Have I ever asked Time to just slow down a bot so I can catch up? I have? Lots of times?? I guess I have and I am asking that again. heh.

So freaked out about not getting my gift baskets made in time. Or my IL's Photo Book. Time is truly speeding up so fast. Please make it stop!

Yesterday I picked up Merlin and Bunny's pawprints from the vet. Cait originally wanted Bunny's to go on the shelf with the other pawprints. But then she decided that she belonged up in her room. I am glad. That is where I thought she belonged too, but would never make that decision for Cait.
I was able to scrap one more page for the IL's Italy book, so 11 down...9 more to go.

I also did the Advent Day 2 avi challenge-- look, I am sparkly and purple

Today I have to call my insurance co and fight with them to pay blood work bills. It is so stupid. I also have to dig up my Rx for my mammo and ultrasound for next Tuesday. I know I am fine, but that is still niggling at the back of my mind. This will be the first one post-surgery.
Then I have to figure out how I am paying bills that are due before Social Security Day which is a week away. Then it is off to work, and then collapse. hahah!

That is what I did after dinner last night too. We watched the Mid-season Finale of the Walking Dead and I won't say anything except OMG!!!!!

Yup, it is 6.20 am, and I am already wiped out from my day and I haven't even *done* anything yet. :hurt:

Temptation on Thursday-
Go somewhere warm, sandy and sunny with a pitcher of pina coladas by my side.

Nancy- I know, it was so cold and dreary yesterday. But-- at least it was not :smow:
Sorry for that Devils loss and the injuries. But yay for getting you cards done. Mine came in from Shutterfly but I haven't even opened that package yet.

Phyllis- any luck with SS? What a freaking mess of it all. Love your line about "offensive charm" haha!I don't tolerate rude either. I am not rude, and there is absolutely NO need for it.
Thank you for the link to the song, I added it to my amazon mp3 cart but I had no idea how to the the free code to work, so I gave up- but will try again today.
I hope you find out soon what you are doing for Christmas dinner. I would be happy to come and clean for you-- and you could come and clean for me. It's always easier to clean someone else's house b/c you don't need to find somewhere to put all that crap. :rofl:

Good to hear that you got the ordered placed- and my fingers are crossed that it doesn't get cancelled.

Jean- this time of year seems to get more hectic and less joyful- I loved it when my kids were little but now it seems like one big chore.
Oh well, I am sure I will get into the spirit someday (hopefully soon!)

Chris, i know what you mean about time speeding by. i feel like November lasted about 2 hours. hopefully January and February will seem the same. hope you get all your stuff done. at least you got to collapse and watch some tv. i caught up on "Sleepy Hollow" last eve, and it was great, too! the guy who plays Ichabod Crane, in addition to being total eye candy, he always makes me laugh. good luck with your insurance fight. i think all these " institutions" count on being able to wear you down. in my case with damned Social Security, they always win. i have to haul my a&& to an office. no choice. no matter how insane they are, you have to toe the government line.

Jean, i laughed out loud at your comment about me going up in smoke. honestly, that's absolutely me. it COULD happen!

good morning - the sun is shining. It is cold but for me I love my sun. The Penguin Robert Bortuzzo was suspended 2 games for his hit on my NJ Devils Jaromir Jagr. It cracks me up when you hear the broadcast from the Penguins side vs the broadcast from the Devils side. You would think they are watching two different games. Tonight my team plays the Toronto Maple Leafs. Not sure which players will play as I have a lot of my veteran injured. I am going to walk and I can't wait. And then laundry and printing. Yesterday I did get my calendar to Staples and it should be ready on Friday. I am excited to see how it turns out.

Chris good luck with the insurance. Love the new avitar!

Laurie have fun today with house work and holiday plans.

Morning ladies... it warmed up a bit last night so I shouldn't have to thaw the hummingbird feeder today, sounds like we will be in for some :rain: for the next few days! I got my laps in yesterday , the pool was almost deserted so that was nice. I did not have to share my lane with anyone :becky:

Chris - I feel the same way about the time flying by and I still have 10 pages left to do on my calendar YIKES!! Sorry you have to deal with health care AGAIN!! Hopefully they do not give you the run around! Hope everyone is feeling better and not so weepy at your house! :hug:

Phylis - We rarely get ice storms here, heck we rarely get snow here, perhaps a couple of times a winter the snow will fall, but usually it is late December and it is usually very wet heavy snow. This bit of snow we got last week was very rare and its almost gone already, it was dry fluffy snow too which is unheard of. Once in a while we will get freezing rain, but I can't remember the last time we had that. Usually we have a ton of rain all winter.

Nancy - Isn't it amazing that two broadcasts of a hockey game can be so totally different! We can't stand listening to the Montreal Canadians broadcaster it is like there isn't even another team on the ice when they play YUCK!! I bet your calendars turn out awesome, Staples does a good job with them! Enjoy your walk today!!

Yesterday I finally went for my yearly exam and so far everything looks good! I love my Doctor, she is easy to talk to and we always have lots of laughs during my exam. So now I have to pick a morning to fast and get the blood work all done. Hopefully I can get some scrapping done today, I have not made one layout for this month, I need some MOJO!!
