I was going to post in the weekend Oo's, but I guess is isn't really a weekend any more.
I did get to sleep a bit later today (6:30 am!) but it is freezing here right now.I wish I was back in my warm bed with all the pets laying on top of me.

I need to get some more coffee, can I get any for you? We have Merkee's secret recipe of calorie free muffins and coffee cake too (it was Merkee that always made that for us right?)

How many of you are off today? No school for us here, but bright and early again tomorrow,

I hear ya Chris.....I was thinking the same thing about the weekend O's!!

We are off here today...YIPEEE...but I was up at the same time as you!! 6:30...but given the LACK of sleep the two nights before, I passed out on the couch about 10 last night....dragged off to bed by 11 and slept pretty hard all night!! YAY FOR ME!!!

I WILL BE HAVING SOME OF THAT COFFEE AND MUFFINS PLEASE!!!! and THANK YOU!!!!

We are going to do a little yard work today, and then this afternoon it's RELAXING TIME for Nana and Pawpaw!!! YIPEEE!!

Yesterday I was cleaning and scrapping, cleaning and scrapping...HAHAHA I would mop the floor, come scrap a page, clean the bathroom, come scrap a page!! I did this all day!! HAHAHA!!! It's like I could not keep cleaning unless I REFUELED by creating!!! :D

Mike did not get home until 8...I ordered pizza....So I did not have to mess up my clean kitchen :D although, this is the ONE room in my house that stays clean mostly...I am so dang obsessive about it!!!

Okay...going to drink coffee with my BIG Baby...It's quiet here!!!!
 
morning all my O fam! I slept well, actually turned the AC on for a bit- got warm inside, too much pollen and dust to let the cool air in. I had coffee, quiet time, have rebooted the laundry, done one kitchen cleanup, walked 2 miles, used the bowflex for legs and now, I need to hit the showers- I love using a list!!
 
Chris - :tea: Lovin' the coffee this morning :) I'm off today .... well I'm always off on Monday's .... the diner is closed on Monday!! :) But it is also a holiday for us here today, so my sweetie is home too!!
Back to school here tomorrow!!! :ohwell: Which just makes me sad ... I will miss my babies, and well, where the heck did the summer go??

Linda, that's about the same thing I did yesterday, except I cleaned all 3 bathrooms, Peter did the kitchen and Danielle did garbages, and then I scrapped and played the rest of the day!! :)

Laurie ... :whoo:Sounds like a productive morning so far!! Hope you get time to play now :) :becky:

Seriously, how is it already time for the girls to go back to school :hurt: The only positive thing, is Mya is really really excited about starting JK, but she doesn't start until next Monday, so it should be interesting to see how this week goes with Danielle and Olivia going everyday and her still having to go to the babysitters!! :twitch:

We did end up taking the girls to the drive in last night .... stay tuned for a few pictures ... possibly a layout :) We saw ... Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galor :pound: it was a great movie. Kept all 4 girls entertained, plus there were some cute chuckles for Peter and I too :) I :love: family time!!

Today, have to work on the last of getting ready for school and well scrapping!! :) And playing here as much as possible!!
 
Chris -- pass me some muffins!!! Oh, and I need to send you a PM later today asking about your soap ingredients to make sure I'm not allergic.

Nana Linda -- Have fun with the yard work!! That's a little bit harder to take scrapping breaks with :)

Laurie -- Wow!! You've been busy!! Sounds like I need you to whip me into shape & burn more calories...

Krista -- Good luck getting your family ready for school!!! I know that first week can be really hectic.

Ok -- On to meeee....

I woke up at 3:34am, with a MASSIVE allergy attack -- sneezing non-stop! Luckily, my hubby went on his break around 3:45, so when I texted him that I was awake he was able to call me and we talked for a bit. Then, I was able to fall back to sleep -- well, after leaving my mark in the gallery!

Now I'm in bed, about to hit the shower. I think I might try to get some yard work done, clearing the way for our chicken coop & run. Depends on if I can enlist my mother in law and find some allergy medication!

Hey ladies! I hope everyone had a good weekend although I'm with all of you...summer went by so fast and I spent so much of it in the car. But it has been a pretty good summer even with the move. We are starting to get settled in although I'm starting to think we should just leave some of our stuff in the boxes and use it as decor. I'm tired of unpacking. And to think we might be doing this again in a year? Uh...maybe not.

So, the day the movers came we met some of the neighbors and I saw some kids playing across the street and sent Ethan off to meet them. He's been having a blast with them since. This weekend we took them to play laser tag and it was great. The kids mom came too so i got to get to know her and her husband also. The neighbors here all seem really nice. That will make life much easier.

So one not so great thing here is that Addie keeps running off. In WA she would always run to the neighbor's house, well now she keeps running off across the street. Today I went and bought one of those door alarms so that she can't sneak out any more. I hope that works. So, I still don't have Internet but I'm hopefully going to get it set up this week along with cable. It will be awesome having a regular life again. I can't wait. We're so close now. Yay!

Chris and Linda - I don't know how you guys can function getting up so early. I couldn't handle that.

Chris - I say go back to bed in your warm snuggly bed. If you don't I might just head on back to my bed just because.

Linda - I hope you and mike get some good relaxation time today.

Laurie - you are quite productive today. I don't think a list would ever help me accomplish that much.

Krista - I know what you mean about school starting. Ethan starts school tomorrow only he'll be staying home for school this year and I think I am more nervous about it than he is. But what does he have to be nervous about?

Meg - I was posting while you were it looks like. I hope your allergies get better soon. I have been there and it sucks bad.
 
Seriously guys - reading all that Krista does and she has kids at home- I'm so getting stuff done today, laundry is done, onions are carmalizing- love to cook when I am not at work- if i can get dh to agree to something more than 30 min before he wants to eat. Bills are paid- and budget for this week figured, two quick cards made- will be uploading to gallery and my blog today.

Clara- hope the alarm works for you

Meg- good luck with those allergies- shower when you come in or at least before bed to get the pollens out of your hair so you don't breathe it all night- I'm working hard at dropping the 5 pounds I put on over vacation before we go to a wedding at the end of the month.

As far as summer ending and school starting- the really sucky thing about my job after I moved to OH-I don't get a summer long summer vacation- it really messes with my mind as I had one for the first 44 years of my life.
 
Just dropping in for a few minutes. Got up at 6:30. We've been sleeping with the windows open...no bad allergies here (knock on wood) so I've been enjoying that treat. Air conditioner is on now...it's supposed to hit 89 today! Crazy weather. Then back into the 70's tomorrow. Sounds like it will be warm enough that the kids can stay in shorts for another week.

I love 3 day weekends...I'm thinking that I could get used to this! Have read books with the kids this morning, played word games and math games. So feeling pretty good about that. And we had eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and french toast for breakfast! Mama was rocking the kitchen! :-)

Now, need to make a Costco run and do a little picking up. Also need to get some cardstock to print the awesome card that was inspired by Sue's challenge.

Sounds like everyone has a good day planned today. Hope they all turn out wonderfully!
 
wow!! You girlies are soooo active on a LABOR day holiday!! :)

me...not so much...I know, you are shocked!! BUT Mr Gorgeous didn't want to do anything today, so we dissapointed both his parents and my mom with the news that we weren't having anyone over and we weren't going anywhere today! :) no briskets, no barbeques, no pool party, no nothin'...so to appease my mom, we invited her over last night for grilled fajitas and sent our two little girlies home with her to spend the day with her today (and night last night!) AND we invited MrGorgeous' parents over for that same very yummmmy dinner last night and they stayed and visited for a long time last night. It was nice...

and so today?? I can do whatever I want to...anything...whatever...or nothing! So right now, I choose to scrap all afternoon, and I may quilt tonight..although I'm kinda thinking Krista is gonna pop in here later and suck me in to more late night scrapping!! ohhhhh I love love love it!!

So off to Photoshop!! I'll be here if you need me!!

Just finished the "spring" cleaning in the girls bedrooms ... lol ... a little late!!

Another afternoon guilt free now :)

Going to go vaccum one last bedroom ... then shower ... then hang with my Texan BFF!!

Tonight .... TBones on the BBQ ... sooooo yummy ... and garlic mashed potatoes ... ohhh which means I have to throw the garlic in the oven to roast it :) MMMMM MMMMM MMMM!!! :) So excited for dinner!!
 
WOOOOO HOOOOO!!! Yard work is done...bedrooms are clean and the grill is drying out where we just scrubbed it and got all the YUCK off....heading to the shower in a few.....My dear husband has some Coors Light and a Michelob Ultra chilling on ice...the steaks are thawed and the salad is about to be prepared....DINNER is at 6...and NO ONE IS INVITED :heh:

This has been a great day so far!! I have a movie picked out for tonight!! and Mike is going to the grocery store to get us some kind of yummy sweet delight to eat later!! Kroger has a fabulous Bakery!!!!

HEY...........am I having a date today/tonight??? :biggrin::biggrin: Been so long, I coudln't tell for sure!! LOVE MY GRANDBABIES...but................this is nice too!!
 
I've been scrapping a storm, enough play time though- I need to get going on paperwork- avoided it last weekend and so far this weekend- I don't want to get behind again!

Clara....YAY for good neighbors!! I am so happy for you sweetie!! Oh what do we do with our little Addie!! My heart is still pounding when she ran away at the beach!!! The alarm is a fab idea!!!

Sally.....YAY for MG and giving you the day off!!! Seriously...YOU NEED to do that more often!! You need to regroup!!! ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Krista.....I need to spring clean myself!! I am planning a couple of days off from babysitting very very soon...and that is exactly what it's going to be for!!! YAY for getting things done!! YUMMY dinner plans!!

Just got all of the yard work done!! We still need to chop up all of the clippings to fit into the bin, but it's time for a lunch break!

We've pretty much cleared the space for the chicken coop -- and I discovered that my in-laws have plywood we can use to build the coop. It's looking like their donated wood, plus wood from church friends, we're only going to need a few more 2x4's, maybe another sheet of plywood, and wire/mesh for the chicken run. Goal is to have it built next week, but we're getting the chicks this week to raise them up in a box on my desk. They need feathers before they can go outside.

Dont worry, there will definitely be photos and LOs!!

Surprisingly, my allergies aren't bothering me!! ugh, why did they at 3am?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Even my cough has died down.

Now it's time for me to get some work done, write up a blog post debuting my new phone number for my business, & maybe scrap a few more pages for the wedding album!
