in temperament. (I often wonder if that association is true for most people....) Anyhow after his operation, the nurse(s) will be putting pressure on the very very small incision. The 5 hours post op don't sound like a whole lotta fun.

One thing that did give me a chuckle is the nurse saying he could shave his own groin if he wanted to or they would do it pre-op. Not quite sure I could visualize too many men giving themselves such a shave!

One scrappy thing I did this am also was recalibrate my monitor. I have complained in other forums that I could not see some of Anna's white products and tried the suggestions to no avail. I recalibrated this am and eh voila! I can now see the subtle whites!!! I'm so glad it's not the old eyes.

Have a great day all, getting chores done, presents wrapped, and taking time to cherish the moment!

Hi ladies I've been absent for a few days.... nothing's wrong I just decided to do the Days of December at Designer Digitals and its really taking a lot of time. I was pleasantly surprised a few minutes ago when I found out I won $5.00 from the November Challenges so I get to shop ... I probably will be awol til the new year... changing somethings next year.... need to finish some things this year. Not sure which direction I'm headed but I know I will get there.

Maureen I can't picture many men doing that shave themselves either not sure they'd want somene else doing it for them either. Hope the operation and recovery go smooth.

I'll keep all of you in my thoughts the rest of December even if I am awol!

well, I got my bible time and walking in, and then, well I discovered I can order books for my kindle app through the public library-- woo hoo- now I can try before I buy! So I am thinking the trip to town will wait and I will enjoy a day at home!

Hi all! I am popping in, now too. I swear, December gets crazier and crazier every year without me trying. In fact, even with trying to keep it not crazy. And I don't consider myself bad at saying no...there's just SO much to say no to at this time of year. All of a sudden, next week will be filled with baking and stuff like that...that I wasn't intending on doing. People should really stick to my plans :) and I like to make them well in advance lol. Anyway, just to say that I am tired already and there is no time to slow down...I do love that hope you're handing out, though, Sally - what a wonderful way to put a smile on my face!

I just picked up an advent activity for my kids, too. It involves counting our blessings each day and then making a sacrifice for them...such as 25cents for every flush toilet you have or a dime for every pair of jeans. At the end of the season, you use the money to help the poor in whatever way you choose. It sounds like a good lesson. Maybe we'll have to do it at Easter. I keep thinking that our celebrations of Jesus' birth and death are a little lopsided in their importance but that's another thread.

Anyway, hope you all are having a wonderful day!

Hi everybody!!

Didn't read everything, I'm to tired. Off to bed in a minute.

I loved the little movie LOL
And Laurie, that's an awesome gift, nearly paying off the car! I'm sure he will like that :-)

Well, I'm off to bed. Hoping for a goodnight sleep. Every night I.mke comes to my bed with a question. Last nicht, 3.42am, she came and asked me "mommy, sinterklaas (like santa, but the dutch version, he gives presents around dec. 5th, leaves again the next day) is allready back in spain right?"
Me: "what?? Yes he is...go back to bed!!"
And 5 minutes later I was wide awake.
So, hoping she won't come with a question this night LOL

Have a nice day, evening!
