In case you are wondering, no, I didn't sleep again and yes, I had very odd dreams. My BFF texted yesterday with a bunch of things that were bugging her, asked me how I was and she got blasted with a very long list of stuff that I was stressed about. It has been a lot.
But I won't keep on talking about that. It is what it is.

Do any of you have fun weekend plans? Leah might be coming up today, Scott said that he wasn't sure. just yet. Caitlyn has homework and needs to update her Etsy shop. She sewed these awesome and 100% adorable stuffed bats that need to get listed. She also got two more custom orders for hammocks for bearded dragons. She made one last week and the dragon mom was so happy and shared photos of Mr. Ravioli (yes, that is the lizard's name, how adorable!) in it. She will be busy doing that.
She got a job offer through her college to tutor a few students in Psych. Unfortunately, she had to turn it down, she simply doesn't have the time. It would have been either tutoring or sewing and the sewing is her creative outlet. And she makes more money with that too.

She is planning on driving me to the FP this morning. I miss hanging out with her. And Gary and Scott too. We have fun at dinner, but at that point in the day, I am so tired it is hard for me to keep up.

It is chilly but at least the sun is out. I need to get into the attic to bring a few warmer clothes down but I guess I will wait until we know if the washing machine will be working at some point. Until then, I am just gonna keep stealing things from Gary. :p

Have a wonderful day!

Trudy- How was the pool? It is so weird that you would be nervous to swim, on its face, but I would feel the same. I hope that everything went smoothly and that you feel wonderful dn strechedout. And not too sore from using muscles that have not been used in a while. hehe.
I have tried to stay up later and I *still* wake up between 2 and 3 am. The dustpan and ce wanting to clean again makes a lot of sense. Any ideas of what it meant that I was shot in the head and couldn't get the bullet out from last night's dream? :D
I know that I shouldn't worry about my weight but it is what I do and in my own disordered mind, I like to be lower weight before this time of year so when I do gain weight over the winter it isn't so much that my eating disorder difficult to cope with.
How are Hunter and Mason doing? Have all of your g-kids figured out what they are able to do for Halloween?

Cheryl- I don't eat before I go to bed!
Your hike sounds inspiring and the view must have been invigorating!
I can't wait to see your photos.

Love to all of you!

Rae- it is so good to have you back chatting again!! I am happy that the chair helps and doesn't hurt too much as long as you move around. I saw a few of your photos on FB, even in pain, you have such a steady hand and good eye. I am thoroughly jealous! I would love to have a day without pain, I has been month since J took me down in the driveway and my shoulder and hip are still not right.
I don't know if you read that Gary was Dx's with Crohn's now-- do you have any advice? I know that D has to deal with that, unfortunately. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hugs again, O-zies!

Morning ladies... it is a cloudy cool morning, but so far no rain. So today will be a clean up the yard day. So many branches and fir cones in the back from the last wind storm and we also have to get the bushes trimmed and flower beds winter ready. So another trip to Bings Creek to dump all the yard waste is in our future. My swim yesterday was wonderful!! It was so good to be back in the water! I did have to share a lane, but it was with a lovely woman that I have seen at the pool many times. She did not stay for very long, so I ended up having the lane to myself for about 30 mins. I found that most did not stay the full hour, but heck I had to pay for the full 60mins so I was going to get my moneys worth LOL. We were not allowed to shower and wash our hair in the change room, but we were able to change into dry clothes and had 10 mins to leave the building at the end of our session. It was very well organized and I felt very safe, just wish that they only allowed one person per lane, but they say the virus can not live in the chlorinated water. I have booked my times for the rest of the month and then we will see how the Covid numbers are here, who knows we might not be able to swim in another month as numbers are climbing. :mmph:

Chris - I had a very strange dream last night too! I was in bed and could hear this horrible loud noise, like someone was cutting metal. I got up to see what it was and our car was in the driveway all torn apart and was being chopped up. Now what the heck does that mean??? Then DH was trying to tell me something and I couldn't understand what he was saying, he kept whispering and I kept telling him I could not hear him because of all the noise LOL. Then saw the light on in the bathroom and knew someone was in the house Yikes!!! What a weird dream! Sounds like Caitlyn is doing so well with her sewing and her sales! How awesome is that!! I am sorry that you are still not sleeping well, I too wake up every night around 3am and have to make a trip to the washroom :mmph: then I have a hard time getting back to sleep. Sometimes staying up longer at night helps, but not always. Hunter and Mason are doing well and seem to be very happy and content these days, not sure yet if the any of the grands will be trick or treating, parents are concerned as too just how safe it will be. Hope you manage to get your warmer clothes out of the attic, your Gary will be running out of things to lend to you LOL. Keeping my fingers crossed that your washing machine either gets repaired or replaced!

Cheryl - Your day spent at the rock sounded amazing! I hope to see the photos in a layout soon!

Well no scrapping got done yesterday as my day was full of other things that needed to get done, really hope that I can get to work on my challenge page and also need to get some more of my calendar done too! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Good afternoon, all. Trudy, glad you got your swim in. Sounds like you thoroughly enjoyed yourself.

Chris, I guess we can't blame your crazy dreams on what you eat. BWAHAHA

Girls, we had THE best day yesterday!! I made one layout already for Anna's Color Challenge - https://photos.google.com/photo/AF1QipPHf_SqdI2LVmXqoy_eHlwgb56uqzFPaulu5dbu

Of course, I made a Google Album - I hope Ava adds her pictures - she took a bunch on her camera, too. We're so silly when we get together. It's easier to share our fun by putting these albums together. Here's a link: https://photos.app.goo.gl/X5szQ78uj6d1WBnT6

Ava, Braden and I went shopping today. I found a cool flannel semi-heavy coat with a hood on it. I just love it. We went to the most interesting store - prices all over the map. Then I treated us all to McDonald's. Braden's 6'3" and plays football thus eats a lot. He had 3 sandwiches, large fries and a coke. LOL

Hope everybody has a great Saturday!

Happy Sunday from a very cold NJ!
Whew! I slept (slightly) better last night. No crazy nightmares and each time I woke up, I think it took me less than a half hour to get back to sleep. That is more like my normal insomnia instead of that supercharged stuff.

Cait and I had a nice time driving to the FP. It is only about 45 minutes out of the house but we always end up having a fun conversation. The FP asked if I wanted meat and they offered either pork loin or whole chicken, I had gotten a chicken the last time and I know that Gary likes pork (I typically don't eat pork at all but figured I could if it was free. Also it doesn't have bones which is a big plus!). Please don't ask me how much it weighs but the thing is over 1.5 feet long! I can probably get three meals out of it. It is frozen so I will have to defrost and cook the entire thing. I am thinking maybe I will cut it into sections once defrostd and prepare it differently? Then refreeze the cooked portions? I haven't made pork loin in at least 10 years.
Any suggestions????
I scrapped a page for an upcoming release and while I don't think it is visually one of my best, the process was very much out of the box for me. Being creative made me forget the rest of the BS happening, at least for a few hours.
The kids wanted to play Mario Party last night and it was one of my better games. I still came in last but we had fun being silly.
Today I have some things to doaround the house and get ready for the week ahead. It is a busy one.
hahahaha, no it isn't! Nothing is happening. What else is new? ;)

Have a fantastic day! xoxoxo

Trudy- Did the weather cooperate for you to clean up the yard? I hope that you are warmer than it is here. I have more yard work to do but it is always difficult to walk around the front yard when all of Gary's decorations are up :p
Yay for a good swim!!! I bet it felt fabulous and freeing! I am really happy for you! Yeah, ITA-- get in as much as you can while the cases are good, seems like they are rising everywhere.
Whoa, your dream was weird! Maybe the car getting chopped was fear of being isolated again? Trapped? But dreaming someone is in your house is always unnerving.
That is good to hear that the boys are doing good, no more tears from Hunter about school?
We are having a discussion about how much candy to get. We rarely get T or T-ers on our street and this might be even less. Gary always wants to have more than enough candy but I freak out b/c it is so expensive. What are most parents thinking at this point?

Cheryl - thanks for sharing the photos- the ones of your shadows made me laugh! You and Ava are such fun together! What a beautiful view!
It is strange to be buying warm clothes after living in FL?
BTW- your LO didn't link up correctly but I will head to the Gallery to check it out

Good morning, ladies. I had a very quiet day yesterday, was able to lay down quite a bit and rest my back. Now we're binging Star Trek Discovery. We're almost finished season 1. I started a challenge page so will get that done today, do a bit of reading (Little Secrets) and do some more tv binging. So glad I don't have extra work to do on wkends anymore or in the evening after dinner (I think I mentioned earlier that I quit one of my clients, so I could less the time in my office chair).

Going to pop out for a few (short) errands later, see how I hold up. I am supposed to not walk/stand/sit for more than 15-20 minutes at a time which makes it difficult to get anything done and limits my activities. I am starting to feel really weary/weak and aside from the tiring aspect of the back pain, I think some of it is from lack of exercise, lack of movement. So I will push myself a tiny bit today and figure out how I can squat/sit to rest for a minute here and there as I'm out. Ugh...can't wait to get better.

Chris - sorry that G has Crohn's. G should eat the exact opposite of D b/c he eats everything he shouldn't and it's always been a battle trying to get him to eat healthy. I know that he reacts to corn, fatty foods, spicy foods and feels better when he eats white rice/bread rather than the high fiber ones. I remember one woman told me before that she feels better with mashed potatoes when she flares up.

Trudy - glad you are enjoying the pool again. I will probably start going at some point as it'll be good for my back but I'll wait a bit before looking into that.

I'm going to go scrap for a few minutes and then go lay down. BFN

I'm so glad you enjoyed my pictures, Chris. I have several people I like to share our adventures with and it's so much easier to make up the albums. I laughed too when I saw the shadow pictures. We're so silly. I have no idea why my LO didn't link, but I see you found it. I just posted another picture, for the Anna Lift, showing me going to the edge and looking down. I'm terrified of heights and figured that as much work as it was to trek to those rocks, I was going to get the full pleasure of looking down. It was a big deal for me!

So Gary has all of his skeletons ready for Halloween? I need to go catch up with his pictures on FB. I'm trying to stay off of FB these days except to post my layouts, but I'll go look.

Yes, it's very weird to be buying clothes for the coming cold weather. It's been a long time. Flip flop wearing for so many years has ruined my feet for comfortable shoes, but I have several pairs of boots that feel good.

The Canadian Geese were back today! Chuck counted 14 of them! The kids scared them off riding their ATV's past the pond about 10 times today though. They stopped in for lunch (they know how much food we keep) - they had been all over the property and were both wet and their boots were muddy. They ate, left, came back with banana bread for Chuck, then were off again. We get the biggest kick out of them!

Hope everybody had a great weekend!

good late evening - It has been chilly, the low was 37 F and that is too chilly for early morning walks. So my DH took Luther early and then I took Luther mid-afternoon. I was beautiful by the afternoon windy though but at least in the 60s. Other than that my days have been very quiet. I have found another show that I am bingeing - Heartland. It is a Canadian show that takes place in Alberta, Canada. I love the scenery. I love that they talk about places I have been too or have heard about from watching hockey. But it looks really cold in the winter and it looks like lots of bugs in the summer LOL. But wow the rivers and mountains are so gorgeous. My cousins live on farms in eastern CO and I am always impressed by them. It is such hard work. We finally turned the heat on and that has made a great difference in the house. I hate to turn it on before Oct 15 and I did not but darn it got cold in the house. Now I am watching game 7 between the Atlanta Braves and the LA Dodgers. This will determine who goes to the World Series to play about the Tampa Bay Rays.

Chris so sorry your sleep is so messed up. I am like Trudy up once at night to go to the bathroom but then I usually can go back to sleep. I have been so tired lately that even when my kitty jumps on me I don't really wake up. I too have been having strange dreams. Dreamt that I saw a battleship and realized it needed to have wooden decks. I have no idea where that came from. That is awesome about the FB have meat for you. And riding with your daughter and talking has to be awesome.

Trudy that is great you went swimming and it felt safe! Glad the grands are doing well. And good luck with the yard clean up. What did you MG think about Joe Thornton going to Toronto Maple Leafs? I would like to see him win a Cup just not with the Maple Leafs.

Cheryl those photos are awesome from your hike. That painted rocks - wonder if in the future people will look at them as we look at pictographs. Sure looks like a lot of fun. Also that is a lot of food to eat but I guess playing football takes lots of calories. And we had MickyD's on Sat too. I still love their burgers and fries.

Rae hope you got out and did not over do it. It must be hard though to not do any thing for so long. Loving the photos of birds again.

Have a great day all.

Nancy, your weather is just a little bit cooler than ours. I need to look that show up. Sounds kind of good. We're always looking for something to watch. The kids came over tonight and we all watched "The Social Dilemma" on Netflix. It was mind-bending! Really made us all think - it's very worth watching! We're all ready to give up all social media. :boink:

I'm so glad you enjoyed my rock pictures. They're so fascinating! It was so worth climbing over guard rails and hiking through the fields. Micky D's will always be good - always has and I'm counting on it not. LOL Yes, that's a lot of food and he put it away so fast. Haha
