Well, well, well. Another day of weirdness.
It's just way too cold! 66* in my house, 56* outside. I am wrapped in blankets and can't get warm. I wanted to go in the attic yesterday since it wasn't too hot to get Braxton but then I forgot. I am not sure if I'll have time today.
It was another day of good/bad/anxiety all rolled into one. Love them. I never know if I am coming or going. I started my day in a great mood, all of my plans revolved around spending the entire afternoon outside. That didn't last long because Caitlyn found out that the interest rates increased (again!!) and she was freaking out that she didn't think they could afford the house anymore. A few hours of back and forth and possibly moving some money to pay student loans down and she is feeling a little better. Just going forward ATM and hoping for the best. Talk about knots in my stomach-- and hers and Gary's and Tom's. :/
That put a damper on my outside time. BFF is having more issues with her mom. Plus my dad's two big tests are today and just ugh.
But I put another paper on my fridge! I got an email from the County Parks and Rec Dept. with the August activities. There is a Forest Bathing Hike this Sunday at the trails that I usually hike on. And it was free! So I am all registered for that and added that to my Pride Shrine. *G* I showed Scott and he said, "Yeah, I saw that yesterday. Wait- no-- this is a new one!" He thinks his friend leads this one too. I am looking fwd to these.
I am cleaning this morning and then going with Gary to his Lyme dr appt this afternoon. That's always a long trip and a long wait. My friend lent me a book Normal Family: On Truth, Love, and How I Met My 35 Siblings. I started it last night and hoo boy, it is wild! I'll bring it with me to read in the waiting room.
Today, I am grateful that I enjoy reading. I love reading books on a wide variety of topics. I can go from Young Adult dystopia to a WWII battle to a mind-blowing memoir like this one. Each book opens a new world to me.
