The sun is out!! It's 38* right now but we might actually get over 60* today
I cannot wait for it to get hot. 80* would be amazing. 75-85* is my ideal temperature range, wish I had more than just a few months of it each year.
Me and my frizzy hair aren't thrilled with the NJ humidity, but it's a tradeoff.
I am on the Countdown to getting back to work: T -26 hours. Am I a little nervous? Uh-huh! Do I know what I am nervous about? Nope!
I know part of it is that I feel rusty. Will I be able to control the flow of the day? Part of it is standing on my feet for 4 hours. My legs and joints and ligaments are more than a little twitchy. But-- I got this! The weather is going to be a little warmer than today and my plans are 97% ready to go. I am working with one of the interns who is awesome and helpful. I told him that he is going to be in charge of the running.
I spent a lot of time yesterday getting some photos and projects together for the HS session. I don't know what is happening over there but Lauren got a concussion a few weeks ago and is still out of work. She is the glue that keeps all of the programs rolling in the same direction. Or the plates spinning on poles without crashing. (Considering she fire dances and hula hoops, she is good at that! Heheh). Between her being out of work and the Earth Day celebration in *looks at calendar* 10 days!!
It's got to be chaotic.
Big plans for today: Scott is coming over for coffee in an hour. Finalize my prep/soak the beans for tomorrow's lessons, and set out my hummingbird feeder. There have been sightings in Central Jersey, which means they will be on their way here soon!! I charged the camera for that feeder, and will make the nectar today. Then
Wishing you all a happy and patient day!
