The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Good morning, O-Fam! Are we ready to tackle the new week? Grab another cup if you need, I have plenty in the pot! :coffeedrinker:

Soooo-- my day of doing nothing wasn't completely spent doing nothing. But I did everything at a slower pace, so there is at least that. ;)
I had three days' worth of work stuff scattered about the LR/DR/kitchen areas. I think I got about 90% of it put away, another 5% is dumped on the floor in my office area, and the last 5% is on the DR table.
Shockingly, I was only slightly stiff when I woke up and that went away as the day progressed. I have a few random bruises on my legs - probably from walking into things in the dark. ooops.

Earlier in the week, Tom bought us pumpkins to carve, which we did last night after dinner. I am so glad that we still do goofy family stuff like that. Gary and Caitlyn went to an Open House earlier in the afternoon, which makes me treasure the moments we have. ♥ I don't think this is "The House" for them but it has enough on their list to take another look. It's also priced lower than the other houses in the area, which means it's going to get snapped up quickly and for over-asking, or something big is wrong with it.
Caitlyn and I cooked dinner together and I told her that if she buys a house with a big kitchen, I'll come over to cook with her. My kitchen is tiny and we kept walking into each other :giggle4:

My plans for today are to clean my downstairs-- dust, vacuum, mop. Laundry--- I have so much laundry. I need to keep studying the info for the Forestry Badge and need to refresh myself on the Forest Bathing (those are for my work schedule on Sat/Sun). And it is four weeks until the Nature Retreat!! The director said it is almost sold out-- only a few more open spots. :woohoo:
Very exciting, but I still have loose ends for the essential oil section. I hope that the staff decides on which essential oil blend they like the best so I can make a bigger batch, the samples, and print the info cards to put it all together.

No pressure ;)

Wishing everyone a lovely day! xo

Good morning,
Quick in and out before getting ready for church.
Mark tested negative last night so we are off and running today.
I got every challenge available finished yesterday. Today I will start the process of getting caught up on my monthly review pages beginning with June! Wish me luck as I try to remember what I did 4 months ago!
HAGD
That's great news about Mark's test. And so far, so good for you? *fingers crossed it stays that way and that your stomach/headaches are all better too*
Congrats on getting all of the challenges done. I am still so incredibly far behind :(

took a tumble yesterday as I picked up a straight back chair to bring down to the main floor for game day, somehow I flipped over the ottoman end of the sectional in the media room and slipped on the throw rug with the chair landing on me as I fell on my side. Luckily the chair is not heavy. I put ice on it for an hour and today my upper thigh is sore and bruised but I'm ok. Jen had a "talk" with me, once again reminding me to ask for help when I need it. I find it hard to ask, not thinking about it, b/c I am so used to pushing myself and getting stuff done. I was lucky but I know one of these days I won't be and something will break...ugh. It sucks getting old.
I hear you and totally understand. I also see the error in our ways, but am completely unable to change it hahaha!
I hope that you aren't feeling too banged up and had a wonderful time playing cards with your friends.

Morning, all. Woke up early and been playing around with scrapping. Love the new release "Autumn Whisper" by Art Addicts. WOW... so many wonderful creatures and characters! I could play all day. But I should get some breakfast/lunch. Decided that this will be a PJ day. :floorlaugh:
How many pages did you scrap yesterday? I did 1 and 1/3.
Week Three AJ and updated my Weeks 1-4 page, in case you were wondering about scrapping 1/3 of a page. :rotfl:
Awesome to hear that your rash is almost gone and that you are getting ready for the new bed!

Good morning. Woke up at 4:12 so at 4:20 I decided to get up and get going. I am going to my sister-in-law's mother's house to help her set up InstaCart. I plugged my number into her cell phone when we were at the hospital together and told her that if she needed anything that Angie would have done before, to just give me a call. Angie used to get her groceries every couple of weeks but I think that she wants to be more independent so I think she wants to set up Instacart. So this morning will be kind of sad. She is very independent so I told her that we both needed this to honor Angie. She has 4 grandkids living within 20 minutes but they all have busy lives and I don't so I need to help.

Tomorrow morning, I'm doing a pumpkin patch field trip with the oldest great nephew and the only great niece. I may need to start identifying them as DGN #1, OGN (only great niece), etc. LOL I'm really looking forward to that. It's the same pumpkin patch that we used to take our kids to when they were little. I may need to bring home a couple of mums and pumpkins because I have neither. I need to catch up! :runningdog:

Then Syd is coming home Thursday night...so I should have plenty to keep me busy this week.

@faerywings I am pretty sure that you will say No again...but not this year. ;) And I agree...if Caitlyn gets a house with a big kitchen, the two of you can cook together all of the time. And without stumbling over each other. This is the smallest kitchen that we have ever had...and Sydney complains about it A LOT!

@vickyday what a crazy scrapping lady you are. I'm determined to get my CheeryO duties done for October, even though it was only half a month and even though I am soooo slow right now. But I'm going to make it happen. So glad that Mark tested negative and that you were able to do your regular Sunday activities. Shaun had Sunday off this week...first time since he got back here in April so he got up and went to church with me. I so appreciated that.

@bcgal00 oh no about the fall. It really does suck to get old. It's sweet that Jen had a talk with you. I see that kids do the same...although I'm not ready for them to switch roles with me.

@BrightEyes so glad that the meds have worked so well on the blisters. And, yes, it sounds like the mattress research needs to begin!

Good Morning Ladies!
Can someone please explain to me where the weekend went? I swear Chris said it was almost here and we could all enjoy it and relax. But I think I blinked and it was gone. Life is moving at warp speed. I feel like I am failing in the O news but honestly, it happened last fall too so it must be October that moves at warp speed leaving me little time to do anything here. I have 3 LO done for challenges. How is it the 20th and I dont have them all done? this is not normal. Wont be too long and surgery 3 will be here and I think mentally I am ready but maybe not as my shoulders are letting me know they're tight. Well, need to start my day. Just wanted to say HI!!!!

Quick in and out as I'm getting ready to leave to pick up Mark for lunch. After that I will be making the church and my deposits. I'm doing some laundry today, so it will probably be later today when I get back in here. I did get a cute page done using the Art Addicts new collection, Autumn Whispers! Those animals and children are so precious! I'm looking forward to using it on my monthly reviews, too!
OK gotta go!
Later Taters.......

Morning, gals... Another good night of sleep (9 PM till 7 AM).... an no itching from the blisters at all this morning!!! :claphands2:dance4:dancing6: They have faded to barely there so I am not going to take the steroid. It seems to have done the trick and lessened the outbreak and and length of it.

It is going to be a "warm" day (mid-70's) so think I will go look at mattress/frames. 4 of the stores are close by... 2 to 5 miles from the house. 1 is the store where we bought the last bed. Looks like a couple of the stores will also haul the old mattress/frame away. Hope so as that would be much easier than having the trash do it later.

How many pages did you scrap yesterday? I did 1 and 1/3.

Well... let's see... I have been busy scrapping this month - almost back to normal. Yesterday, I did 3 Color Play LOs (for release this Friday). I did the regular 7 monthly challenges and some pre-release LOs, and FWP LOs...hmmmm... 24 LOs and working on a couple more Color Play ones. But then.... I don't have a job nor family living with me so I have had plenty of time to scrap.

Just finished my :coffeedrinker:so better get my :showering2: then head out. HAGD

This surgery is kicking my butt. Pain pills are barely touching the pain and I ran out of anti nausea and waiting to hear bsck from dr. Cannot sleep. All I can say is my other one was easier and this can get better sooner than later.
Oh Debby! I am so sorry to hear that its kicking your butt this time around. :hug1:

Good morning (almost afternoon). I'm still in my jammies but have to get my butt in gear soon. Errands, dog walking and I promised myself that I would get at least 1 LO done today. Later I will pull out my rolling photography suitcase and measure it to see if it is regulation size for the airplane next week.

I have cauliflower mash going in the crockpot for dinner and will airfry some spiced salmon for dinner. D hates fish so he'll have a grilled burger.

I made keto tortilla pinwheels yesterday for game day and they were all eaten and I made another batch for me and Jen later in the evening. Jen said it is her new fave appie/snack.

@faerywings Sure hope T&C get the home they want and a bigger kitchen for you both to cook together would be wonderful.

@BoatLady Sending speedy healing vibes your way. Sure hope the pain lessens soon.

@AK_Tracy Yes the wkend flew by but for me, every day is like that. I start out with plans for the day and I'm lucky if I accomplish half.

I'd better go get on with my day. Remi is waiting for a walk now and soon will start whining at me. HAGD everyone.

I love it when my kids are all in for our gatherings in January and May/June and they make the effort for all of us to attend church together! Even my daughter who lives close and goes to another church skips hers and comes to ours with her siblings! LOVE IT!!

Good afternoon,
Back from lunch, banks and ended up going to the Verizon store to pay our final bill there. We switched to T-Mobile a couple of months ago and were waiting on the final bill from Verizon. Glad that is done!
I did some laundry before I left and put them in the dryer while I was gone (towels/wash cloths). Got them put back away. After this I will do the bed linens and try to get another Monthly Review spread done.
Have a great afternoon/evening

@AK_Tracy

I cannot explain where the missing weekend went. It didn't come to my house for sure! A third surgery...that doesn't sound good. Wishing you the best!

Sorry that this time is so rough. Hope that the doctor was able to get you additional anti nausea meds!

Back home finally. Ended up going to 4 different stores... And the 4th one was the charm... He had a wonderful firm mattress that was better than any other one I laid upon. Glad I had tried out several different mattresses before I got to his store. Got it on sale for 45% off and sale on the platform base plus discount on delivery/etc. And to make it even better... they will haul off the old mattress and frame. And the icing on the cake... they will deliver it here tomorrow morning!!! So will be up early tomorrow morning, strip the bed and have the area cleared for the delivery between 10AM - Noon. :banana:dance3dance4dance3:dancingelephant: I was so excited about buying the mattress/frame that I forgot to go by Sam's to buy some extra pillows so I can prop up to read in bed.

I missed lunch so will be having supper early. I made a Pizza yesterday (Supreme with rising crust) and have 2/3 left.... so quick and easy fix for supper.
