It is officially Tax Day in the US although there is another pandemic extension this year. I worked so hard last month to get them done and then never did anything about submitting them. I still have until May 17 (?) to file but I might as well get on it today. I was thinking that I was going to do that yesterday but the weather was pretty nice so I worked in the yard and saved the desk stuff for today since it is rainy.

I drove Caitlyn to her dr appt and it was nice taking the "scenic" routes through Bergen County. Some of the homes are incredible- huge! I could fit probably three of my homes, maybe four, into one of those. Then I paid bills, grabbed lunch, and went out to clean up more leaves. I still have more to do, I haven't even made it to the backyard, but I have plenty of time before it is safe to put plants out.

I talked to my mom and my dad finally has a date for his shoulder replacement- May 11. I am so relieved that everyone will be fully vaccinated so I can get down and help them.

Today is pretty much a blah day. Taxes-- woo hoo. Maybe some cleaning. Definitely laundry. So much fun I can't stand it! :p
Wishing everyone a fantastic day!

@Cherylndesigns I would be so impatient waiting to do the shutters but nope, don't take any chances with the weather. A year or so ago, I refinished my DR table and was just finishing a coat of poly when a sunshower came through. You should have seen me trying to roll the tabletop to the underhang without getting the poly messed up.
Is your SIL doing any better today? That is terrifying! Scott got the J&J last week and has had leg pain too. He went to the Dr on Monday to see if it was an issue. The Dr said that it was most likely not a problem but to keep an eye on worsening pain, chest pain/shortness of breath, or a severe headache. She wrote him a scrip for an U/S for his legs if he felt like he needed to get that done. He seemed much better yesterday which was a relief. I really hope that SIL is feeling better too. Hugs to you all.

@taxed4ever Congrats on being an official Senior- now you get all of the good discounts hahaha!!!!! Gotta say that you sure as heck look amazing for a "senior." I am happy that everyone spoiled you too. You deserve it! The flowers and wine glass are beautiful. Did the silhouette come?
Congrats on the vax appt, fingers crossed that you have no issues!

@nancyr everyone is getting spoiled by their families, love it! Not the Devils, though, eh? To lose to the Rangers of all teams...
You accomplished a lot- talking to people and being social is no small feet anymore. Wait-- snow?? Are we supposed to be getting snow? drat, I hope not.

You silly people. Dogs chewing up their beds is nothing. pfft! Wait until you have a dog that chews up two sofas! ROTFLMAO!! My baby also had separation anxiety (she was a stray that we rescued) and *hated* the crate.
I did this LO about it years ago-

This was the second sofa that she killed. And this was after we would cover the sofa with TV trays and boxes if we left the house for any length of time. She was the best girl though and I miss her every day. </3

@faerywings Chris, excuse my yesterday curiosity, I didn't want to put my nose at Caitlyn's business! I asked just because you can worry practically for everything, it could be wisdom tooth or so! Hope she is feeling well!

Waving to the others, girls, I hope to stop by later, but I'm so lazy these days...

Good morning all. It's good to be able to say "good morning". LOL

Chris @faerywings - OH MY - that dog chewed up 2 couches????? I don't feel so bad then. Bailey never chewed up any furniture - my youngest dd's 2 dogs chewed up their leather sofa though! They rescued this little pup and she has been a holy terror! She's chewed up all sorts of things.

Oh my goodness, I can't believe that Gary is having that leg pain! Roger has had a terrible headache, too. They came over last night and he seemed a lot better. Still has the leg pain, but it has diminished. The headache was gone, and his BP and color looked more normal. Chuck has a BP cuff and he took Roger's BP night before and it was really high and his face was beet red. His color looked back to normal last night. Scary things are happening! We all felt better about Roger yesterday. Day before, we were all spinning like tops.

I keep going back and looking at that layout. ROTF

Good morning Felis @felis. Thanks for the links to the IG gardening sites! I've already looked at a lot of them.

Waving to all and Trudy @taxed4ever hope you had a wonderful birthday!!

Morning all...Been a busy morning already. Still trying to get caught up on scrapping LOs. Oh, I am loving my new haircut... it is so easy to take care of. I can do a wash and wear or take time to blow-dry it like I did this morning. Took time to get a few photo with the laptop camera after I did it. Using one for my avatar and attached another one so you could see more of the pixie-style.

Chris, so glad that your Dad finally has his shoulder surgery scheduled. And glad you have your Covid shots so you can help when he has it done.

Can't believe it.... they are talking about SNOW late Sat into Sunday!!! Hope there isn't a lot of it but looks like it might fall between here and over into TX where my sister lives. She is planning on coming over on Monday so keeping fingers crossed that it melted before she gets on the road. We are having wind warnings with gusts upwards of 45-50 mph for the next two days. Glad I got most of my errands done yesterday. I checked out the other WalMart and they still have cashiers checkout so will be going over there from now on. I bought a 20-piece cooking set in burgundy as my old pots/pans set was over 20 years old and showing its age. I kept 3 of my large pots for making soups, stews, and enchilada sauce as they were in good shape.

Cheryl, glad you didn't work on the shutters with the rain and bad weather out your way. Maybe by next week the weather will improve so you can finish painting them and put on the clear coat.

Trudy, hope you had a wonderful birthday. Love the photos.

good evening - Well my youngest son is officially engaged. Her divorce is finally final - signed sealed and delivered. I am so happy for them. The kids are very excited too. They faced timed me and they were so cute. No walk as rain all day. But I got a lot accomplished. I uploaded my photos to my dropbox account and now I am deleting those that I really don't need. This is from year 2015 LOL. I still have a way to go. But it makes me so much better to have the stuff backed up. The Devils are playing the Rangers again and at the end of the second they are losing 4-0 so I am not watching. I can watch my team lose just not to the Rangers. LOL

@faerywings Chris amazing what we put up with dogs. They look at us and our hearts melt. Glad Cait is doing well. Glad you got outdoor time.

@Cherylndesigns Cheryl your dog sound like the one that a movie was made about. I cant remember the name but the book and movie made me cry but that dog just chewed through everything. Glad every is doing better after their shots.

@BrightEyes Kay I love the pixie style. The was the way I wore my hair when I was a child. Of course I wanted long hair when in high school and college. Now I want it short again.

Waving to all
Have a great day!

Hello again! So I managed to come back on a next day. Sometimes I'm feeling like Sloths, I'm pretty sure they don't realize that speed on their life is much slower than the others, as if they exist in different dimension. But at least they are cute! Now when I'm back to work (I work from home but...) I feels like this take all my energy, as I'm lost my habits to stay concentrated and organized. Of course I'm not complaining from having work, oh, no no way! Just I'm looking for some explanation where my time goes?! At the evening time I want only to sit on peace to crochet. I'm working on few different projects at the same time. Soon will have what to share if you are not get bored from me already!
The reason that crocheting won over scraping is that I'm not able to scrap till others are watching tv or talking to me, I need solitude and special state of mind to scrap. But I already have idea for 3 pages and soon will do that too!

Nancy, I'm so happy to hear that your son can finally to move on with his plans! He is so brave to engaged so quickly and for girl with kids, I really admire him! It's very smart from your side to backup everything! Every day I remembered for some folder that is lost with my old computer, I was on rush to save most important and I'm forgot so many things.

Kay, your haircut is so pretty and fancy, you looks awesome!

Cheryl, I'm happy that I was able to help with recommendation of the gardeners! I absolutely love to connect people! Oh, yes, my sister is awesome chief, if she wasn't so shy I would subscribe her for MasterChef! She really like to try new tastes and in the old life she was traveler and we have lots of foreigner acquaintance, so she have a really wide view over tastes and options, but my family prefer more traditional food.
Hope everything gonna be alright with your SIL !

Chris, you should be more discrete, I'll be very upset if someone shared with strangers about my 'female related' problems! I really didn't want to show such a curiosity, but I was misunderstood that it's something dental. Apologies again! Best wishes for your dad!
I never could live in bigger house, as only the idea for cleaning these empty useless rooms will depressed me! o_O LOL! On theory I can live at ''my own house'' , but as you all know I'm filled it with cats . The ''guest room'' is something cynical at Felis's dictionary. LOL :D!

Trudy, lovely photos and I'm so happy that you had so good birthday celebrations!

Hello lovely ladies.

Kay, @BrightEyes LOVE that picture! Love your hair! I'm glad we didn't work on the shutters, too. It's rained all day today too. Ava's leaving for the weekend, so we'll get them done eventually. We're determined to do them ourselves. Haha We're stubborn like that.

Felis @felis I love the gardening IG's you sent me. Your sister's cooking sounds amazing and how awesome would it be to get to meet Gordan Ramsay? I'd love to meet Aaron Sanchez, too!

Going to go to today's dailies now. Hugs
