The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
two days left of 2010.... that seems so weird, doesn't it?
I was really moody yesterday. It might be end of the year, post holiday blues, mixed in with a bit of PMS. I was all over the place yesterday. melancholy, irritable, resigned, somewhat happy, near tears, missing my kids, bitter.... then cycled through it all over again.
i did two LO's yesterday for upcoming challenges :tape: and both of them had no photos but lots of *journaling.*Eep! Scrap therapy LOL
That is so unlike me.......

I hope today is a bit better, more even keeled. Still waking up with coffee, so its too early to tell.... but I hope scrap therapy or scrap for fun is onthe list for me today.

ToT:
to stay in my pj's and scrap. or go back to bed with The Girl w/ the Dragon tattoo that i got for C-mas from my BFF!

Coffee and personals!

hahahha! I would have gone grocery shopping for all of you if I could. Trudy- I would have loved the company. That reminds me of when I was in college. My roomies and I lived three houses away from Weis. We would go there, sometimes a bit tipsy, and usually cause a stir....

ME- how long are your parents staying with you? They sound so awesome! They must be so excited about the new baby too.
No plans for NYE for us. I have hated NYE since I was a kid- don't know why.....
Your night sounds a lot like what mine will be :D

Trudy- yay for seeing those g-kids soon!!!

meg- Angry Birds? Never heard of it, but you must be bored! So excited for your new opening- I have a LO to post with Rainy daydreams. I also have to figure out what I did wrong- I tried to put my new blinkie in my sig but I saved it wrong.....

laurie- whew- glad your tummy is better! Hope the weather stays warm enough to now be too much trouble.

Wine?? Did you say wine?? Trudy, YMG makes his own wine???? That is soooo cool!
Sorry you didn't get to scrap- but at least you seemed to have a nice time w/ YMG. Some days I just wish mine would leave the house- even for 15 mins!! How awful that sounds. I love him *dearly* but he is always home.
I make him home made Scottish shortbreads every year for C-mas. I somehow managed to do them this year while he was in the house b/c every day he thought he was going to go out a bit, he was sick and stayed in. I had to hide the stuff in my closet to cool hahah!

have a great day everyone!

LOL CHRIS!!!! Hiding shortbread in the closet?!?!?!?! I totally know what you mean.

Trudy - I would love to come up there and bottle wine!!! But I don't think I could handle the traveling or get a passport in time :(

So we're headed home this morning. Leaving in 50 min, mind you jeff's still asleep and we haven't packed in the least.
I thought I was going to have a major stomach attack when we went to bed. I tried like a teeny tiny drop of my grandma's raisin sauce. Apparently I'm so sensitive to grapes, a drop is all it takes to make me throw up!!! Sorry for the grossness. I just hope all the trouble is over, that I won't get sick on the way home.
I better turn on the light and wake up Jeff!!!

morning all - I have scrapped some CT stuff and got my 2 mi walk in- house is a mess and I need to tackle that before dh gets home- it is a rainy day here- so I will have to make my own sunshine!!

Chris- have a wonderful day

Meg- safe and sickness free travels

Good morning all. Even though all my daycare kids are on winter break, I have still kept busy with my own four kids home from school. The house is a mess, guess I need to get on that today. But it has been raining for days, and I just can't seem to get myself motivated.

LaurieW - Hope you have better motivation for cleaning than I do today.

Meg - Hope the drive is safe and uneventful.

Chris - Hiding shortbread in the closet. That is just too funny.

Morning lovely O's ... I slept in horray!! Haven't done that in a while, it was so nice and cosy in my bed I could have stayed there all day! but the housework is not going to get done that way is it? I did manage to get one layout done last night for the copycat challenge, but sadly I don't think I will be able to do the rest of the challenges so no points for me this month :pout:

Chirs - Sorry you were feeling so out of sorts yesterday, why do women always have to suffer with emotional issues, why can't we just have normal hormones?? :noidea:. My hubby has been making wine for years and he makes the worlds greatest wines, as far as I am concerned, so bottling is done quite often around here, he also makes it for his Mom and Dad so we split the cost with them. Needless to say we go through a lot of it as he loves his reds and find the whites don't give me the hot flashes like red does so each night we have a glass after work and a glass with supper. Yikes hope you all don't think we are a couple of wineos? Too funny about hiding the shorbread in the closet to cool, my DH would find it anyway, he would follow the wonderful smell!

Meg - Sorry that your tummy is giving you grief!! You really should get a passport one day and travel up North this way!! It is a beautiful big country and we are really very nice neighbours :canada:

Laurie - Wow good for you for doing your treadmill time! I will try to send some sunshine to you, it is really unusual that we are having sun, its usually such a rainy time of year for us, but we won't complain!!
Good luck getting the housework done, it is my goal today also.

Michele - I know what its like to be in the blahs with the rain, it can really change your mood, but hope that you can get motivated to do what you need to do today! I hope the sun comes out for you soon!

Nana Linda - Yooo Hooo, where are you??? Are you still very sick sweetie?? I hope not, I am thinking of you all time and hope that you are feeling so much better!!

Trudy- your wine sounds wonderful- and thank you for sending the sun- it is shining brightly now right in my kitchen where I have been working to move some of Christmas out- too painful to move it all at once- so many memories!

We made it home safe about an hour and a half ago :)

I was full of anxiety part of this entire trip because before we left I had forgotten to read thru the stack of paperwork citibank sent me about my student loan repayments that start this week. Turns out the stack of paperwork was just to try and get me to sign up for more citibank crap.

So, to top off my student loan payments, Jeff got a ticket this year, so our car insurance is going up $50/mo. I'm going to call the credit union we have our car loan with and find out what our minimum insurance requirements are (we have 300/100 right now) and see if they can get us a better quote. I've had too many problems with AAA this year, I'm ready for a change.

I have a lot to do -- I need to finish off a mini-kit to give as a freebie (ish) tomorrow for my Grand Re-Opening, send it to my wonderful CT ladies, and head to bev mo for a bottle of stone's ginger wine, write up blog posts, stay alive...

Instead, I'm going to sit here and watch Romancing the Stone. Lol, every time I watch this I pick up on more stuff. Like in the beginning when her publisher is trying to convince her to not go to Columbia, she says "Sure your books sell really well down there..." hahaha, which is super funny when you get to the drug cartel part.

Hi ladies!!!!

Well...I have been mostly doing nothing but laying around the house this week!! We did venture out one day....we went to the movies (Little Fockers....IT SUCKED!!!!!!!) and out to eat....went shopping for a bit too...but I don't think I overdid it! I am feeling better...but I am really holding my breathe...because that seems to be how this crud has gone for a month now!!! But I really am hoping the week off is helping me!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!!!!!!!

I miss scrapping, I miss being here and playing!!!! Hopefully I will be back to full swing soon!!!!!

So who has big plans for the new year?? Obviously NOT ME!!!!! I will be ringing in my new year from my bed!!!! HAHAHA!!! Sick or not..that is pretty normal for me though!!! I AM AN OLD NANA..what do you expect??

So today I have just been taking down Christmas decorations....I have been moving at a very slow pace too...Mike was here to help me too!! YAY!!! He has been off all week too....and we are headed for 50 degrees by Saturday in the weather...so I am thinking things are LOOKING UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOT!!!!

It was 61 degrees here in Iowa today! All of the snow melted and left the green grass! It was delightful!

Chris, I hope that today was a better day. And wouldn't we have fun if all of the O girls could go shopping together. Trudy would need to bring the wine!

Laurie, you are doing so well with your walking! You are an inspiration.

Meg hope that you were able to get all of your stuff done for tomorrow!

And Nana Linda, glad that you are starting to feel better. Now, don't overdo...because we need you here.

Now, I'm going to go do some scrapping!!!
