OMG, I cannot take any more of this. Caitlyn's car is dead again. It has been for a long time but she went to drive it to babysit yesterday and darn if it didn't stall out on her as soon as she backed out of the driveway. All of the lights are on and Gary says it sounds like one of the cylinders is skipping ( :noidea: ). we looked at the paperwork from the mechanic and she has had two of the six replaced already. So, does she dump more money into this car? We obviously can't have 4 adults sharing two cars. We are sort of covered for the next few days. Scott is going to go to school early on Monday so I can take my car to the Drs. I am going to take his car to the vet tomorrow and keep all fingers crossed that I am back in time for him to leave for school. Ugh!!!
This is sooo stressful.

Yesterday went fine at my neighbor's. I didn't go as detailed as I usually do but I got the majority of it taken care of. I felt it by the end of the day but 100% deal-able.

Today... I don't know what I am going to do. Gary and I are going to go over to the FP for a bag of groceries. I might try to do some yard work today. Just to clean the leaves off of some of the daffodils and tulips that are buried. IMHO, Dirt Therapy will be worth every twinge of pain I might experience. Pffft...
I also want to try to talk Caitlyn to coming with me on Saturday to House Party for Elizabeth Warren that is only half-hour away from me. (For those no in the US, Warren is one of my favorite women ever and she is running for the nomination for President. She is smart and strong and would *love* to see her speak. I am nervous about going by myself so if I can bribe Cait...

Anyway- better post this, W is whining and I have to take her outside.

Nancy- we really are having a nice few days, aren't we?

That stinks about the refs making bad/missing calls. I bet it takes the fun and excitement out of the game if you are ended up aggravated by the officiating.
Is this your last week of PT or next week?
I hadn't seen that about Outlander on Netflix. How cool! I was planning on giving Gary a break before I put on Hold on Season 2 at the library but he asked me about it so I went ahead and did that.



Kay- what a wonderful and probably much-needed good night's sleep. I am glad that you are feeling better, physically. I hope that emotionally you feel better soon too.

Holy cow! That is a huge purge you did, Good luck with your back ups!

Morning, all. Yes, I am feeling better today. Managed to finish the backup by 6 PM. Whew... glad to have that done. Only used 40% of the 2TB EHD so have plenty of space now. The computer is running bit faster, too!!! All around - it was a good thing to do. I was smart enough to mark the EHDs [oldest, last, and now the one I am using] so I know which one to reuse next time.

I really need to do some scrapping - have LOs needed for a couple of my designers by this weekend.

Chris, so sorry to hear about the car dying on Caitlyn. It is hard to share cars when people are going different directions at the same time. Glad to hear you feel well enough to do some cleaning... just try not to over-do.

Nancy, glad to hear your PT is finally ending. I am sure you will keep up with the exercises, etc on your own.

I will be running a few errands... and go pick up my mail. Haven't been out of the house since Sunday. Today is suppose to be nice and sunny with temps back into the 70's ... so a good day to be out. Have a great day...

Hello girls, last working day before the long Easter weekend!
Weather is different every day, so we aren't sure do we have to plan garden party as usual, so we decided to stick only to our family. Lots of shop and preparing in next few days.
There is few things I hate at summer and one of them is full body epilation! I guess you don't have choice when you are married, but as a single I have right on little secrets at winter, but now we all decided to wear dress. I have really low level of pain tolerance . This is kind of too much information, excuse me, but I shared it with reason! When I was young I thought that Nature just bless some people to be beautiful and they become famous and rich by luck, which was very discouraging. In present day one of the advantages of Instagram is that these celebrities allows you to see their dailyfe, not only their achievements. Can you believe that canadian Top Model Nadia Kae, was answer on my beauty question. She is so kind! And have new trend when singers post their exercises at gym before their concerts. It's so much relief to see that all these sexy bodies are product of hard work, not some kind of Nature bless. It's kind of raising self-esteem even I'm not completely ready to switch on Summer regime!

Chris, you are saw that I posted my question for the Gallery Spring clean as a separate topic. Thank you for your answer again! I want to see what more people think before to start to delete, as you was more for not do it, and I don't want to mistaken with it. I really have to stop ask others for decision, this is very bad habit, but I prefer to be well informed than just spontaneous.
Sorry to hear about the car's trouble! At our previous conversation you was told me that your city is not bikes friendly and distances are too long for walking. So I guess you'll needs another car. So bad! Huh, what can do people as me who aren't able to drive? That's why I give up from living in city, everything is on distance and you can't be eco responsible. Hope you go and see Elizabeth Warren's speech! I'm still for Oprah president!!! Not as I have right on opinion, but I like this woman so much! She knows what is your roots to be shadowed from slavery, and also at her personal life she survived violence and it not break her spirit, so I want she to receive all she want!

Nancy, I think I can understand all emotion around the game on this stage of it! I'm happy that you have interesting time, even not exactly satisfaction.
Oh, I'm sure Luther attract attention, he is so cute! I like Chris metaphor for parent and her baby, even I was thinking more about some celebrity on walk. It's nice to hear that you both shared my opinion that dogs help their people to be more social.

Trudy, congrats for the first sale! Hope you was able to make your hike! Oh and about the dog walks I remember you was told me for your walk with Stormy. Congrats for the new oven! Use it with pleasure and for long! I know it wasn't planned, but it's pretty and functional to have your appliances renewed. Is that one of these ovens that can be commanded from your google home?!

Morning ladies... I was MIA here yesterday, but got a late start in the morning and then Heather called and we chatted while I was getting my backpack all ready to go. I then got an email from one of the coffee shops asking if I would like to display my Art there and could I come today?? What!!! No I could not I have to get hardware on my paintings to hang them and make some signs sheesh!! So I asked if I could bring it on Monday instead. They agreed, so Hooray!!!! They don't even take commission if there is a sale so double Hooray!! :bliss: Now I need to get busy and get everything ready!! So our hike was gorgeous yesterday! A new one for all of us that attended (20 of us) I went with my SIL Veronica (my brothers wife) and we had a great time together, lots of chatter and laughter and we did a bit of shopping in Nanaimo afterwards. We hit Michaels and I picked up some paints and canvases and then we went to Costco for a few things. I did not get home until 4pm so it was a long day! I will try to get a page done soon of this beautiful hike, but I will be busy for the next few days!

Chris - Hope you and your Gary find what you need at the FP today! Glad that all went well with the cleaning yesterday! Hope you get in a bit of dirt therapy today also! Enjoy your time outside!

Felis - Wow how exciting to have a question answered by a celebrity. Yes it is the product of a lot of hard work for most of the beautiful people of the world, although some are blessed with great DNA too LOL. Everyone has their own beauty and you should not be so worried about your looks, you are a very beautiful young woman inside and out!! I do miss my walks with Stormy but we very rarely were encountered by other people and their dogs as the trails were out more in the woods and all I really worried about was running into a bear or a cougar :becky: I am not sure if my new oven can be run by my google home mini, I will have to find out!! I hope that you are able to get outside and enjoy some nice weather over the next few days!

Nancy - It really is discouraging when the refs decide who is going to win the game! :mmph: The Bruins game was pretty good though and they let them just play hockey for a change (or maybe I am biased?) Sorry you are feeling so bummed about the hockey games, I totally understand the feeling! :sad: I hope that you are able to get out for a nice walk with your beautiful Luther and that it will raise your spirits a bit!

Well I have to get to the hairdresser this morning... hooray it will feel so good to get that done ! Lots of activity next door as they are tearing down the retaining walls in front and backyards and getting the landscaping all changed, it will be interesting to see what they will have done! So a lot of trucks and machinery parked up and down the street! After the hairdresser I need to make a few stops and then I better get busy with my signage and putting hanging hardware on my paintings! Have a great Thursday everyone! :wave:

Good day - yes I have been discharged from PT and now it is up to me to keep it up on my own. I am really happy with my progress. Yesterday my girlfriends ate at a Mexican restaurant and I had a margarita and it was delish. We sat outside as the weather was perfect! Got home and took Luther for a quick walk. It was so gorgeous out. It was dusk and no wind. Today started out sunny but clouds are coming and it will be rain this evening. More hockey last night. Just one game Caps/Canes but it went to double OT so I still did not get to bed early. But I was happy to see the underdog win - Canes won! They deserved the win as they played so much harder than the Caps. It was like the Caps finally ran out of steam after winning last year. The urgency to win just was not their. Saw to day that Boston won the Cup most recent in 2011 and three teams have never won. It is good to see these teams going on. So tonight the 2nd round begins and I have two more games. My son got home late and could not believe that last night's game was still going. Have errands to run and then a nap. LOL!

Chris congrats on the cleaning and no over doing. I am so sorry about the Cait's car. It is so hard to know when money put into a car is too much. It is hard to coordinate plans with one less car!

Kay glad you are feeling better. Congrats on the back-up success!

Felis I love it when famous people take the time to answer our questions. I know on Twitter I have had several people interact and it is so fun! And yes the amount of work they put in is impressive. But they have the time to put in the work which also helps. I agree with Trudy they also have good DNA.

Trudy how great for an art show! You are going to be famous! The hike sounds awesome! Cant wait to see photos! Have fun at the hairdressers. It is always fun to me!
