The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! It is sooo cold here this morning. 57*! No no noooo! It feels too much like fall! For those of you who weren't here last year during the cold weather, I *hate* cold weather and 57* is freezing to me.I will b**** and moan from now until next June
I am all bundled up, socks, leggings, sweatshirt, sipping my coffee. But damn, it is going to be brutal next week when I have to be out of the house by 6:40 am with the kids.......
Cold, dark and exhausted-- that will be the summation of my mornings hahaha!!

I am pretty exhausted ATM, been up since around 4am. I had seriously wacky intense dreams again. The first was really good- I was at my mom's house and there were 4 kids playin gin her neighbor's yard. She was getting angry that they were loud and laughing and stuff. But I told her to be happy that they were happy. Guess who's kids they were?? Nana and her grandkids! She moved in next to my mom. (How awesome would that be???)
Then I had a dream that a vet from the Iraq war was following me- but he was my ex-fiance and he wanted to restart his life with me. Last one was that a friend of my kids died right before they went back to HS. After that I woke myself up and said "Too much, I'd rather not sleep!!!"

Today's good news is that we will be in the upper 80's during the day for the next several days, so that is awesome! Tomorrow will be the last day at the lake, not so awesome....

I got nothing much done yesterday, after I was done playing chauffeur all over town. I felt like I was just driving in big loops for hours, made me dizzy LOL By the time I got home I was too pooped and hurty to do yard work or go to the beach, so I played with a new kit that Maya is putting out soon. Its secret... but wow it is really neat!!!

Temptation on Thursday
Is it too soon to breakout my electric blanket?

:love::love::love::love:

personals.....

Hi Linda S! How is the house coming along? Somewhat unpacked yet? Good to hear that some days will be easier than others for HW with the kids. Two more days til the weekend!

Dumpty- wrinkles, grey hair, sagging skin... it sucks! Between that and the fact that my kids seem to speak in a different language, and as soon as I think I have the translation down, it changes (Mom, that is soooo yesterday...), it really makes me feel so old. hahaha!!
Enjoy your looong weekend (And watch out, Linda S might throw something at you!)

Phyllis- your sis sounds like my hubby. He would make a totem pole if he could. LOL How was your visit?

Nana- I was such a picky eater as a kid, and my mom would do the same thing. Now-- with the grandkids, she'll make 20 different things to make them happy. If my kids now won't eat what's on the table, they can make a PB and J or she'll make a salad. Its enough to make me nuts- I cooked for you 2 to complain about it? grrrr!
That's a hrad lesson to put out there for Jesse, but yes you have to nip that inthe bud, that taking things-- even small things-- is not acceptable at any age. What a mess of a "father." Gary's cousins have the same kind of father and it doesn't get better as they get older..... :(

Trudy-- hoping that you had a decent day at work!

Heather- what will you do will all of that quiet time, besides scarp? Sounds heavenly! I have had to deal with the bullying several times when Cait was in middle school and it really sucks. It is so frustrating when nothing is being done about it. When Cait was in 7th grade, several boys were reporting anonymously that she was cutting. She would be called down to the school nurse who legally had to check her. After a few times of that I was royally pissed off and wrote letters to the school admins asking why my dd was being treated this way and the boys who were doing this were being ignored. The school nurse was a doll and after a few times of that, would just call to let me know that there was a report and she was going to bother cait with being checked but that she legally had to inform me. After the HIB law went into effect last year, things got much better for her, even thought the law itself is flawed.
/end rant

Oh Jen!!! 7 kids in school, how the heck do you do that???? I bet you are like the parents in the Staples commercials singing "Its the most wonderful time of the year!!!"
Hey-- BTW, stop stealing my exclamation points, I think I am running out! LOL

Woot-- Power to the Nana is spot on!!!! :first:

Love to you all!!!!!!!!!!!

hey, Chris. it's 47 at my house at the moment! it was so cold in my kitchen this morning that my glucose meter was giving wacky readings becasue it sat out in the cold by the open window all night!!! unfortunately. we're gettin 86 today and 93 tomorrow. i think i'd rather be cold.

POWER TO THE NANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

indeed you do, girl. i think you're WonderNana! you are doing the Hard Stuff, all over again. i got burned out by trying to do it the FIRST time!! Jen, i'm still trying to get my brain around 7 LUNCHES, let alone 7 KIDS!!:scared:

Trudy. damn. another full day at work?? it makes my legs hurt just thinking about it. i think this boss of yours just thinks he can keep scheduling you in any way he wants to, no matter WHAT you say! maybe you need to become a slug on the job instead of being such a good employee that he keeps pushing you into fulltime!

today? hmmmm. well, the roundandround walk out back for 25 minutes. (i have to put on some fleece over my jammies before i go out there.) then maybe i'll try to bake some coconut flour chocolate cupcakes from a recipe at Elena's Pantry before it gets to be 85 degrees outside and 90 degrees INSIDE. and then ironing. LOTS of ironing....

it's Thursday. er...woot. :bored:

Somethings gotta happen soon ... I'm happy???!!!?? Can't have that more than a couple of hours otherwise I think somethings wrong LOL

Had a wonderful day yesterday. Got a lot of scrapping done + some sewing & crocheting. John and I walked down to DH when he finished work and we had hamburgers and pizza for dinner at a restaurant. I know, it probably sounds ordinary to most, but just getting John out of the house is a small miracle. It was a fantastic day and I'm still feeling happy.

I took a photo of John yesterday ... which is a miracle in itself LOL I was allowed to take a photo of him. Ok, it's from behind, but these days you have to be happy with what you get LOL You can see the photo here: https://ozone.oscraps.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=267163&title=spending-time&cat=1254

Morning gals... Off to work again today and then guess what?? I have the next 4 days off!!! Hooray!!! Guess all these full days have finally given me something to be happy about! More changes in the scheduling at work, I think he sends the work schedule to a Chimp or something to make up each week. Oh well I have decided to just go with the flow and not let it stress me so much anymore, two weeks and then I will be on my vacation with MG and perhaps I will convince him that I really don't need to work anymore....ya like that will happen!! The countdown is on for him to put in his last shift with the RCMP, it will be strange to think that he will no longer be a police officer, its been 35years WOW!!!!

Chris - Sorry you are feeling so cold!! I enjoy these temps, because I am always warm! Damn menopause!! Girl you have the wackiest dreams!! It's very entertaining, but you must have something strange to eat before bed or something, to give you all these dreams. I like the one about Nana Linda moving next door to your Mother!! LOL

Phylis - I can just see you all bundled up in your jammies and walking around and around your deck outside LOL Well at least you are getting some kind of exercise!! That's more than I can say! Thanks for thinking of me at my silly work place! Sometimes I think, what am I complaining about, at least I have a job and so many do not, but I really am tired of working, I've worked since I was 16 and I'm just plain tired!! Hopefully I will have a new outlook after my vacation!!!

Well I'm outta here, gotta get some breakfast and hit the shower. Have a great day everyone!! It's Friday for me, Yippee!!!!!!!! (trying to save some of those exclamations for you Chris)

Thanks! I really like it too. It's not a portrait in traditional meaning, but for me it has a profound meaning. He's growing up, he's on his way to a new life, and I'm allowed to follow along :)
