Well, i was able to pull is off last week, but today, not so much. No yelling of Happy Monday for me. I am pretty danged tire (yeah, so what else is new) and I have to go food shopping today, I have been trying to find a way out of it, but not going to happen. I just have to suck it up. Thank goodness for :tea:
Can I make that my new acronym? TGFC?

It seems like all of you have really fun weekends. I think that might be why I am dragging a bit today. Just kind of boring. Lots of house work, yard work. A tiny bit of scrapping but not enough to say I had fun and relaxed a while....

So for Me Me Monday. I have got to take some time today to sit down and scrap. Or at least hit the gallery.

Trudy- can you send YMG over here? Mine is a slob!!!

Meg- *shudders* In case you haven't noticed I am a animal lover/tree hugger/non-Birkenstock wearing "hippie.":hippie: I would feel sick to see those animals. But I hope that you had a good time and have fun at the L&C Park.

Nana- I know you saw that one pic from my LO- I did take a bunch more, I hope to do something with them today.

Laurie- if I start walking now, do you think I'd make it is time to hand out in your jacuzzi? :D

morning all - Chris- you do not want to be in my hot tub now- temp is turned down to 90 and storms are coming possibly today and def tomorrow- I need to bring in my deck chairs tonight- before the strong winds blow them all around.

I hope to do personals tonight - depends on my energy and the weather- I do not mess with lightening!
 
Chris- I hate grocery shopping. especialy if I have to bring my kids along. I've tried giving them lists to help out, but they would rather act like they're in a playground than a store. Grrrrr

Blah monday morning. had a terrible night with our youngest. Super emotional, going overboard. All because he had to do chores all day with his siblings. He is the type who will drag his feet until one or the other (brother or sister) ends up doing his chore for him. He's smart! So he got in trouble and did not get to go to the corn maze with daddy last night (no one went). After his meltdown last night he doesn't get to go at all. I hate doing that.

So I'm gonna go maybe watch some tutorials and learn more about my PSE. I think I should start a book on these techniques so I don't forget how to do them! I just figured I would use them over and over till I got them down and then go on to a new technique.

I want to learn how to cut a subject out of a photo perfectly and paste it onto a page. I've asked about that in the tips thread.

GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel so much better today....Oh I was so worn out yesterday.....

I did A LOT of scrapping yesterday though!!

Today..............getting ready for a lot of noise.....we had our kitchen remodeled about 4 years ago, and I had a Hard Countertop put in...with the sink built into it....well it comes in two pieces.....they seam it together and the you can not even tell that it was in two pieces...AMAZING...anyway...my seam is showing now...so they have to saw it in two again, and reseam...UUUGGHHH...NOISE AND MESS....he is taping off my kitchen right now to minimize the mess. It was warranted for 20 years...which is why I chose this brand...that and it's not as expensive as Corian or Granite....It's called Hi Macs...It really looks like Corian.....it's just doesn't cost as much YAY!!! They say the guy who installed did not use enough glue because it should NEVER come apart like that.

Savannah is down for a nap....I am guessing not for long:eek2:

Okay.....I better run....need to get a load of laundry in......

This was the very first thing I taught myself how to do...I learned this by just playing around.....before I knew where any tutorials were....

I found that when I zoom in really big, you can see the pixels and you can easily get around the edges of the subject with your eraser tool and make your extraction look so much better....it is TIME CONSUMING....but when I do extract, I want it to be perfect, so I don't mind spending the time....

Good Morning Ladies... :rain: here again today and chilly. Off to work this morning, but had to stop here with my :tea: and see how everyone is doing.

Chris - sorry you are dragging your behind today! I don't care for Monday's as a rule, but once I have my coffee I start to feel better. I would share my hubby with you, but I'm afraid my place would fall into a state of dis-array if he left LOL.

Laurie - Hope you weather the storm ok!! Good idea not to mess with Lightning, I lost my oven once in a thunderstorm - fried the whole thing!!!:flame: Yikes!! that was scary :scared:

Katrina - I think you want to learn how to use your magic extractor in PSE?? I use photoshop CS4 so its a bit different than elements, but there are lots of tutorials online here's one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wdwlWDoKa1w I also have a tablet and pen, so it makes the extracting a little easier and precise, but you can get great results with your mouse also. Good luck, it's fun to learn new stuff!!

Nana - Hope your noise doesn't last tooo long!! Sounds like a great product though! I might have to remember that when it comes time for new countertops!

I can't believe all the beauty in digiland lately!! :)

And on that note .. I'm off to the gallery and then unzipping some new purchases I just made!! :)

Chris -- lol, deep down my former vegetarian ways still thrive, so I skipped out on going to see all that stuff. Luckily, my DH does a type of hunting that is focused on conservation and benefiting others & the environment. Otherwise he never would of gotten me down the aisle!

Laurie -- GL with the storms!!! We seemed to of survived most of ours headed our way -- no lightning or thunder, even though the forecast said 100% chance...

Katrina -- GL learning PSE! When I was learning graphic design way back in high school, it just worked best to do tutorials over and over until I memorized them. I suggest finding tutorials that teach you how to use your tools before moving on to tutorials about techniques.

Nana Linda -- GL to you too!!!!! I've never heard of Hi Macs, around here its all corian, granite, or... formica. But, I remember how loud it was when my old roommate had her corian installed!!

Trudy -- We'll both be taking cover today from the same storm!! Have fun at work!

Krista -- Have fun with your new goodies!


OK, well today we're headed to the Lewis & Clark historical park (s)... probably going to start in the south at the Salt Works or Canon Beach & then work our way north to Washington. I'm hoping that we don't get too soaked, but boy am I thankful our car has tooshie warmers!!!!
Oh, and I officially made my shop announcement today on my blog!! My hits have skyrocketed, I really really hope I don't have any bandwidth problems while we're gone.
