The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Good morning- I just realized right now- that I had the wrong day up there in yesterday's Ooo's. I wasn't able to make it back yesterday, so I don't know if any of you called me on it yet. But doh! She did it again!

Life seriously needs to slow down a bit, or a lot- not sure which. Too much to do!

Are you all familiar with "The Secret"? I have proof it works. Everyone is asking me what I want to C-mas. All I really need is "time." So guess what I have been getting? Lots of time off from working/cleaning. Gary told my MIL I was "calling in sick" today when we saw them at the wake. Then yesterday, right before I was ready to head out, my client called me that I didn't need to come today. Last month was bad b/c I needed so much time off/holidays etc. And now this.... bummer.....
It is ok- I used the day to keep working on F-W's orders (Clara, the coal is awesome!! Just wait til you see it!!)
Today I am going to start my baking. I guess it works out in the end, sanity-wise.... but not so good money-wise.
Eh, what are you going to do? Roll with it.... the only option.

I have to go wake Caitlyn- but today I am going to promise to be back for personals.

Linda W-- woo hoo on the albums- I just did the one this year for Chuck and Kathy. It is going to be a tear-jerker this year for sure. Bet it feels awesome to have them done.;)

Of course we'd support you- Savannah is like our O-Niece LOL we love her!
And see-- this is just more support for your definition of "family" I love that- Wouldn't it be nice for someone to make that into word art? *wink wink nudge nudge*

Hi Kelly! Oh this year is going to be a blast for Nico! I loved being able to see Christmas from my kids' eyes.
First hard frost for us last night too.Had to scrape the windows of that car. Cait saw snow flurries, but I didn't (thank goodness or I'd have freaked- so not ready for snow) It is *pouring* here today, if it were snow.... *shudders* Don't even want to think about it!!!

Jaime- where do you live? I feel like I know, but can't remember off the top of my head. I am going C-mas shopping tomorrow too- w/ my brother, as long as he is up for it and Kathy is up for letting him go too. We have an annual C-mas shopping trip, dinner and C-mas movie. I thought we were going to have to cancel this year due to his MIL's passing, but he seemed up for it the other day. I have very little in ideas for my kids too. Every year it gets harder.
Kidney stones- ouch (from what I have heard) but yes, better than some of the alternatives.

Leslie- Thank you - it was my SIL's mom- I mis-typed that a few days ago. Woot-- girl, that is awesome for you to do the marathon! My poor fur-baby is so fat too- she is some crazy mutt mix, but has a big old round belly and skinny little legs. We thought we wewre going to lose her to cancer three years ago, and were given a few months left. So we figured we would make her happy and comfortable (and fat....). Now she is too old to go for long walks, has really bad arthritis. And same goes her mom!
Have fun!!!

Clara- listen to you -- singing and cheery! You are too funny - just go do your classes- get 'em over with, cross them off the list!
I am glad that are able to talk frankly with your neighbors. It is a hard situation, and even harder not to get clouded by emotions.
LOL about having to ring the neighbor's doorbell- but yay for the Starbucks GC!

Soco- sorry that I missed the info on your DD. How is she today? Each day a bit better, I hope. And you too!! (((((hugs and chicken soup)))))

Better get my butt off this chair...

xoxoxoxo!!!

I feel completely brain dead this morning. We had a rough evening last night that just didn't want to seem to quit. First, I got a call from my mom who is making a decision that the family thinks isn't in her best interest and she needs me to sign off on some paperwork to allow it to happen. I'm so torn because I agree with everyone else, but she is a grown woman and she really believes this is what is right for her so I don't feel like it is my place to stop her. Then of course I have to deal with the backlash from everyone else.

Then I got a call from my neighbor saying she needed to take her husband back to the ER because he wasn't going to be able to hold out until Friday when they had his kidney stone surgery scheduled. So I had to leave work early so I could pick up all of the kids (hers and mine) and then entertain a 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 year old all evening! They're all good kids, it's just exhausting to try and keep up with them all. Especially since they're all at different levels and need different things.

To top off my night, about 20 minutes before the kids went home, we discovered we had a natural gas leak (in the pipe outside our house). Of course, I'm panicked and ready to pack the kids up and get the heck outta there just in case the house blows up. Especially since it took the gas company like 30 minutes to show up. Long story short - the guy doesn't understand why it was leaking, but he was able to get it to stop. However, he didn't feel comfortable with the situation so he was going to put in an order to have them dig up part of our yard and shut off the gas on the main pipeline into our house. Well that certainly didn't ease my fears a whole lot. FYI - we don't use gas in our house so we don't care if they shut it off.

I just hope today doesn't throw us any curve balls. I didn't get to have my in-home date night with my hubby last night so maybe we'll get the chance tonight. We got The Ugly Truth from Netflix yesterday and I'm dying to watch it! :)

Chris - I'm in Lexington, KY. Enjoy your free time today! Sometimes a little R&R goes a long way!

Morning girlies!! (10 more minutes of morning here!! LOL!!) I'm of course, running with my head cut off but trying to keep a wonderful attitude about it all!! My biggest hurdle this time of year is to actually "care" about the kids doing school...I get soo involved with holiday preparations (which i adore!!!) that i forget that I need to be prodding them to actually do their school!! Like this morning, for example: the other day when Linda and Ona were telling their scary baby stories, I went back to my Lillian's site (lillianclar.com - once again, shameless plugging) and cried through all of the pictures. So this morning when I was laying in bed, I heard her in the kitchen and thought of her freezing on a cooling blanket (her outside body temp was 92 for three days to keep her brain from seizing right after she was born 7.5 yrs ago...long story made short! LOL!!) holding little pieces of gauze! I love that pic...but it made me call her into my room and snuggle with her for a while. Then I said, you were so cute as a baby...she said, let's look at my book!! So that started us looking at her baby scrapbook. Then Quentin comes in and gets into bed with us and asks to look at his book next!! Then Emma came in and we looked at her book next!! So an hour later, we are all still in bed and I'm sitting there just reveling in the fact that my children are soo wonderful and that I have scrapbooked!! (I also thought, boy I need to get on these books!! there are a lot more baby pics I can scrap of my middle two!!)

funny aside, cora slept through all of that...she is soooo my child!! :) we'll have to look at her book later today after all of my errands!! :)

We are off to Kohls, maybe an antique store or two, and the grocery store. Then this afternoon, we are heading on over to my mom's to take her Christmas pic with the kids and decorate her tree!! should be way fun!!

Chris, I'm glad you are getting some peace!! wooooot!! Keep it up, babe!! love ya....hope your shopping trip works out! I know how much you love that time!!

Jamie, ohhhh Hugs, babe!! sorry you are going through it!! Sometimes I wonder if we have to go through everything at once to make things easier later when it's all good!! :) We're here for ya!!

And I know everyone else is doing great today!! Because the weekend starts tomorrow...and you know what that means???? Mr Gorgeous is HOME!!! *whew* i'm needing that!! can you tell!???

love you all!!!!

Ahhh!! Okay!

Most of my real work is all caught up except for I need to blog a few sessions later.
I thought I was getting sick 2 nights ago since I woke in the middle of the night coughing, but I seem to be fine now.
I need to get lost in the gallery here to get more inspiration, but I did manage to scrap 3 pages last night for the new challenges here.. YAY for new challenges!!!
I don't know what I'm doing tonight, but I may go visit my grandma for a bit :D

I just feel like time is moving too fast right now!! How is it already nearly Friday? How is it already December?

Okay, off to the gallery now, then work blog update, then home & hopefully a relaxing evening! (I should clean some too...maybe this weekend).

OMIGOSH, Chris, I totally forgot to place an order with you!!! GRRR! I'll run over to the site in a few minutes and place one. One of the reasons I keep forgetting is that I still don't have full use of my nose, or my sniffer is on the fritz again. Not sure what's going on, but ever since I was sick I've had lingering sinus issues.

I know. I need to go to the doctor. I will. Grrr. I'll call tomorrow.

Well, I should have done this earlier, because now that the girls are home, Genny "want to read dis book, I want to read dis book!" and Atha wants me to set her up on Computer Cool School.

Sigh, family!

Hi ladies!! Get this...I'm popping in real quick. I know...amazing. LOL!! I need to do another class or two for work and I hate them. So boring but I only have 3 left. Whoohoo!

Hey gals!!

Chris - I guess it's true what they say - be careful what you wish for... I've been in that boat before. It's a bit bittersweet. Oh, and only a half-marathon at this point - I'm not crazy... yet. And I just made my Faery-Wings order with you tonight.

Speaking of ordering, I have done all my Christmas shopping for all but the fur babies. I still have to get both pups toothbrushes and Fat Boy his backpack for our walks. I think this is the first time I have been so organized since, well, ever....

Jaime - I'm close to your neck of the woods - I'm just north of Cincinnati. I'm so sorry about your scare last night - hopefully this is a much quieter night.

Sally - so glad to hear your Mr. Gorgeous is coming home for the weekend. I'm happy to have my DH leave for a night because he's here ALL the time, but I imagine I would feel differently if I were in your shoes...

Hope everyone had a good rest of the day!!
