CHEERY O
Yippeeeee, it is getting closer to the big day! And slowly, things are pulling together and I think all will be ready by Saturday. Today is grocery shopping and the liquor store. Cleaning for one client and then relax.

yesterday I cleaned until lunchtime, and then scrapped a bit. I have to show off my little one:
this-elf.jpg

Is he not the cutest??? In case you hadn't heard me the gazillion times before, i really adore that baby.

I already know what I am doing for his first b-day in May. All of these pages I am scrapping of him...... photo book of his first year! Do you think it is close to being done/filled? LOL

hugs to all of you today, and all of my good thoughts that your day is easy, and filled with fun and love!

Oh!!! I forgot to brag a bit-- Scott came home yesterday with an award pencil from his Bio teacher. he got the highest grade out of all of her classes on a lab/test. he got a 100! I know that might be all that exciting, but that poor kid struggled so much when he was really sick and he still has cognitive issues from the Lyme. So a 100 for him is like a 1000 for anyone else. (slight exaggeration, but YKWIM!). I am just so proud of him.

Temptation of Thursday:
Darn it, I just want to book a trip to Disney for the family. Not going to happen for a long time, but there are days I want to say screw it and just throw it on the credit card..... :)

Eva-- oh my, I looove those LO's! I should try to find some old pics of me and my BIG hair in the 80's. I was a metal head
You should make a map of where you hid things. Last year, Scott hid some snack cake thingy from Caitlyn. Months later, i was cleaning the knick-knack stuff on top of my kitchen cabinets. Inside my Mickey Mouse teakettle was that snack cake. Ick!! LOL

Donna-- did you survive your errands? "all is calm" Good mantra! One good thing about living out inthe boonies is that its hard for me to just run out and do errands. My mom is 5 moinutes away from everything, and everytime I have tried to call her this past week, she has been out and about. That is exhausting!

Laurie- what a great vaca you have had. I can't wait for you to get back and scrap those pics!

Phyllis do you do the Feast of the Seven Fishes? My grandma used to do that, but my family never did. My brother has been interested in starting up that tradition again, but his very Irish wife doesn't seem to keen on it.
I always think the same think about the Solstice- every day we get a teeny bit more sun! I try to focus on that while I am swearing at all of the ice and snow.;)

Eva, I love the way you think!!

Maureen- i saw your thread about Dick's stress test, wa-hooo!!! That is a good Christmas present.
Thanks for letting me know about the recovery for you. Most people I know in recovery feel as you do, in the point that if your lessons can help someone else pull out of it. For me, I would be too much of a hypocrite if I tried to help someone out of an eating disorder. My brain is still "disordered" and there a part in me that can;t (won't) give it up. I try to recognize it as such and keep it down as best as I can. Better that I am aware of my mind set and be realistic than not, I guess....
At any rate.
Did you find out what your dinner plans are? You menu sounds delish!!!!

Nana-- your parents do rock!!!! Hope that the kids were good for you the rest of the day.

Hi Trudy!!

Clara- it seems so wrong to be on vacation and have all of the dental work goin gon. But it makes sense to see the guy you know and trust. I got your card yesterday. You are look so wonderful but my fav picture was Addie Paddie in her dance costume The look on her face is priceless.
I saw the pics of Vince and Andrea on her FB page. They choke me up, every time. But I didn't know that it was a surprise to her, I can't imagine how she felt! And the kids.... *happy sigh* What a great C-mas present for them.

Sandra-- *fingers crossed that all of your work gets done quickly*

xoxo!

My plan for today ..... no ... I'll just see what happen!

If the Mayans were right - a year from now the world no longer exist :D

Morning all..

Today, laundry is in the washer, I'm walking to the library to return books when I get off here, and then it's the final grocery shopping for tomorrow night's dinner. I usually plan to put food outside this time of year when the fridge is overflowing but not this week! We had the windows open and the fan on last night. grrr.. so it's a last minute venture out for shrimp and then the cheese and spinach for lasagna rollups (meatless) for vegetarian daughter and as sides for the rest of us. She has become much more selective (picky...) about where her fish is caught, raised, etc etc and I don't need that tomorrow. The porchetta is mellowing nicely and I'll cook it later today. If I can get a frozen cheesecake, that will thaw nicely in time.

Dinner tomorrow 5pm. We're a nice number of 8, since my daughter has to work tomorrw and all weekend. We may see her today. Ya never know. ;)

Have a good day all!

Chris - that grade is f'in A good! Give him a hug for me.

Okay not sure how much more negative I can take! My step daughter pulled me aside yesterday and said she was 6 weeks pregnant and that she is spotting and cramping. She called her boyfriend and he came to take her to emergency while we watched Quentin. Needless to say it was a shock to hear she was pregnant and now she's having difficulties.....I hardly got any sleep waiting for news.....she got home about 2am. Said the baby is fine and they told her bed rest till the cramping stopped and drink plenty of fluids.

Not sure how I feel about all this. Lots of bad history with her and kids....a story for another day.

Need to get ready for work, I have Monday off, so maybe I can just block everything out and scrap. I miss it!

My KIDS ROCKED YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They were all so good!!!! We made model clay FLIES....they were so cute, wings, antenna and all!!!!

Jaiden went to spend the night with her Mom last night....and poor Jesse woke up at 3:30 throwing up and diarrhea...he is so pale!!! I am hoping the other kids don't get it and then be sick on Christmas!!!!

Chris..............OMG that is soooooooooooooooooooooooo cute!!!!! He is stinkin adorably cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fran - Oh dear... just what you need, more stress in your life right now. But glad things are ok with the baby and hope mom does as she is told and gets the rest!! I miss scrapping too!! just no time for it right now, but wait til after Christmas...watch out!

Maureen - So happy that your hubby got good test results, a wonderful early Christmas gift for both of you!! Wish I was coming to your house for dinner!!

Linda - Your kids are soooo cute!! Love your videos, you must just be bursting with Nana pride!! Too bad that Jesse is so sick!! Hope no one else comes down with the flu! It sure is bad this time of year! My grandson is finally over his pneumonia and have flown out to the mainland last night. Waiting to here that they have arrived safely.

To everyone else  hi and hope you all have a wonderful day!!
