GoooooOd morning O-zies!
I am very happy this morning. I survived the party which was nice, even if expected. But even better, it made me happy to have everyone here. Sooo, so happy. The only people who were able to make it were my nephew (goes to Pitt - 8 hours away, so gets a pass) and my niece (working 12 hours days and it was her only day off - also gets a pass). My niece who is at school 2 hours away-- she drove up here just for the party. I thought she was home for the weekend, but nope- she just wanted to be with us. She brought one of her friends and she seemed really nice- she is a zoological science major- how neat is that?
Tom seemed like he was having a good time and I asked him how it was going and he thinks that my family is one of the most welcoming that he had ever met. To top it off, Sam and Ian did show up. She had requested that no one say anything so I had emailed my fam to not ask her how she was or say they were sorry. She needed few hours to not think about it. She texted us all later on to say thank you for letting her have some time of normalcy. I am happy that I was able to give her that.
Right now, the house is pretty quiet, the kids are sleeping, Caitlyn doesn't have any morning meetings and I bet that she is happy about that. I have some dishes that need to be hand-washed, and the dishwasher needs to be run. I also must catch up on some stuff that I put off last week since I was busy with the house/food.
Thank you for listening to me stress over something that didn't need to be stressed over!
Have a fab day!
