Stop it!! Make the calender STOP! Please!!!!!!!:israel:

Just a quick good morning to everyone. I am not running late (yet) but I know I am going to need extra time to warm up the car. It rained like crazy yesterday. And the wind- really bad. A tree fell on a car on the main road out of my town yesterday. The husband dies and the wife is in critical condition. So tragic.
But the temps went from 60* yesterday to 30* right now, so any water left is going to be nasty old ice.

Off to work at MIL's today.

TTYS!!!!

CHRIS!!! I wish I could too!!!

I have got to get off here so I am quick again today....

Helped my Mom get her shopping done yesterday....TWO STORES!! YAY!!! and it was nice to spend the time with my Mom!!! I was fighting time yesterday, to get certain things done...and then make sure Sharon had the kids gone in time for me run downtown yesterday to the box office at the Civic Center....they had a presale on Monster Truck Tickets in Jan....BIG SAVINGS....and I wanted to get them for Cameran and Jesse. There were doing it online too....but the "convenience charge"!!!! I put in for 6 tickets and then when I went to the box office...it was $28 cheaper!!!!!!!!!! $28 is not too freaking "convenient"!!!!!!!!!!! But anyway...SCORE...I got the tickets and now my boys will get to see them...

Okay...gotta run!!

LOVE TO YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!

morning all - the ground is white and I don't have to travel- it is my cleaning and get up the decorations day. I'm waiting to hear from mr gorgeous- talked to him yday morning- got an email from him at 4pm, and nothing- not call, txt or email since then and his phone goes right to voicemail- he does sometimes have poor service in the area he should be in- but he and I will have a talk about using the landline- just to tell me I made it- when I finally get to talk to him. GRRRR- men

another grrr note- we have one choice for insurance at work- HSA with a $2500 deductible (great if you don't have health issues) I'm off to plan how much it will cost me to set aside and to formulate my questions for them-

Linda and Chris have great days- busy ones I know

Petra drive safe

everyone else- have great days too!

Happy Thursday! I am so excited it's Thursday. Does anyone else watch Fringe? DH and I are so hooked on this show, and last episode was a nail biter and then it hasn't been on in 2 weeks. LOL.

Chris - it was like that here yesterday too, but not quite as cold. Went from 60's to low 40's with all of the rain and nasty. Wow, that is a terrible accident.

Linda - Score on those tix! :)

Laurie - grrr ... on the health insurance. Complicated! Where is your DH?

Have a great day everyone.

well- finally heard from my husband- late night phone died- plugged it in and forgot (I reminded him- like LAST TIME) that when it recharges- he has to turn it back on- DUH- and said- hey just leave me a message- when I get up at 6- I will know you are alive- and use the land line if you have to - let work pay for the 1 min call.

ME- he was in Jackson Ohio last night- will be home tonight! Easier to keep tabs on him when he is home! Still cold and blowy- I'm going to start to do my insurance figures this morning- I think I will break it up into chunks- fun fun fun- there is a reason I am a therapist and not an accountant- hate numbers- yeah really not into numbers

Morning ladies. Scrapped a page before jumping on here. I am running out of time to finish this book. I figured I'm going to make it a bit smaller than I had first planned. but I am still scrapping more pages than I will use so I have more to choose from. I can't help it, it's just so much fun. It is also kinda therapeutic!

I think DH got me a new camera for Christmas and used the credit card. Grrrrr. The whole point of paying off bills is no more spending on credit. I told him we would do a small Christmas this year. He never listens. So I have no idea what to get him. Right now he has everything he wanted. He just got a playstaion 3 in August. He bought himself a tree stand for hunting, though it looks as though he may not get out this year either. He's quite bummed about that. It's been over 13 years. Well he went with his dad elk hunting last fall, but they didn't get anything so I don't count that. So I have no clue what to get him. Guess I'll be brainstorming the next couple weeks.

Oh Meg, I sure hope you feel better. Boss' are evil! House-sitting can be fun, but nothing is better than your own home!

Sally: I love your little mini quilts! They are adorable! How do you find the time to be in a band, do stampin up, make your own crafts, and be mom and wife? Wow. Just amazing!

Linda: Ooh monster trucks! Always wanted to see them. Just found out the hubby never has either. I think we will be lookin for a show here in town this year!

Laurie: Men! Mine does the same thing. Forgets to turn his phone back on. White stuff already? I guess it is that time. none here yet, but after raining all day yesterday, last night dropped below freezing= lots of ice. I'm surprised you don't get better insurance being a PT. That really bites!

Katrina - my hubby is the same way, I'm so ticked off at him for not seeing a problem with using the credit card!!!! And he always wants things for Christmas that he won't use that often, like hunting things.

Quick post, on my phone and slighty achey from too much pomegranate wine last night. Fortunately the money problems with my BIL not paying us what he owes us only lasted that one day. He still hasn't paid us, but a big commission check I've been waiting for since October came. So, we were able to go out on our date AND get our beta fish a new tank. My in laws bug me every day about the beta being in a small vase, and my MIL has started clipping articles and it's driving me nutso. So, 10 gallon might be overkill, but it was $19 for a while tank set up, where as plastic 1gal tanks were $23.
Once Junior settles in, we'll get some bottom feeders and white fish that he won't want to kill.

Ugh time to get up and clean up the house a bit before our aunt and uncle get home!

Good morning all ... no work today for me yay!!! I can scrap a bit I hope, have not been doing to much of that lately, at least not anything that hasn't been for calendars. Now my MIL and FIL want me to do calendars for them to give as presents ....like I have time for that??? I haven't finished my own yet. But how can I say no to them?? They have always been there for us, but sure wish they would just do their own christmas shopping!!!!!

Chirs - you be careful on that ice sweetie!!! We don't want to hear of you being in an accident too! What a horrible thing that happened to that poor couple!! I saw on the news that you were having a big old cold front move in. BRRRRR!

Nana Linda - nice score on the tickets!! Your boys have the bestest Nana!! How lucky you are to have been able to shop with your mom! I miss doing that very much!!

Laurie :smow: yuk, but it is that time of year, its nice to look at but not so great to have to deal with if you are driving. Glad you get to stay home today! I hear ya on the phone issues, my hubby is not so good for checking in with me when on the road either, although he has no problem talking to everyone that he works with... I am on the bottom of the priorty list when it comes to work, damn men!!!

Me - Hope that your show is on tonight, all the ones that I like to watch have been reruns, it makes me so mad!!

Katrina - My husband does that too, we promise that there will be no gifts and then he goes out and gets me something anyway...grrrr!!! What part of NOOOO don't they understand. Then you feel awful for not getting anything for them. Wow we are really beating up the guys today aren't we LOL!

Meg - hope your aches and pain go away quickly today, glad to hear that you are in the money again, have a great date night!!

Petra - where are you today hun???

Krista, Sally, Clara... I miss you, hope all is well!!

Have a wonderul day everyone and stay safe

Trudy: we're in St. Cloud (Orlando area) Florida right now. Later we're leaving for Fond Du Lac, WI where we have to be by 8 PM on the 3rd. Then we go empty (they call that dead head in trucker terms) to East Moline, IL (FedEx) on the 4th @ 05:00 AM and pick up for Sacramento, CA where we have to be by the 5th @ 23:00... After Jason yelling at the boss they came across with some miles finally. Now let's hope we're not going to get shut down by snow.

Have a wonderful day all!! ::grouphug

I just took some pics in inspiration of Helen's Camera Corner challenge :)
It was dark last night when I made my lay out so I used old pics but here are some new ones in case you want to see how we 'live' :eyebrows:
Don't mind the mess; the cleaning lady took an extended vacation to the Bahamas :mmph:

Our electronic 'bible'; we receive all our loads on here and can communicate with the dispatchers or hit the emergency button if needed which sends our GPS-coordinates and they'll send police right away (in case of hijackings etc.)

AWWW PETRA!!!! SO CUTE!!!!!!!

Wow, it's so great that your pups get to go on the road with you!!! I would NOT be able to live without my Riley, she definitely holds me together!

Wow Petra...great photos! Hope you are enjoying this trip and it goes without incident!! I am feeling a little bummed out today, I did not make Biograffiti's CT another rejection  I think that I will just stop trying for a while. I hate rejections, don't handle them very well. I know it's nothing personal and I am being silly, but I will get it over it. Hope everyone has a great day tomorrow I am off to work from 8 am til 2pm and then its our staff Christmas party, we are going to the Chemanius dinner theatre for a wonderful supper and then the showing of the Christmas Carol a classic!! Went to the Ladysmith Light Up tonight, it was magical, it is just this little town that lights up every inch of of every space that they have downtown, with a great parade and wonderful fireworks afterward. Around 15,000 showed up for it tonight and nice night, no wind, no rain and no snow, not too cold either so it was perfect. Anyway off to bed  goodnite!
