HelllllOooo!
How are the O-zies this morning?
I am a little tired and a little brain-foggy-scattered but not terribly bad. Yesterday was one of those days with best laid plans going *** over tea kettle.
I had just finished my yoga session (stress-release was the focus, hehehe), when I saw my BFF had sent me a text--she had gotten THE call from her mom's hospice nurse. BFF was fine. It had been a long time coming, since her mom had been in hospice since the end of June. But still, she needed to do all of the arrangements and asked if I would meet her at the funeral home. She took care of all of that, and then we went to clean out her mom's room. I teased her that she must have broken a speed record. She got the call at 5.15 am and by 1.30 pm, everything was completed. Arrangements are set for tomorrow, the outfit picked out, the room emptied, and the financial paperwork/final payment to the center have been submitted.
I was glad I could be there for her. We had a few laughs and a few tears. But more a sense of relief. She isn't having a wake/service. Just she and her DH are meeting at the cemetery for interment in the vault since she doesn't have any other family. Her kids have no love lost for her mom, she wasn't very nice to them (or to my BFF).
Needless to say, everything I had planned for yesterday is getting pushed to today. Today was supposed to be Jaida's surgery, but we still haven't gotten the ball rolling on scheduling the new one. Gary and I need to call this morning. The next few days are going to be a little chaotic but what is a little more chaos? I laugh in the face of chaos!

I would love to catch up on some of the challenges. I really wanted to do the ATC yesterday, but maybe today? (doubtful!)
I have a better chance of doing Vicky's challenge. She made it uncomplicated, which I like and need! LOL:
