*throws self on the ground in a full-blown tantrum*
How in the world is it November!? Why is it so cold? I don't like it when DST ends!

OK. I am better, got that out of my system *for now*
:D

Talk to me in a few hours when I am working outside in the cold and windy weather.

Did everyone have a nice Halloween? Lots of Trick or Treaters? We had more this year than we had in the past several. Maybe 15-20 kids? Last year, we had one. I'd rather have fewer kids than what my coworker deals with. She was telling me that the police close off her street and it is non-stop. She bought $50 worth of candy at Costco and once it's gone, she turns the lights off. Apparently, a lot of her neighbors spend much more, which is crazy to me! We only get neighborhood kids which is fine. I sound like an old cranky lady, but when parents are driving their kids in from another town and the police have to close roads and direct traffic, that's too much.

On a non-cranky note, the field trip was great! The weather cooperated and we were able to be outside aside from lunch. My topic was Art in Nature and using our senses to look and listen for things that are artistic. We made journey sticks in the morning and nature art painting in the afternoon.

I am leading a forest bathing group this morning. Weis is hosting the Scouts for a Badge Fair. As a thank you, we are offering the session for the parents whose kids are attending. I checked the weather and the real feels--- in the 30s this morning.

As soon as I get home, I need to get ready for my SisILs birthday party. *all of my fingers and toes are crossed that Gary is feeling good enough to go*

Time to sign off, do quick perosnals, and get layered up (and up!) for work.

xoxoxo

Good morning. I'm glad that I'm here @faerywings to keep you from talking to yourself. :lol23: I don't know why I found that so funny?!! But I did.
because we *are* funny, dammit! :lol23:
Then the entire day is free. Well, maybe not free. I have lots that needs to get done around here. But at least nowhere that I need to be at a certain time.
Uh-huh. And how did that go? *winks*

I'm here, too, @faerywings and @LSlycord!!! :grape:
Yay!! Gonna dance along with you! :bouncing:
ooops-- wrong kind of dancing. Here I go!
:bunny:

That is such a smart idea to have the reflective numbers on the curbs. I don't know if this is required everywhere but in my town - probably all of NJ? - we have to have a reflective number on our house for emergency services. But I love the idea of it being on the curbs to make it easier to see when you are driving. Not that my town has many curbs, however. No sidewalks either, aside from a few developments. We do have electricity and indoor plumbing so we are not completely backwater hahahah!
Gotta ask-- how many CPs did you do this month?

Happy Halloween, everyone who celebrates. Not to excited this year either. It's hard to get excited when you have to get around in a walker and not even having a party...no decorations out but Jay did buy candy. There are not many kids around so not a big deal. I'm looking forward to seeing pics of my son and his family. They always dress up and go to party. Older Grandchildren don't do much so it's not such a great holiday for us.
How was the family party? Hope to see pictures!
That is so exciting about the kitchen stuff getting ordered and ready to be ordered. Everything sounds lovely. What was the final decision on the color?
Did I read before that your daughter and SIL are buying a house???
No such luck. Caitlyn and Gary went to look at an open house a couple of weeks ago but she and Tom never went back with the realtor (my other Sis in L :D). I forgot to ask why they didn't. There is just nothing in the area that is affordable. :(

@LSlycord Glad you were here yesterday Linda. Kept Chris from talking to herself. And yes, I laughed at your comments too cause I can see it happening!!! I know I talk to myself all the time. Only way to make sure I get the answers I want. :floorlaugh:
You made me LMBO. 100% with ya!
You always doubt (stop that!) and then it turns into such a wonderful trip for all who went.
I know, I do that every time. Yet once I get going, it is fine.
Where's my snow????
KEEP IT BY YOU. (Please :praying2:)

Don't worry -- I'm alive. October has been insane with travel, breaking down appliances, lots of trail issues, and I don't know what all else. But I popped in today to look at the Color Play, and I'm going to make an effort to do challenges in November.
Whew!! There you are!! I truly hope that November is much calmer month and that you have plenty of time to relax and scrap!

Kay--14 CP LOs???
:thud:

Got back from AL at 1:30 Thursday morning. Mark wanted to drive during the night to avoid traffic. We did, but he had to deal with the rain the whole way home! I don't know which is worse!
Anyway, we slept in until about 8:30 yesterday. I worked on "stuff" and he went to the woods, lol! Imagine that!
Welcome back hOme!
Glad you made it home safely. me-- I'd take traffic in the daylight. So would everyone else on the roads with me. I can't see at night and the rain would make it so much worse.

Asher must be funny when he is whining for dinner. Jaida finds her bowls and runs around with it like Snoopy. :D

That you in the photo, @tanteva :flyingwitch: :giggle4:

hugs!!

Good morning. I'm right there with you @faerywings! I do not understand how it could be November? But to end 2025 which has been a terrible year, we need to get through November and December, so :multitasking: here we go! I have a second cup of coffee and I'm ready to face the day!:coffeedrinker:I suspect we might need two pots of coffee to get through the day. Brian is hitting it pretty hard already too.

Yay!! Gonna dance along with you! :bouncing:

Have to do another happy dance as October was a much more "normal" CT month... I did 14 Color Play LOs using 7 bundles (2 LOs per bundle). I would have done more but there wasn't enough time (and gallery space - 5 uploads per day) as there was only the 1 day left in the month once they were released. I have 1 more CP LO done for a Nov challenge and may do 1-2 more since the CP sale is on until Monday. ;)

Boy... am I glad I wasn't doing the candy give-away last night... peeked out the window to see several cars arriving filled with kids (not from our neighborhood) !!! And heard them talking as they walked past the house until well after 9PM!!!

On a non-cranky note, the field trip was great! The weather cooperated and we were able to be outside aside from lunch. My topic was Art in Nature and using our senses to look and listen for things that are artistic. We made journey sticks in the morning and nature art painting in the afternoon.
How cool the way these kids are getting a chance to appreciate nature! And I would love to try a forest bath sometime. But I guess it may wait for spring now. And, I just spent 10 minutes looking for forest bathing near me. Lots of new places that I am following on Facebook. This is why I never get anything done...I'm always going down a rabbit hole. And where did that expression come from anyway, No Linda, you aren't going to look that up now!:bunny:

I'm here, too, @faerywings and @LSlycord!!! :grape: I was woken up by what I thought was the doorbell at 7AM...made a dash to the front door...no one was there. Finally realized (an hour later) that it had been my cell phone chiming. My doorbell plays music... The guys who are painting the reflection house numbers on the curbs will be here today so I thought it was them at the door... Nope... I really want/need the reflecting number as the house address number is very hard to see especially at night. Had it at our previous house so glad to get it done at this house.
Oh Kay, that made me think. We do NOT have any house numbers painted on our curbs. Not even non-reflective. That is something that our neighborhood should check into. Another item for Linda to stress over! But very important!
Whew... managed to get all 14 Color Play LOs loaded (5 LOs per day on Wed-Thurs and 4 LOs today) in the gallery and around digi-land. And loaded into the October Color Play post. Now to take a quick look around the forum to make sure I finished the October challenges that I planned on doing. Seems like October flew by and here it is the last day of the month.
14 Color Plays! How in the world did you do that! You are the Queen!:bowdown3::crown1:

Got back from AL at 1:30 Thursday morning. Mark wanted to drive during the night to avoid traffic. We did, but he had to deal with the rain the whole way home! I don't know which is worse!

That is such a two edged sword. I love to be able to avoid the traffic but I hate driving at night. Well, let's face it, Brian is doing the driving on anything like that. But I hate watching him do the driving at night. The car that was totaled in February had LED lights and I loved that. Now that I've had cataract surgery, I bet that would be really great. Glad you made it home safely whenever you were driving.

Good morning @tanteva. What a sweet little witch!

We had frost on our roof this morning! Besides the other places! I used my seat heater this morning when I went to get the groceries! Hope your forest bathing is warmer than expected!

I warned him early that if we traveled at night he was on his own with the driving! Even with less traffic, the low grumblings from his side of the car continued throughout the trip! If he hit the rumble strips, that was the only time I dared to look his way! ;)

I don't like it when parents bring their kids out of their neighborhoods to t-or-t! But, what can you do?

Me, too! On all accounts.....driving at night vision, 2-edged sword, he drives!

Linda... I am so glad that our street is getting the curb reflective addresses done. Even with the big street light across the road from my house, it is hard to see the house address.

As for getting the CP LOs done... being on the Creative Team and getting early access to some of the Color Play bundles helps.... plus there is no one else living here so I can work on them as long as I want.

Good morning,
I've done a day's worth of work already! But still have more to do, LOL!
Mark is in the woods with his step son. He had to travel about 30 minutes to get him. They stopped at Mikey D's for breakfast and brought an egg McMuffin back to me, which was nice!
I left after he did to pick up the groceries. Made a stop at CVS while out. Got back and had the groceries put away and started sweeping when they pulled in.
After sweeping, which included under the dining room table (the spiders are not happy with me now, LOL), I dusted some of the furniture. This is the absolute dustiest house I have ever lived in!
Now I have laundry going.
I think I want to do the 30 Days of Gratitude challenge for November. I'm just trying to decide how to do it. I guess I will google to get some ideas. I have a picture for today, so I will begin with that at least.
Maybe I will begin a 30 Days thread. I'll let you know.
Have a good one!

Good Morning!

She was telling me that the police close off her street and it is non-stop. She bought $50 worth of candy at Costco and once it's gone, she turns the lights off. Apparently, a lot of her neighbors spend much more, which is crazy to me!
We have a neighborhood like that, thankfully not mine. I've heard most spend $100 on candy because everyone goes to that neighborhood. Its one of the only walkable ones where you can actually go from house to house. We had 3 trick or treaters LOL My grands stopped by and were absolutely adorable. I had a vampire, ninja and Ariel (little mermaid).
Not that my town has many curbs, however. No sidewalks either, aside from a few developments. We do have electricity and indoor plumbing so we are not completely backwater hahahah!
:floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: :floorlaugh: If youre "not completely backwater, what am I? Our roads dirt, not even a ditch, and by no means can you see the house let alone IF we were to have house numbers. Yep, I'll take backwater :floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Chris, please send me back the cold weather. How dare you steal it. Its high 30's here and raining! its so gross.

You know what today should be??? New AJ thread :heartpumppink::love::heartpumppink: Have company coming this weekend but we shall see what happens and if I can get any scrapping done. I didn't get last months finished and that annoys me but oh well, it happens.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Wow Everyone is making Color Play pages but I do think @BrightEyes is the winner. I made and posted one too. First page I posted since surgery so I hope to do a few more pages tomorrow. Last night I slept in bed for just over 4 hours then my knee was hurting so I came out to the recliner to sleep a few more hours. PT is bothering my knee which will have to deal with that repair in the fall.
Hubby worked in office at club today so I had house to myself for 2 hours. I read, put clothes away, cleaned my bathroom...can you tell I am better. It's a slow process having to get around with a walker though.
Friends came over to bring us cod and cheese they got a the restaurant depot in Largo...always the best fish!!! Jay cooked some tonight and made a salad....best dinner. Fish and Salad.

@faerywings your crazy busy life...but outside work now must be uncomfortable and getting colder---brrr. Well I hope your daughter and hubby can find a house they love. and can making into a home.
We finally chose dark grey maple cabinets. The finish is painted with a weathered-aged look- shaker style. We added a few more cabinets so it should have less cabinet crowding.

All the house numbers in our community must be large and very visible on the the house. They went around last year giving citations to people who did not comply....come on people its for your safety. I love the idea of the # on the curbs.

We didn't have any trick or treaters unlike all of you that had so many...so much fun. DD had some at their new house so she was happy to meet some of the neighbors and were invited to join in their driveway cocktail parties. DS and family had a blast Reed was Elvis...a 10 year old fan...LOL.

@vickyday I saw your cabin LO in the gallery but need to find it again to leave a comment...how cool is that little place to escape to. He did a great job and it looks like you are enjoying it.

Yes! We are really enjoying the porch on the cabin!
Are you saying you are looking at knee replacement in the fall?

Am I allowed one more whine sesh over the time change?
:crying1:

I forced myself to stay in bed this morning until the official time turned to 6 am. I was wide awake for over an hour at that point. I attempted to stay awake a little later than usual to offset my sleep cycle, but it obviously didn't work. I was exhausted by the end of yesterday.

I got to work and the parking lot was packed with people signing in for the Badge Fair. My coworker suggested that I park at his house (he lives on site behind our main building). Awesome idea, except the dirt road that leads to his house is blocked by a downed tree. I park next to the tree, run up to the main building to let him know, when he tells me that there is no power. No power, no water = no bathrooms. For 70-ish people that I could tell, some of the Scouts were al; already at their Badge Stations. We tried to move the tree out of the way, but nope. Not happening. He tried to get a generator for the water pump. No luck there either. Utter madness!
I had three people join me for the hike and they were super into it. They *loved* smelling the sassafras leaves. (Who wouldn;'t, they smell so good!) I was only planning on out for an hour but they were enjoying themselves. I asked if they wanted to go faster or stay at the rate we were at and they were happy with the pace. We got back to the building at 11, and there still wasn't any power. I felt terrible about leaving but if I didn't get home and then to my brother's in time, he would have had my head! :knifehead:

Gary wasn't able to make it and I hate driving in the dark, so I left around 6, made it home by 7. Watched some TV with Gary and then collapsed.

Today is going to be a catch-up on life kind of day.
I'll need more coffee. Lots and lots!

:coffeedrinker:

My goodness, I was all over the place in that post!
Hope you were able to make sense out of what I wrote. I am not sure I can, and I lived it and typed it! :floorlaugh:

Good morning. I'm right there with you @faerywings! I do not understand how it could be November? But to end 2025 which has been a terrible year, we need to get through November and December, so :multitasking: here we go! Yes, yes, and YES (to the more coffee)
:hug3:
I did 14 Color Play LOs
My goodness! :jawdrop3:

And I would love to try a forest bath sometime. But I guess it may wait for spring now. And, I just spent 10 minutes looking for forest bathing near me.
You can do it on your own if you want to. There are a lot of blog posts and podcasts on how to do it, but basically, you turn your phone off, do some deep breathing to open your senses, and then go. If you have a park nearby or even just trees in your backyard- quiet your mind and look closely at things, touch the grass or moss. Smell the dead leaves or soil. People are amazed when I suggest that they get up close to the tree bark and notice alllll of the shades of brown and grey and green and red in it. Then I have them touch the bark -- it might be smooth, furrowed, chunky, scaly, peeling, mossy etc. Just spending 15 minutes with a tree brings down your cortisol levels and blood pressure and increases your serotonin and dopamine.
Even when I am leading the walk (very different than experiencing it, if that makes sense), I feel so much better. More grounded, calmer, happier.
If you try it, let me know how it goes!

We had frost on our roof this morning! Besides the other places! I used my seat heater this morning when I went to get the groceries! Hope your forest bathing is warmer than expected!
Same here, so cold! And yes!! I love that this new-to-me car has heated seats. ♥
As for getting the CP LOs done... being on the Creative Team and getting early access to some of the Color Play bundles helps.... plus there is no one else living here so I can work on them as long as I want.
You are still a scrapping maniac like Vicky said! :giggle4:
And I saw your latest one at the bottom of this thread, another dark and beautiful page! And is that #15???
I think I want to do the 30 Days of Gratitude challenge for November. I'm just trying to decide how to do it. I guess I will google to get some ideas. I have a picture for today, so I will begin with that at least.
Maybe I will begin a 30 Days thread. I'll let you know.
I saw that you started the thread! :highfive:
I'd love to say that I will join in but I know that I won't be able to finish it and then feel bad. I tried P365 and P52 so many times and never got past the end of January.
We had 3 trick or treaters LOL My grands stopped by and were absolutely adorable. I had a vampire, ninja and Ariel (little mermaid).
They sound adorable!! Did you get photos?

Soooo happy to hear that you are making some progress with your hip. Not happy that you might need your knee repaired.
The grey maple cabinets sound gorgeous!

I should get that coffee and start my grocery order.

Love and hugs!!

Good morning. I woke up at 4...and then stayed in bed until 5. I had forgotten that it was Fall Back Sunday. That has always been my favorite day since I started working. Today, it really is just another day. Life is so odd.

My niece got Thanksgiving planned. She and her husband are hosting. Everyone is bringing something. Sydney and I have seven items. It started with three. But by the time that we got finished, we had seven. That's ok...it really is much easier than if we were hosting and doing everything so it will be good. And it will be different than what we have done in the past...and that is good too because this will be a hard one for everyone.

I actually got my first November challenge done yesterday so that feels good. Now I need to do the work to make sure that it is loaded in all of the right places and tagged correctly. But I feel like I almost have a rhythm going. Until the next unexpected event (life) comes along and disrupts the rhythm. :rolleyes1: Need another cup of coffee and I will be back for personals.

Ok. I'm back with :coffeedrinker:and I'm ready to go...

I'm going to try it. I read a little bit about it. We have lots of trees in our area. I think that I will try a short one this week and then I think that I'll get Sydney to do one with me over Thanksgiving. I am excited about this!

I think I want to do the 30 Days of Gratitude challenge for November. I'm just trying to decide how to do it. I guess I will google to get some ideas. I have a picture for today, so I will begin with that at least.

Ok...like Chris, I have tried P52 and P365 more times than I can count. I always have such good intentions and know that I can do it this time!:rolleyes1: Well, I am doing the 30 Days of Gratitude Challenge...and again, I know that I can do it this time!!! Thanks for getting this started Vicky!

You know what today should be??? New AJ thread :heartpumppink::love::heartpumppink: Have company coming this weekend but we shall see what happens and if I can get any scrapping done. I didn't get last months finished and that annoys me but oh well, it happens.
My new rules...I'm not getting annoyed when I don't get something done. I just push it to a new day. Or leave it off the list completely and start fresh. Let's see how long that lasts! I don't expect it to last long but I'm not going to get upset about that either. And, I think that I am going to try at least one AJ challenge this month. It's not quite my style but I'm going to give it a whirl!
We finally chose dark grey maple cabinets. The finish is painted with a weathered-aged look- shaker style. We added a few more cabinets so it should have less cabinet crowding.
That sounds gorgeous! I am so envious! I haven't had a kitchen as tiny as this since I had my first apartment. But I'm back in Iowa and I'm happy to be back so I can make the kitchen work. And I know that walker must be driving you crazy. Brian was in a wheelchair for 2 months and then another month with the walker then graduated to a cane for a couple of months. He was so grateful when he could walk unassisted again.

@BrightEyes waving good morning!

Have a very good day all!

Morning, all. Decided to change the clocks back early last evening so I wouldn't forget to do them. I ended up reading until 10:30 as the clock said it was only 9:30!!! :floorlaugh: Turns out I missed changing my watch... and the time on the landline phones. Will get that done soon. The fall back time change isn't as hard on the body/mind as the spring ahead change is.

I will be busy in the kitchen today. Going to be making a big pot of enchiladas sauce and maybe making Apple Brown Betty desert. The enchiladas sauce takes about 3 hours so getting it done a day early and then freeze several tubs for future meals. DSon-in-law#1 will be coming here tomorrow and spending Monday night before he heads to Fort Stockton on Tuesday to do kids' eye clinic. I will have him and grandson for Monday night's supper. I would rather spend time visiting with him rather than spend it in the kitchen cooking. :D

@faerywings So sorry about the loss of power at Weis with so many people there for the Scout event... And yikes... a tree falling across the road. That must have been quite a storm. Glad everyone understood and took it in stride.

@AK_Tracy I was waiting.. like you were... for the Art Journaling Week1 to be posted. Yes... I am going to try to do all this month's challenges. I really like the "Savor" theme so hope to get all 4 LOs done.

@vickyday I love your AJ week 1 LO.... it looks so cozy sitting around the fire pit at the cabin. Great journaling. Saw the daily challenge you started. I don't take many photos so will have to pass on it.

@BoatLady so glad to see you popping back in. Yes, getting around on the walker can be the pits but it keeps you steady and hopefully safe from fall. And even though PT is a challenge, it will get your body back to normal. :hug3:

@LSlycord sounds like you are adjusting to 'retired" life. Glad another family member is hosting the Thanksgiving meal. WOW... if everyone prepares that many dishes to share... it will be a huge meal!!!

Off to get dressed and do a few chores before I start cooking. HAGD

Kay, it doesn't have to be with photos. You can do it in any style!

Good Dark Morning all!! The sun wont show for another hour.

They sound adorable!! Did you get photos?
ummmmmmm Faery, thats a silly question!! Of course I got photos!!! Only about 30 of them though. :giggle4:

So, Just over a year and a half ago,I felt the same way about AJ. Had never ever tried it before. Like they all told me, just try it. You'll be amazed and before long you will be addicted and stalking poor @pachimac Susie to see when she starts the thread for the month. Such a wonderful way to let things go and just create. I cant wait to see what you create this month. It will be amazing. Some of my first LO were bad and way to literal and some where way over explained instead of letting them speak for themselves. But they were authentic and that is all that matters. The best part of AJ (besides the amazing ladies) is there is no "style", you just create whatever your heart says.
I will have him and grandson for Monday night's supper. I would rather spend time visiting with him rather than spend it in the kitchen cooking. :D
Oh this will be fun! And I bet they will love the enchiladas. One day you will have to write down your process for making the sauce so others can duplicate it ;)

Yesterday got away from me. When I looked at the crack of 8 a.m. it wasn't posted and then I never made it back. I cant wait to go see it and the layouts you ladies have already done.

I dont know what I did but my neck pain is off the charts. It hurt so bad yesterday I was crying. Couldn't move without stabbing pain that took me out. No, never saw chiropractor the other day, they were sick and so it was cancelled. I've never had pain like this. It hurt to move. No matter what motion I made it was stabbing and like my head was gonna fall off my neck if I didn't hold it in place. Lots of heating pad, Advil and hubs pressing hard on my muscles. Will repeat today. Its not as bad but still there. Simply rolling over in bed was torture. I cant even describe the pain. Almost like someone hit me with a 2x4 that had a knife attached that then becomes a vice grip on max pressure. Its been hurting for a month but not to the degree I couldn't ignore it. Well, its not being ignored now. Hopefully more heat and massage will help loosen the muscles. I think they are just so tight (no idea why more than normal) and pulling things out of wack.

Well, I'm up early like most of you. But the dogs are confused. They want breakfast now. Everyone is up so feed us. LOL. Off to grab more coffee. Have a wonderful day.

Hi everyone!
We went to Ace Hardware this morning and told hubby that one sign that we are getting old is we enjoy going to the hardware at opening time and be back home before lunch because I want to take a nap. Lol!
I hope the cold is not too much wherever you are. We are around 90-100 so here we call it "almost winter" haha!
Have a wonderful week!

YUCK to your 90-100 degrees!
It's funny how getting older changes your perspective on different things in life! We enjoy not moving from the couch and/or recliner on our Sunday afternoons!
Hope you have a wonderful week, too!

Good afternoon!
Hope everyone is having a restful Sunday afternoon!
The weather is beautiful again today, but the weather news is saying there is to be rain later today. We shall see!
I have some pages done that I need to get posted "around town" this afternoon. I want to work on another challenge today, too.
Speaking of challenges, read Day 2 info on my 30 Days of Gratitude for more information and ideas. NO
PHOTOS REQUIRED!!

Talk about a turn-around... It is 74* and still climbing!!! Night time down to 45* (last night was in the mid-30's. Wouldn't you know it...this morning I had changed the down-comforter in place of the light blanket before I saw the forecast for warmer night temps!!! :thud:We are having a spell of Indian Summer for this week. Seems crazy to have the house wide-open to get the inside temp close to outside temp...

I spent a few hours cooking in the kitchen this morning. Yep... enchiladas sauce all done and had it for lunch. YUMMY!!! Put the remainder in a big covered bowl in the fridge. Will take some out for supper tomorrow then divvy-up the remainder into freezer tubs. By the time I got the sauce done - my back was yelling at me so I didn't make the dessert.

As I take after my grandmother when cooking - especially enchiladas sauce... I am a look, smell, taste cook. Don't measure but go by how it looks, smell and taste... and adjust seasonings as it cooks. Told all my family... if they want to learn how I make the sauce... they had to be with me and watch...(look smell and taste) when I make it. :D:floorlaugh: BTW... you have to have New Mexico Chili Powder for the authentic flavor.

Glad to see you here. Yep... like to do my shopping early in the day and be home by noon. I own up to being "old", too. BTW, are you living in Dubi??? Hubby and I spent an over-night there going from Singapore back to Cairo, Egypt many years ago. He bought me the most beautiful silk sari in the bazaar. I made it into one of my favorite ball gown.

HI Everyone,
We picked up this new Ninja cooker, called the "Possible Cooker". Kind of like a crock pot, but kind of like an all in one that also bakes, steams, about 8 other features. Tonight I made chicken and vegetables, and it came out pretty good for using it pretty much the first time!

For the time change today, we slept every minute of that extra hour. Since our travel last week, then rolling into a busy work week, I didn't get much rest last week. I enjoyed sleeping in and having some extra quiet time yesterday and today. Tonight the dogs were demanding dinner at 4:30, and the rest of us are ready for bed now. It feels so ridiculous, especially with all that extra sleep this morning!

@BrightEyes new mexican mexican food is the best ever. Posole has got to be my favorite mexican dish, and adding green salsa to just about anything is heaven. My Aunt from ABQ used it make it from scratch, peeling her own dried chiles and everything. When we were in San Diego, there was a local New Mexican Mexican restaurant where we could get the authentic dishes. It was so good.

@faerywings I love reading about the forest bathing. Even reading about it there is a wash of peace over me.

@AK_Tracy, @pachimac @Cherylndesigns maybe THIS will be month to get some AJ projects done. Every month the intention is there - but haven't done anything in quite some time! You all are inspirations.

@BoatLady glad to hear you're on the mend from your surgery!

Have a great evening everyone!
