Good morning!!! I hope that all of yoe were to sleep late this morning. I was up at 3, then 5, then got up at 6. Guess that isn't terrible. Could have been worse, woke up at 3 am and stayed awake. I had another nightmare, SMH.

Not much happened here yesterday. I unpacked and did some laundry. Stool sample for the little one came back negative for woms so that was good news. we took Jaida and the Little One for a couple of walks. They seemed to be getting along much better until after dinner last night. They were in the LR together, Cait had TLO on a short leash and out of nowhere, Ray stayed barking and snapping, which made the other two dogs do the same. Cait put herself between TLO and our girls (she knows that was wrong but at the same time couldn't do otherwise) and TLO scraped her arm pretty good with her puppy teeth. It wasn't a bite but she is bruised. I was way more worried about it than she was. I think all 4 of us are really conflicted about what is the best path for the family- human and fur.

Today, I have to get some more housework done-- the Sept Bash is in 1 week. :gaah:

And dogs need to go potty! See you laterz ;)

Nancy- I think my kids would put the dogs into daycare when they are studying but only because they know that they end up wasting so much time playing with them. Dogs really are distracting. :pupkiss:
That gizmo is perfect for your DS. heh!!

Trudy- hope that you aren't too sore after doing the yard work but I bet you and your sister had a nice time together even if it was working. Bet the wedding pics will be excellent and that will mean lots of advertising and more bookings for her.
I was surprised that I only took 30 pictures. Some of them were the same shot, just different angles so it isn't enough to make a book but I can do a collage of some different sized photos.

felis- we had 6 cats at once on time and never less than 2 except for a few months when we were first married. A dozen is a LOT!
Those are the questions we are trying to figure out. The most important thing to us is the effect on our dogs, then the new dog (will she be better in a single dog home?) then our family, then finances. LOL
Don't worry about your spelling and grammer- we love hearing from you and can figure out what you mean. If we can't, we will ask :)

jean- have a great time with your group today! I hope that you get everything done.
I am proud of you and felis for doing P 52, I can't keep up with that kind of stuff but I am glad that you both are and I love hearing how you support each other.

Rae- I can't remember if you said how long you would be having Beckham but I hope that you were able to get enough work done in spite of the barking. Must be hard for him to understand that he can't do what he used to :( I have a hard time with that and I am human (or so they say LOL)
Oh-- I see you have Beckham until Monday Goodluck with him and the weather at the trailer! Enjoy your book too.

Good morning, ladies. Enjoying the cool morning air, smells so clean and fresh. Its in the mid 60s but will warm up soon. We'll soon head out for groceries and errands. It'll be a nice drive and won't get too hot to keep the dogs in the car. I've got a bag of stuff for consignment and will see if I have accrued any more credit with them.

Then back to the trailer for a relaxing afternoon/evening and plan on scrapping at least one page. Watched the most recent episode of The Sinner last night. What an episode! Can't wait for the finale next week.

Chris - I think you are right, you have to really think about how the pup fits into your family. Sorry to hear Cait got bruised during the scuffle.

Hope everyone is having a great wkend. I'm getting out of here, need to get ready to head out to shop. Be back later.

Good late morning ladies... another busy day rushing around getting errands done and off to the Farm Market to pick up a few things there. Going to the Nursery today to hopefully find some nice Mums for the front porch. Took some photos of our little hide-away and will try to get them in a layout soon. Not much time to talk today, as per usual DH has many things for me to do today :becky:

Chris - Poor Cait!! Hope her arm is ok and that the dogs start to get along better soon! I can see where you would be conflicted about adopting this little one! Something you will have to think long and hard about! I am sore after all the yard work we did yesterday, but the B&B looks so nice!! My sister has a budget that uses for yard work and so I reap the benefits and get paid well for my contribution! Although I would gladly do it for free as we work well together and always have some good laughs!

Nancy - I totally understand about not wanting more gizmos for the TV!! We have 5 remote controls lying around the living room and it drives me crazy!!! I hope that you are enjoying a nice day today, if your weather is anything like what Ontario is getting right now it will be a beautiful warm day!! DD and family are heading to the beach today, first time this summer and now summer is almost over

Felis - I used to always have at least two cats and a dog while we were growing up, no animals for us right now, but perhaps one day. Yes we are happy you are posting here and we will figure out what you are saying like Chris says! It will be great practise for you to learn better English grammar although most of us are not really good with grammar either LOL!!

Rae - Hope you are enjoying your time at the trailer and that you have lots of credit at the consignment store!! You could probably find something fabulous to add to your closet!! Have a great relaxing weekend!!

Alright I have to go brush my teeth (with bottled water) as we are still on boil water advisory, its a P.I.T.A.!! We are so spoiled and take for granted what wonderful water we usually have! Enjoy the weekend ladies!!

Good morning, ladies! Looks like weekend is time for shopping :)! I need to take a shower, because we will go to the capitolia. Today orthodox christians celebrate the day of Holy Martyrs Faith, Hope and Love and Their Mother Sophia. This is also the feast of the city and I hope hypermarkets to have some special sales! Like you see I needs from biggest package cats toilet, which you just couldn't find in my town.

Chris, you worried too much! I can bet that she can't find better family than yours. And she will be so happy if you keep it her. No, the one dog family is not better, she will feel lonely because for dogs is normal to be in pack (except the cases when they have a small kids or work at home person, which to spend more time with her, then people replace the pack). Don't force events, give time and see what is dynamic of your group. If she socialized good with the others, you can do what your heart want right now :) . But if you see problems I have to repeat what Rae said already, if your decision will hurt the feelings of your previous babies, then the choice is clear. Poor, Cait! Hope this accident not upset her much!

Trudy, I thought you have one white dog?!

Rae, I'm enjoying to the crisp morning and evening too, but unfortunately days are still too hot. Hope you have your relaxing afternoon!

Have a nice day, girls!

GoooOd mOrning to you, goooOd mOrning to you, good mOrning, dear O-zies, good morning to you!!!!!!
:sing:

Happy Sunday! I woke up at 6 (yay!!!) and it was still dark outside. That is such a bummer. I really don't like the feeling of waking up and it looking like it is the middle of the night.

Did everyone have a nice Saturday? I think I did?? hahaha!! I started packing away the summery decorations-- seashells and all that. That made me sad, but I am trying to move my head right on into Halloween mode. I had a photo of a dog at the ocean for my phone wallpaper and now I have gray spooky trees.

I am working on getting my schedule for the week - or at least attempting to. I have to set up a schedule to clean a bit. Maybe if I do a room or two a day it won't be too difficult.

Hugs to all of you!!!

Rae- I see that our weather has flipped itself again, you have cooler weather, we are humid and warm.
How did you do at the consignment shop? Any more good deals?

Trudy- Did you get all of your errands taken care of yesterday? I am always conflicted about mums. I try to scrape every last bit of summer out so to buy mums in Sept is wrong in my head. But then if I wait until Oct. it is worthless to spend that much for only a month of blooms.
Looking forward to seeing your page on the porch!

felis- for me, there is never a good time for shopping, i hate it. Hope that you had a blessed day!
Cait's arm is better and it didn't upset her at all. An animal could take off a toe and she wouldn't mind, she would give it willingly. Crazy girl :)

xoxoxo!!

good morning it is hazy warm and very muggy. Yesterday was over before I knew it. Got up and took Luther out early with my DH and it was fun. Then did some chores. Then watched a movie from 1991 City Slickers. My sister has said for years I should watch it but just never did. It was fun and it was a crack up as Jake Gyllenhaal was Billy Crystal's son. Made a Blue Apron chicken dinner and it was really good. You roast eggplant and then mix that with plain yogurt for a topping to the chicken. And it had green beans with golden raisins. I like that combination of sweet with the green beans. My hockey team had it first practices. My team felt they were soft to play against last year so they are trying to be a fast and tough team. We will see. My first game in Monday night. Today is football and making sure my fantasy teams are all set. I did get a lot of scrapping done. My Eclipse book is just about done.

Chris hope things are well with all the dogs. Poor Cait I hope she is doing better. My DH has had to step in at time with Rex and Luther and it can be scary and glad it is just a scrape. Hope prep is going well for your Sept bash.

Rae your cool morning and warm afternoon of sitting on your porch reading with sleeping dogs sounds delightful. I read the book the Sinner and OMgosh what a strange story. I may now go and see if I can find it on demand. Maybe the show will be better at explaining the story.

Trudy having to use bottle water to brush teeth is the pits and yes we are spoiled with having our clean water, electricity and gas. Bet the farmer's market was fun. Maybe today will be a lot calmer with all the chores done yesterday.

Jean yes my son is paying for a room in Jersey City but he comes home on the weekends for laundry and food and if it rains he does not like to walk to his apt from train in the rain. He cracks me up. I think he is leaving a bit at a time. Like he just can't break that tie. But Luther loves having him home. More play time.

felis your life is so busy - how wonderful to be able to care for so many cats. My one cat is so sweet and to go to sleep with her purring is the best!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... we are supposed to be having :rain: today, but not a drop in site  Wish we could get that moisture that is so needed!! (never ever did I think I would be saying those words LOL) I am sure once the rain does start it won't stop until May :becky: Today we are bottling wine. DH was up super early and now has returned to bed for a quick nap, so it is nice and quiet in the house and I will take the opportunity to quickly post here and get my last hike scrapped, then hopefully my porch page!

Chris - I was humming and hawing over getting the Mums already too, but they are so nice and there are so many colours to choose from. I think I will go out and pick up a couple more smaller pots this week and fill my porch with colour. I also want to get some bull rushes for decoration too. Perhaps I can convince my Gary to do that with me today. It is sad to say good bye to summer but you fav time of the year is coming up and I am sure you will be getting all kinds of halloween things down from the attic. Good luck with your scheduling today! I have cleaning in my day also and need to get the bathrooms done at the very least .

Felis - You have probably seen photos of my son's dog Storm. I do not have any pets at this time and miss my little Mr. Abu he was such a sweet cat! I do not miss the hair all over my house though LOL. At some point my DH and I want to travel, so it just would not be fair to have a pet. I do love animals and often wish we had a pet of some kind.

Nancy - You have been busy I see in the gallery, so nice that you make such great use of Anna's templates, they are so fun and easy to use! Your pages always look so amazing! Yes the Farm Market is always fun and very busy!! Some of the girls know me by name now LOL I tried some new BBQ Pork Rinds (they like to call them Pork Crisps) they were so yummy I bought a big bag full and another bag of the plain ones! :hungry: Just wandering through the market is fun, wine tasting and food tasting so many wonderful flavours and smells and of course all of the local veggies and fruits. Next time I should take some photos and do a page!

Rae - hoping your trip home across the border is not too long, bet you wish you could stay so much longer! I bet you found some more wonderful bargains!!

I need to go dry my hair and get this day going!! I slept until almost 8am :bliss: I haven't gotten up this late for a long time!! Feeling a bit stiff from all that gardening I did at my sisters. I will have to txt her and see how the wedding went yesterday! Have a wonderful Sunday everyone!

Good morning, ladies. I'm sitting down to relax for a few minutes with my coffee, before packing up to go home soon. The dogs have been fed, taken out and given lots of rubs. They are napping right now.

Yesterday I popped into town and brought a bit of clothes to the consignment store. I had built up more credit so was able to get another big bag of clothes and only had to pay a few dollars above the accrued credit. I just love my new fall/winter wardrobe. I got a blue raincoat that I am going to love and more shirts and sweaters. The clothing karma continues!

We spent the evening watching the sci-fi show Killjoys, we are about 1/3 way thru season 2 and have one more season to watch. I also watched this week's episode of AHS. It is scary and am loving it so far.

Chris - I hate the dark mornings too. I woke at 6:30 but it was still so dark out so laid back down til 7:00. I'm sure you guys will be immersed in Halloween stuff soon, hard to believe it's not that far away.

Nancy - sounds like another wonderful dinner!

Trudy - how nice to get paid for your work b/c it sure sounds like you do a lot. Hope you had a good trip to the market.

Felis - hope you find some deals when shopping.

I'd better start packing up now. Have a great day, everyone.

Yesterday the computer genealogy group was good and I think my sessions were well received. Mostly just relax the rest of the day and catch up on things. Today is sunny and fairly warm and full of football on TV. Things I need to do will probably wait for tomorrow.

Felis, sounds like a busy day. Good luck with the shopping.

Chris, glad Cait is OK from and with the pup. Summer ending is so not how I'm feeling. Setting up at the meeting it hit me we hadn't done that in 3 months as we don't meet in July and August. Have to adjust I guess even though NOW it's warm. Hope you can actually schedule your week.

Nancy, almost to a hockey game! Your DS must be a trip. Maybe someday he'll actually be on his own. Rearranging YOUR schedule for his convenience seems over the top. At least Luther likes having him there and you don't have to miss him. Good luck with your fantasy football.

Trudy, hope your soreness goes away soon. I'm sure the wedding was beautiful and your sister will be happy. Now if it would just rain for you!

Rae, you continue to amaze with your shopping prowess! Great going. Hope the trip home is smooth and quick at the border.

Hope everyone is having a great day.
