helllOOoO my lOvley O-Fam!! How are you all this Thursday? Did ya see the date? We are now officially in the "20's". Christmas is closing in! And par for the course, my kids are getting sick. Scott stayed home yesterday from a bad cold, Caitlyn's glands have popped up big time today. She doesn't have a fever, so I am making her take gobs of garlic pills and *fingers crossed* that it knocks it out of her.

I don't have time for sick kids! :juggle: hahahahah!!

I am off to a new client today, one of her DD's is friend's with Cait. I have no idea of what I am getting into. She has 12 kids (almost if not all are adopted-- :high5: ) but she says she doesn't have a lot of clutter. We shall see!!

Other than that, I am slowly working on getting my house cleaned, almost done wrapping, one more batch of cookies to make, date set for making reindeer food. Its all coming together!!!!

On a heart-warming note, do any of you see this? Ann Curry starts viral movement for 26 Acts of Kindness | My BFF shared this on her FB page, and I thought it was a very special idea.

Hugs and love to all!!!

Hi Linda S! I saw on FB that all of Iowa is under a blizzard warning? Ack!!!! Be safe, stay off of the roads and stay warm!!!!!! (and please keep the snow away from NJ, just sayin' :D)

Santa Laurie- how is your friend's DH doing? Hope that the meds get any infection under control quickly. *fingers crossed for your other friend's DH's job*

Nancy- we had a bit of sun here too, esp in the afternoon as inn comes in my window and blinds me while sitting at my desk. But I'll take it! More rain in NJ tomorrow though. :(

Terry- I;d ask you to send that heat here, but i think Linda S is going to need it more than me. Hope you had a great afternoon and good luck with that long day today.

Nana- awwwww, I bet that winter concert was fab to see!!!!!! Your day sounds very much like mine-- running crazy, in circles, forgetting your head and leaking brain cells. LOL
Hope you got all of your wrapping done. I started the teeniest bit of my Jan Challenge prep yesterday but my mojo is GONE!!!! I have not scrapped in ages and I just can't seem to get anything together.... :(

Eva- that dream was too funny!!!!

Sally- my parents got married on the longest day- June 21 and my dad never lets my mom forget it hahahah!! Happy Anniversary!!!!!

Trudy-
You must be so tired of him being sick also!
You have NO idea hahhahahahhaaaaa!!!!!!
Hope you didn;t get washed away in the rain!

Good morning! I had one of those nights! Woke up at 3AM when the front came through. Tossed and turned. Tossed and turned. Finally decided to get up at 4:30. Wasn't up long enough to get hot coffee made and the electricity went out! Used my phone flashlight o find our hurricane supplies-- have a lantern in there. At least we have a little light.

Can't work without electricity. Think I'll wrap the last couple of gifts. Hope the electricity comes on soon. I have to shower up and head out of town on business. Have a late night meeting and will head home tomorrow afternoon.

Have a wonderful day.

lOve the O!
Morning O fam- have to get my workout in, but have already ironed all my shirts (PHYLIS!) while listening to a webinar on online crafting business. I have to make a wedding card for the wedding reception I will be attending later today. Our friend is doing okay. My co-workers husband still has his job. Another prayer request-for a grandmother who currently has temporary custody of her grandkids. She has had them for the last three years due to neglect and other issues. The kids still see their bio mom who is now again trying to get custody. The oldest who was subject to the neglect the longest is currently being evaluated by a psychologist for PTSD has outbursts that are quite violent increased after mandated visits. Please pray that the courts will make the best decision for the children- not the mother just because she birthed them, perhaps even permanently take away her right to see these children. Pray also that the grandmother will be able to feel peace this holiday season despite the looming court date. Thanks wonderful O fam!

Eva- can I add in that dogs like to eat whatever they want and then throw it up? (maybe that is where the puking in the hospital comes from?? LOL). As long as we arr making a mess, lets do it ina yummy way!!

Laurie- great news about your friends, good thoughts to the grandmother too!

Eva, i can always count on you to make me laugh out loud. thanks for that!!

Chris, BOOOOO on the sick kids. why does this stuff always happen around the Holidays?? YOU stay well, dear girl.

have already ironed all my shirts (PHYLIS!)
YAY!! i know i'm crazy, but how i LOVE to iron!! in fact (snort...) two days ago i bought a new iron at Tuesday Morning. and i liked it so much, i went back yesterday and bought another of the same one, so i'd have a spare if anything happened to the first one! :der:

prayers to that brave and loving Grandmother with so much on her plate. i'm with you. giving birth to someone doesn't mean you're qualified to raise the child. i hope courts get away from glorifying biological motherhood and look to the best interest of the child, for a change.

Terry! lights on yet? we've got a front moving through tonight. i wonder whether we'll be in the dark. sorry you were up at such a "Phylis" time of night. i see a lot of 3:30 a.m. these days....

OK. time to get off the computer. everyone, have a lovely, fun day. and may your electricity stay on.

I am here!!! And no work for me today! :cheer2:We are closed...and we NEVER close! Brian's offices are closed until noon but that is when he works anyway so he is not so happy.:-(

Lots of places around here without electricity but so far we are ok. The lights have flickered a few times but that is all. Nancy, makes me think of how long you were without electricity and I am amazed!

Oh- back to say- workout done! Now to eat, shower, make a card for the wedding couple. At least if the power goes off mid day I will be where there never is power so we will be all set!! I'll try to fill you in later while the thoughts are still fresh in my mind!

So Linda- Draco hit- we will have it tomorrow, but now that we are associated with a hospital I doubt we will close- I always encourage my families to be safe and not travel to therapy in bad weather- it is not worth it.

Terry, just read through all of the thread and see that you are without power this morning! Hope that it comes back on quickly!

Laurie, great job on the shirts. Are you going to unwrap your new toy before making the card? I am so anxious for you to tell us what you think! Praying for that grandmother.

Eva, you are hysterical!!!

Phylis, are you still having problems with your eyes and migraines? Hope not.

Chris, I can't imagine there not being much clutter with 12 kids. Good luck in there.

Morning ladies... sounds like a lot of you are home for the day too!! Don't you just love days off during the week!! I sure do!! Back to work tomorrow though, but I won't think about that right now. It finally stopped :rain: I was worried that we might float away for a while there :fish2:

Chris - Nice that you have a new client, hopefully not too much clutter to clean up around! Perhaps it will turn into a new permanent client (that is if that is what you want) Hope you get the rest of your to do list done today, then you can maybe relax for a couple of days and enjoy Christmas?? That's too bad that the kids are sick! Hopefully they recover quickly and don't spread it to their mother!!

Terry- Ugghh your power is out again?? I am sending you positive thoughts today to keep your sanity while you wait for the electricty to come back on!

Laurie - Shirts ironed already!! I suppose that ironing is kind of relaxing! I love the smell of freshly ironed shirts! That seems to be the only ironing I do except for tablecloths. You and Phylis can come and iron for me anytime you like!! :becky: Praying that the judge makes the right decision for this wonderful grandma who has taken on such a daunting task!!

Eva - Love your quote by Coco Chanel!! It is a great way to look at life! Thanks for the laugh this morning!

Phylis - how are feeling these days? Sure hope that soon you will be able to join us for a bit longer!!

LiindaS - Hooray for a day off!! What a great early Christmas gift for you!! What will you do with this time off of work today? Hope your power stays on for the day! Enjoy!!

Well gotta get some :washing: done and then do a bit of last min running around town for a few groceries and such. Wind must be picking up again as the sensor light outside is constantly going on and off. Have a great day everyone and for those not having to go to work, enjoy the day!!

Good morning! Had a great talk with my sister this morning. She always makes me laugh - always bummed we live so far from each other.

Chris hope the kids dont get too sick and you take care! Watched Rascal Flats on TV last night on a show all about parents that adopt - it was very up lifting! 12 kids is a lot. Good luck.

Terry so sorry about the power going out! I know how that feels LOL! Hope it comes back soon.

Laurie and Phylis I have lost the desire to iron. Fortunately the Marines taught my son how to iron and he does a great job.

Eva love that cute quote! thanks for sharing

Hope all who are in the snow storm stay safe!

Have a great day!

My boys had a friend sleep over last night. I was worried about breakfast when he asked what brand of waffles I had. Thankfully Eat Like a Dinosaur waffles went over well - he said they kind of tasted like banana bread.

They found mycoplasma in Emery's most recent blood test. We are on round two of antibiotics. Still praying for healing. We are going to start adding foods back in for him. He's looking anorexic. Today it is legumes. He's looking forward to refried beans and peanut butter!

It's raining here in Ohio. I'm listening to Christmas music from my iTunes playlist. I think I'm going to make some paleo marshmallows for coconut hot chocolate. Maybe some coconut macrons too. Of course dishes and laundry...

Those who are sick, hope you're on the mend soon. Those dealing with the snow storm, stay safe.
