How is everyone's weekend going?
Yesterday was exhausting for some reason. I worked on F-W stuff from 9-2, then I crashed. So tired! I went to bed at 9:30, and Gary just told me I slept through some extremely loud thunder right after- knocked our power out and everything.
But I am up and drinking my coffee... so far, so good!
Anyone need a refill? I have a big pot on!

Linda W- That is awesome that you got lots of scrapping done- I am going to be off to leave love in the gallery, soI am going to make sure I check out all of your lo's
Sooo.... do you miss the g-kids yet? My mom has called twice just to "check in" on them

Linda S- man, we missed you! I am so happy that you are back. I am coming to your house for that home made ice cream! Yum!

LindaP- thanks for the updates on Green Day. I wish I had the $$ to take all 4 of us. My whole family really loves them. we watched a Green Day special on Fuse last night together. The family that rocks together, stays together? :D

Dawn, why am I thinking that only you could have a gender confused rabbit?
How was the hair appt?

Clare- I haven't been to fireworks in along time- so glad you had a great show!

Clara- oh how nice that your friends are joining you! It is always fun to travel with friends! And so sorry to hear about the mouse problem. It makes it even harder to get motivated to clean :(

Andrea- I so totally KWYM- I have done that- worked so hard, and then looked back and said WTH?? Eeeww! I am sure your lo isn't bad- we are always harder on ourselves.
My biggest issue is that I compare my LO's to all of the other amazing ones and hate mine even more!
As for the ginger.... the ginger fragrance won't help, but ginger essential oil will. I am going to throw in a small bottle of some ginger oil for ya, ok?

Good Morning Girls!


After a full day of scrapping...my fingers started cramping up...last night my DD and I were chatting on facebook, and I kept typing all this garbled mess...she was laughing at me and said I needed to go to bed...I kept telling her I wasn't tired, my fingers were cramping...she wimped out and went to bed...I stayed up til 1 am...as usual. My brain wouldn't slow down...I kept thinking of more photos, and what kits I have...etc.....geeez...I was bitten by the bug yesterday!

Well...DH and I are off to have some breakfast...local chain here in town, has excellent food and coffee! and is cheap!! we both eat for less $10. But it's always packed for those reasons!!

Andrea...I cannot believe you love to grocery shop...I hate it...mostly because of $$$...seems we spend an aweful lot and get almost nothing!!

Clara....YIKES!! I don't freak about a mouse...but EEEEWWWWWW! Wish I could go on that cruise too! We have never been on a cruise!

Clare....How exciting...fireworks! I love them!!

Good morning lovelyOs! Got my hair all done, it's a little light for me so I'll have her put some darker brown in next time I go, but it's better than it was LOL.

LMBO and Davy is still nuts as ever. I did more reading last night and found out that both males and females have nipples, wherever I read that before males don't was wrong. I did find out that the thumping and humping is a sign of aggression in both sexes, but thumping is mostly from fear...extremely not the case with Davy, s-he is just hyper and nuts. So, I don't know....either way getting him fixed should help that. Shew.

I'll have to go back through and read yesterday and come back and comment. Looks like a busy bunch yesterday!! xoxoxoxo
 
Good Morning ladies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How is my "O" Family today?

The party was FABULOUS!!!! It was actually gorgeous weather....overcast with a nice breeze but warm enough for the kiddos to go swimming. All Nick's little friends made it and everything went beautiful without any drama! Who could ask for more? We are off to the toy store in a moment to spend his gift cards!!

When we get back I am scrapping!!!!!!

How much fun for Nick to shop with gift cards! Is he 6? And it's great that the weather cooperated. Can't wait to see what you scrap!

Hi everybody! When I was getting ready for church this morning, Vince called and told me that he's going to be held up in Charleston because the Army is having trouble getting the money to him to pay for his hotel room. How stupid is that? He has to stay in the hotel room, doing nothing but running up more bills until they get the money to him to pay the bill. We'd just pay it and wait to get reimbursed, but he's been in this hotel for 3 weeks, and we can't cover that amount.

SOoooooo... grrr. Those of you who are my FB friends know how I felt about it when I heard this morning. LOL. A little bit screechy and angry! Then when I was backing out of the driveway, there was this CRRRUNCH so I stopped the car and discovered that the next door neighbor's kids' razor scooter had been UNDERNEATH my car, and I ran over it. Now, my car is a Toyota Echo, not a big tall 4 wheeler or something. My poor little tires look kind of like donuts. So I don't know how this scooter got under me, unless somebody put it there on purpose. *sigh*

Good thing I was on my way to church. :-) Sang some hymns and got myself a little peace. Not that I'm not still somewhat riled up. But this too shall pass, and I'm sure it will be funny someday.

LindaW- yes, grocery shopping can be expensive, but I have fun trying to be frugal and use lots of coupons. I know, I'm crazy. I couldn't care less about shoes, but give me a great sale on chicken breasts and I'm all in a flutter! Hee hee~

Kat- oh kids LOVE those gift cards, don't they? For Quinn when he was younger, a gift card was the best gift of all, he had so much figuring out what he was going to "buy!" So glad your party was a success!

Chris- you are the BEST!! Thanks so much, and I'm glad you are feeling rested and good!

As for now, I'm gonna go catch up on my FB games and then SCRAP for awhile!
 
Hi everyone! Yesterday was a great day! A VERY hot day that wound up giving me a major headache that I am still fighting today but, I would do it all over again.

We had our HOG chapter meeting first then we went and worked at the dealership volunteering for the Make A Wish ride. We served burgers and hot dogs to the riders as they came in.

Then we went and rested for a bit at our friends house until it was time to head over to the 2nd Quarter Chapter mixer. We were only there for 2 hours though as my head was killing me and we had an hour drive home. And.....our kids missed us and we missed them. Hard to be away from them all day when we know they are home.

Today has just been a lazy day for all of us. Kids are on their second trip to the pool and DH and I are about to go get a few groceries before our kidos starve. Or, so they think. Not enough snacks and junk food in the house I guess.

I will catch up on personals in a bit. DH is hovering over me like a hawk. :rolleyes:
 
Oh Andrea...what a dreadful story. So sorry that the day started that way but glad that church helped.

Well, I'm heading back to work after 10 days so I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself this evening. However, I definitely plan to stop in at the Daily O's in the morning to get myself started!
 
Hiya everyone!

Chris-How are ya today? Did you get rested up? And, yes, I seem to attract weirdness, even in my pets LOL. I'm going to take Davy to a different clinic, I hate to, but I need a vet that knows something about rabbits. The place I'm going to go to is more expensive, but oh well. Davy needs fixed and I don't want her/him cut on by someone who is not sure! s-he is now leaking urine, I'm not sure if it is what you could call spraying or not, but when s-he humps my leg I get a good soaking and his tail is wet a lot. It could be a UTI...soooo...I'm trying to decide now if I want to take him there in the morning and leave him til I get off work so he can get checked over. Least then I could find out how much his surgery will be and maybe find out for sure about his gender LOL. My usual vet didn't even know you aren't supposed to withhold a rabbit's food/water before surgery, since they can't vomit there's no reason for them to fast.

Neets-hi there, how are you? Great photos, sounds like you had a busy time of it yesterday!

Andrea-I hope the Army hurries up and pays for the hotel, that's just crazy!

LindaW-LOL about the scrapping frenzy! I get like that sometimes. How was your day today?

LindaS-yummy, did I hear something about homemade icecream?! I'm there! I love icecream anyway, but oooooh my do I ever love homemade :).

Kat-Sounds like Nick had a great birthday! What did he get with his gcs?
