Good morning, O-Fam! Are we ready to tackle the new week? Grab another cup if you need, I have plenty in the pot!
Soooo-- my day of doing nothing wasn't completely spent doing nothing. But I did everything at a slower pace, so there is at least that.
I had three days' worth of work stuff scattered about the LR/DR/kitchen areas. I think I got about 90% of it put away, another 5% is dumped on the floor in my office area, and the last 5% is on the DR table.
Shockingly, I was only slightly stiff when I woke up and that went away as the day progressed. I have a few random bruises on my legs - probably from walking into things in the dark. ooops.
Earlier in the week, Tom bought us pumpkins to carve, which we did last night after dinner. I am so glad that we still do goofy family stuff like that. Gary and Caitlyn went to an Open House earlier in the afternoon, which makes me treasure the moments we have. ♥ I don't think this is "The House" for them but it has enough on their list to take another look. It's also priced lower than the other houses in the area, which means it's going to get snapped up quickly and for over-asking, or something big is wrong with it.
Caitlyn and I cooked dinner together and I told her that if she buys a house with a big kitchen, I'll come over to cook with her. My kitchen is tiny and we kept walking into each other
My plans for today are to clean my downstairs-- dust, vacuum, mop. Laundry--- I have so much laundry. I need to keep studying the info for the Forestry Badge and need to refresh myself on the Forest Bathing (those are for my work schedule on Sat/Sun). And it is four weeks until the Nature Retreat!! The director said it is almost sold out-- only a few more open spots.
Very exciting, but I still have loose ends for the essential oil section. I hope that the staff decides on which essential oil blend they like the best so I can make a bigger batch, the samples, and print the info cards to put it all together.
No pressure
Wishing everyone a lovely day! xo
