end of April, really ?????? Where is all the time gone ?

We start in the week-end today. Tomorrow is a public holiday.

my son brought my husband to the doctor to change the bandage. They are there still 2 hours and my son has to go to work in 1 hour :-?

We have a little sun here , I hope we don´t get to much rain.
tomorrow my girl friend comes to talk a little. She has a hard time at the moment and I think it´s good to talk a little , eat a cake and drink Capuccino.

What are your week end plans ?

I am feeling a bit better than I was yesterday, thank goodness!. Yesterday was one of the worst "head days" I have had in a long time. It took everything to not put my head down and cry and cry. I did have a few moments when the tears would start. But I was successful in tamping them down. I am too good at that for my own good, but it is the only way to cope. That, and the way I put myself into Overdrive. OMG- it is totally compulsive. I cannot stop moving. Scrubbing, vacuuming, pulling weeds, mopping, climbing on counters. All of the things I am not supposed to be doing. It is as if I stop moving, all of the bad in my head will catch up to me, and that would be bad bad bad! I am paying for that physically today, but at least my head a going in the right direction. Now if I could just find some *balance!* ha!!!

Today, I have to be strong again- Cait is having more tough times. Her BFF is dropping out of school, tomorrow is her last day. She is going to get her GED while living at her father's house. Right now, she is within walking distance and in a bunch of Cait's classes. Caitlyn is miserable and this is making her hate school even more. She started asking about homeschooling to finish out this year and there is no way, but that doesn't stop her from asking over and over. *wry smile*

Nothing up for today except getting blood drawn and making some b-day cards. I have to make 3, my two nephews and Gary (May 3, 5 and 7)
Today is also the day I blow kisses to Heaven for my first nephew and godson, Jake. He passed in utero 18 years ago. I was talking with my BFF and how it feels like both just yesterday and forever ago.

QOTD Something a little lighthearted-- what movie or TV do you quote? Do you quote it on your own or as part of a group, like with your family at the dinner table or with friends?
Hands down- my family quotes Monty Python and the Holy Grail. We don't even have to be talking about the movie itself, but if a random word triggers a line- we all go for it. Someone could ask, What is your favorite color- and we all respond with "Blue, No- yellow- ahhhhhh!" That movie lends itself 100% to be quotable like that. I see a lot of references to it online as well.
I can't wait to hear your favorite quotes!

That is so nice to be able to talk and have coffee with your friend. I miss my BFF so much. Texting and emailing is just not the same as face to face, right?

Trudy- ADOPT me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those play areas look so fun!!! Your g-kids will love them!!!
Shar- water play was always one of the special treats to take out when I was teaching. When Scott was a baby I would strip him down, put a plastic mat on my kitchen floor and give him a small tub of water and some measuring cups and he adored that!

Dina- I wish I could live somewhere that it didn't snow in the winter. I hate snow.

Astrid- ouch is right! My hubby's family has a history of the males cutting off bits of fingers. My FIL- tip of a finger, BIL- one who finger cut off and half of another (reattached, thank goodness!) , DH -- tip of his thumb. When Cait called about a year ago saying that Scott cut the tip of his finger off on the school bus, we all joked- he is officially a "Campbell" now. Luckily, it was just the skin off the top of his finger and he doesn't have feeling in that spot, but no other damage.

Great news about the TV hahahah!!

Time for me to get rolling....

that´s scary:D. Seems my husband start such a story. Few weeks ago he cutted a piece of skin with a plier at work and came home with a big bandage. And as a child he cutted of half of his index finger.
 
Morning ladies... I just had a long post and then DD skyped and I accidentaly closed off my post! :rant: how come I am so brain dead some days!! Oh well no time to repost the whole thing again, so I will wish you all a happy day and I hope that the sun shines for all of you today. Off to swim as I did not get to do my laps yesterday, the pool was so busy I could not even find a parking spot anywhere near the pool! :mmph: So I have decided to start swimming on Tues, Thurs and Friday and see if that is less busy. Ok off I go :bolt: see you all later! :wave:
 
Wonderful day on the golf course for me with DH and friends. Now DH is brewing mochas for us, and ordering Dominos pizza for dinner. Can it get any better?

One day I openned, perhaps today I closed the daily thread ?

It's 2:00 in the morning here (GMT +3) and no way to find sleep.

Awakened at midnight by sore throats (still have it) ... and more : stomach ache, vomiting, cough and a big lack of energy.
I was ready in mind to have a nice week end, do not understand why my body don't want to grgrrrrgrrrr !
I am disgusted :-(

read all your posts on this thread, unable to retain anythings ... I better close this ipad, switch off and close my eyes even if do not want to *sigh*
