Hi hi, hiiiii! How are you all-- this afternoon? I can't believe it is already 1 pm.

I am doing OK. Just not sure how I can do nothing but feel busy all day long. Yesterday I did ... what? I vacuumed, cleaned kitchen... raked, went down to pick up Cait's car- Oh yeah! Pumpkins! I can't believe that was just yesterday. Time warp!

Today I slept until 6.30, then got Whisky over to the Rabies clinic. It was no wait at all. It was just hard trying to walk up to the Center while all she wanted to do was smell every other dog that had gone before her. It is about 1/4 mile from where I had to park and up a decent hill (it is next to our local airport, yes -my town has only one grocery store but does have an airport- if you are lucky enough to have a plane, I guess you could food shop anywhere *grins* ). People will try to park closer to the center, but then they get stuck on a road that is more like a driveway. It is fast to park down below and walk. She did good, no barking at other dogs. On the way out, there was a dog that looked like Jaida and she went to go sniff her. Looked like J, but def. didn't smell like J! :D

I have a little more work around the house and then I am D.O.N.E. for the day!

Enjoy the rest of your day O-Zies!

Quick ones from yesterday:

Ack, Trudy! I can't even go there... although I got my F-W's order for Christmas products today (even though it was missing a soap mold, grr) I can't think that far ahead. But I should. I am sorry that it caused you to toss and turn.
I am sure that your calendar is coming along gorgeously! You are really getting a lot done.

Nancy- I bet it was freezing at the Gardens but how nice to go. I will have to look up that artist. Enjoy your hockey games, hope the guys keep up the good streak.

Rae- WTG on getting the book to review! Have you started it yet?
I don't like mint so I don't use it for myself, but I will use lavender for headaches instead.
Hope you and Taz had fun at the park. One more day and we can take the girls out, today is the last day of Giardia Tx. yay!

Jean- well, at least you got to drive the nice car to your mammo. Looking at the bright side!
That is too bad that your DH didn't get to see the rare bird on his survey. Maybe another one will show up?

Felis- name days sound like a great celebration. We don't dress up the dogs, I don't think that they would let me ha!! Last year I crocheted them "studded" dog collars so J and R might wear them, but all three have their Halloween bandannas on all month. Whisky only chewed hers a tiny bit :)

I hope that you are all having a wonderful Saturday and are all busy doing something fun today! I will just pop in to say :hello: and then off to the grocery store, farm market and one of the electronics store so DH can buy the cable that he needs for his new tv.

Chris - You had a very, very productive day yesterday and so I hope today you will be able to just sit back and relax a bit!

Ok I am outta here! :bolt:

Gray day here and chilly, but will probably be indoors anyway. Ohio State football on TV shortly and maybe I will goof off and scrap some more. Was nice driving the new car yesterday!

Chris, all the little things count! That's what makes up most of my days. Hope your weekend is off to a good start.

Trudy, love that January page! Hope shopping and all went well.

Wishing you all a great weekend!

Hi everybody!
The time zone difference, always confuse me. When Chris is told that is afternoon, I realize it. Here is evening and I wait to watch movie. Today was very cold, so cats prefer to lie around the fireplace. The dog walk was very short, because the little one also prefer to stay on warm. So I played with my big dog in our yard. He likes cold, because of his much fur, so was more than happy to have me only for herself. Nothing other. I spend lazy day at the net. I finally watch Luther on Instagram and he's lovely, Nancy!

Chris, sounds like Whisky is been good girl. I also would prefer walk than to stay stuck into the traffic.

Trudy, have a fun shopping today! I saw the page it's gorgeous! I have to find time to comment here.

Jean, I hope the new car drive is make you to feel more comfortable with it! I saw your page too, I'm not even start nine, ups :guilty: , but I easy make two at once.

Now I would say goodnight! But except if you don't plan short afternoon nap, maybe is better to wish you fun weekend! :yo:

good Sunday morning - well I have had a wonderful weekend so far. Yesterday all my hockey pals bailed on me so I went by myself but I knew Carol was going so we met up and watched the NWHL (women's professional hockey league) the Metropolitan Riveters vs the Boston Pride and the Riveters won 4-1. It was so fun. Not many people but one interesting person was our former Gov. Christie Todd Whitman. I am not sure many even recognized her. After the game we went for pizza and the place was fantastic. Carol had to go do fan club work while I waited and had ice cream for dessert. Then the Devils won again coming from behind with 2 goals in the 3rd period. It was so exciting. Since I sit with other season ticket holders it was fun to be with them too! The game was scary as the AZ Coyotes have not won a game and we - the Devils - did not want to be the team that finally lost to them. Whew. Now my team is off for a western Canada trip to Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton. These will be hard games and we will see if we are good. So have to wait for more games until Nov. While at the game my DH texted me to say that our Viking Cruise was on and he taped it for us. Well OMgosh Joey and I made the final cut as they filmed us as we kayaked in the fjord and we could see ourselves. It was so fun to see! It was fun to relive the cruise. It is only an hour so to see ourselves was pretty fun. I am working on two pages but it seems I keep running out of time. But the weather today is to be the pits and football started at 9am so I may get some pages done. But if the weather is not too bad I may go and get an autograph of one of my Devils hockey players, Will Butcher. He is a rookie and he is doing really well so will be fun if the weather cooperates.

Chris have fun with being DONE. I know what you mean about not sure what you did but you were busy. The weather is not too bad yet by me as Luther was out on his walk with my DH. Hope you stay dry! Glad Wisky did so well getting her shot. Nice to know she is now protected.

Trudy I bet your MG is happy now he has the correct cables. I am sure he is not happy with the final play of the Kings against the Bruins. What a shocking end. Though it was a pretty sweet play.

Rae that is so interesting in being able to review books. Have fun. Hope to see your review in print!

Jean glad you enjoyed the new car. Now that it is chilly use those seats! There is a rare bird at my favorite birding site and OMgosh the cars and the spotting scopes are all lined up and they are having problems with too many cars. A common greenshank. Sorry you DH did not see his rare bird.

Felis my Luther also loves being out doors in the cold. And Friday when I brought him home from doggie day care he went to the deck and fell asleep. So cute. Thanks for the nice comment about my Luther.

Have a great day all!

It was lovely, lovely day! We decided spontaneously today to be your day for collecting fir cone. We use them as a firing, and collect only old, so to not be bad for the nature. To be honest we did not collected so much like previous years, because they was wet. But we made lovely walk. The colors of the forest was so beautiful! It was so refreshing to be there! Unfortunately, when I looked at the photos I take with my cell phone they are too dark and I'm a little bit disappointed. But will see what I'll can to edited. I wish I could go there alone, so to can go more often! But we met many people: lumberman, mushroom collectors and even one motorcyclist. When I was younger I was much braver (or reckless), I hate how timid I am now. However! We was with the car and whole family. Previous time the dog didn't like much the forest, but today was cold and she find it much, much fun to run around! So lovely day! I have to scrap it soon.

Nancy, sounds like very fun day! So much fun that you get to know a little better other people with season tickets. Fingers crossed to can get an autograph, this will be soooo cool! Yey, filmed you, so now you are some kind of celebrities for the other fens :cheer2:!

My lovely ladies, I hope all other of us also to have lovely day!

Boy, I am late here again. You would think that I lead some exciting life or something like that.

This morning, I had to take Cait into the Dr at 8 am. Friday she choked on her gummy vitamin and must have pulled a muscle in her abdomen from coughing so hard. She has been in pain since then. Yesterday she slept on and off all day with a heat pack on her stomach. This morning she was downstairs at 6.30 in even worse pain. Thankfully, our Dr has Sunday hours and takes walk-ins so we showed up as soon as they opened at 8. He prescribed a pain med and a muscle relaxer and she is sleeping now. She did say that she thinks the meds are helping when I went in to check on her.

It wasn't the most relaxing start to my day :)

I am just about finished with the housework, waiting on one last load of laundry to dry. It is a rainy afternoon so I think I might just do some mindless tagging in ACDSee.

Trudy- Sounds like you had a busy day too- did you have a successful shopping trip?

Jean- hope that Ohio State won!

Felis- Time zones really are so strange. Weird to think that Australia is a day ahead of us. I would be like your cats, lounging in front of the fireplace, not outside in the cold. hah!!

Nancy- What a great team name The Riveters. Good for you for going even though your friends bailed on you.
Whoooo hoo! You are famous! How neat to see yourself onTV!
Stay warm and dry tonight, sounds like it is a crazy storm coming up- 2-4" of rain. The basement is going to get wet. :(

Felis- your hike must have been so nice- I love how recharged I feel after being outside. I collect pine cones too and dip them into melted leftover candle wax. Dust them is sawdust and they make pretty firestarters. Have fun for the rest of your evening

xoxo

Chilly and rainy here so staying in besides it football Sunday. I did NOT get up to watch the Browns at 9:30 but DH did. Too bad they didn't score in the second half and lost. At least DH got to see Ohio State come back and win yesterday. World Series games fun since we don't have a team playing this year.

Nancy, too bad the others missed your fun hockey day. How cool the former gov. was there. And now you're on TV! That cruise will be an ever sharper memory now. Have fun with football today and good luck with your fantasy team.

Felis, I'm so glad you had that lovely day. And I know you can edit those photos to be more what you want. I too remember doing things when younger that sound a little crazy now. Partly I'm less daring, but also the world has changed at least where I live. It was never totally safe, but more so than now.

Chris, sure sorry about Cait. Hope the meds and sleep take care of it. Hope the day got better from there.

What a busy wkend I've had. Yesterday morning I headed out to the bird sanctuary and had fun photographing the scenery and wildlife. It was a gorgeous day and the morning mist was fun to photograph and softened all the shadows. By lunchtime the sun was out in full force and the park was packed with people so I'm so glad I went early morning. Then came home, had a late lunch, loaded my photos and watched some shows with D. Then a friend asked if I wanted to go to Colony Farms this morning so we headed over there at 8:30 and got some cool pics of morning fog and then got some flower shots (can't believe there were still some blooms out). Popped over to the mall, the Bay had a sale so got a great pair of memory foam slip-on shoes for 40% off. Then took Taz for a walk and now I'm getting some desk work done. The weekend has flown by!

Hope you have all had a wonderful wkend.
