hellloooooO O-Fam! A good morning to you all.

I am just going to have to say how much I love my new coffee maker. It has two heat settings and when it is on High, it keeps the coffee nice and warm for a long time. :cof1:
I had a great time catching up with my BFF. Her kids are having the best summer- they have jobs that are giving them so much experience in their future careers. My nephew is a paid intern with the county gov't and wrote his first press release. (he just graduated HS in June!). My niece is the director of the YMCA summer camp- her group is with the 3-4 yo's and she supervises the teachers of those kids.

BFF is trying to get ready to be an empty-nester in a few weeks with both of them being away at college. Gary and I were saying how happy we are to have the kids still home. But will that make it harder when they finally do move out? :noidea:
BFFATS's DD is doing the reverse. She is moving back home after being away at college for 2 semesters, then a semester in Italy, and then a job at Disney since May. It will be so nice to see her smiling face again.

Scott and Leah celebrated their 6 year anniversary last night. He shared a FB created video of photos of them and man, I got choked up. They were such babies when they met but look at them now.
Caitlyn and Brendan went to the animal sanctuary where my other niece works. Juliet had no idea that they were coming and flipped out when she saw them. They were taken on the tour and got to see all sorts of snakes and turtles, ferrets, chinchillas, a skunk! As you can imagine, Cait was in heaven. (*insert my exclaimation of how much I LOVE my family!!*)

Busy day for me today. Gary and I have appts with the LLMD this morning. I am feeling still quite stable, especially once I got over the post-May and June exhaustion. That is great news. Then I have to clean as soon as I get home. I think I might collapse by dinner time.

Nancy- when are you leaving for vacation? Sounds like it must be coming up soon with all of your preparations going on. The new lens for the iPhone will be great for your son to fool around with.
This weather! Pouring like mad one second, sunny the next. :gaah:

Rae- I hope that you hear from the MLA soon and they can transfer B to a more appropriate setting. I think that confinement would make the healthiest person crazy. Good to see that you scrapped a bit and I hope that you can do some more of that soon.

Felis- the rain we are having is such a pain. It makes it hard to make plans but what can you do? The weather is weird all around the globe. But I am glad that it makes you happy and the song must have let your emotions through. I hope that whatever is going on in your life is all wonderful things for you!

I was able to find a pair, thanks to my friend who works there. I hope that they are comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

I better start getting ready for the Drs appt. It is an hour away so we have to leave early.

good morning - the weather is so strange with rain then sun and then the humidity. Luther is one hot dog but he still wants to walk of course. We leave next Tuesday for our cruise and I am so excited. And yes still have lots to do. I feel like I will be packing more electronics than clothes LOL. Yesterday had a great dinner with my girlfriend and her daughter. We just talk about mundane things but nice. Today is more errands and tomorrow more errands.

Chris good luck with the dr. appts. I am glad you are feeling so stable. How fun to be with your Bff. Those jobs sound awesome. Glad to know that there are kids out there working to make the world move and be better. I often think the news should feature more of these stories of every day people doing their best. I bet Cait was so happy to see all those cool animals.

Rae so glad that MLA is working on Bailey's case and will try to get her to a more appropriate place. I am like Chris and I think if I were indoors for that long I would be going crazy. It is a good thing you all are there so often to break up the routine. My son got lens for his iPhone from a company Godefa. It is surprising but they seem to work really well and came well packaged. And they were very inexpensive so that makes me wonder but for this if should be perfect. Glad you got to scrap!

Felis rain is the pits for me no matter how warm. I grew up in a desert area of Arizona and we never had to worry about rain and I really liked that.

Trudy saw the photos on facebook and it looks like you and grands are having a great time!

Morning ladies... a very quick pop in for me as I had to get the coupons to the July challenge winners completed this morning. Off to the Lake today to have a visit with sister Pam and her granddaughter Bella. It is finally a bit cooler so it will be more tolerable for all of us. Hard to work around the naps that Hunter has, but we are doing ok! The boys are keeping us very busy so not much time to stop by and say hi!! Oh Felis I saw that you deleted your tracking post for the challenges, what's up with that??? If you have qualified for a coupon let me know and I will get it sent out to you. I hope that everyone is having a wonderful day and I would love to catch up with all of you but my time is being spent having fun with the kids and cleaning up after them :faint: I will be one exhausted grandma by the time this summer is over LOL. love you all and miss being here with all of you! :wave:

Good morning, ladies. Busy day, lots of work but have to leave mid morning for a few hrs to go have a family mtg at hospital with the doctors about B's management. Will visit with B for a few minutes after mtg and then get back home to work. Tonight we'll stay home so I can be sure to get all my work done as my primary client is leaving for a holiday for a week and want to stay on top of the work today and tomorrow so by day's end hopefully I will be all caught up. That'll mean that next week is a much slower work week. I have a list of errands/appts for next week to fit into my day but also hope to get a bit of scrapping done.

Chris - glad you found some runners. That tour sounds interesting, I would love it.

Nancy - how exciting that the cruise is next week.

Trudy - I've seen some fun pics and sure looks like a great family time!

Good morning, my dears! Such a lovely morning!
How to describe you something that even I don't understand completely?! This is the first summer after the school years which feels like a really special time, not just frustrating hot season. It's like life happens on two levels. The regular daily life still run under it, but on a top of it is that magical summer dust that happens.
I mean we have these awesome new albums released as a soundtrack of one summer when meet new people and exchange ideas.
I'm not naive, I know this will end very soon, probably with the end of the summer, but just DON't care right now. It's as a Cinderella which wants this one night, before everything to turn back to pumpkins again. I hope it make some sense to you. Because when see it written it sounds silly and kind of hipster, but it feels different if you live through it.

Chris, great about the coffee maker! And So awesome that most young people in your life have jobs that love! I would love to visit this animal sanctuary, but you know that. Hope all with the appts will went fast and easy!

Nancy, I'm exciting about your trip too, can't wait to see the pics you'll bring for us! I totally understand you about more electronics than clothes. You can go almost every occasion with pair skinny pants . We have the similar weather and the wet grass attract many mosquito which made our walks very unpleasant. But except that one the smells of summers rainy afternoon is just wonderful for me!

Trudy, I'm so happy to see you here! We know you spend a lovely time with your kids, so we didn't sorry that don't see you often now. I'm sure you will come back with bunch of funny stories and pages! Don't worry about the tracking post, yes I deleted it advisedly, all is cool, don't think about that, old story! Enjoy your time!
