happy Monday!!!

I have to make this one quick since I need to get in the shower and out of the house early today. I have my MRI this morning so I guess it is in everyone's best interest if I shave my legs Bwuahahah!

Did you all have a nice weekend? I hope so. Mine seemed to fly by again. I got a bit of stuff off of myTo-Do list but not enough. I don't understand how I either waste so much time that the time disappears or that I really take forever getting one thing done. :noidea:
But one nice thing is that BFFATS asked if I wanted to go for a walk, and I did. Cait and are are going to try to take the dogs for a hike tomorrow or Wed which will be nice. Since I have started the Dog-Hike Go bag, we will be prepared. Hopefully. *fingers crossed* ha!!!!

Gary has been working non-stop on the Boo Frighters, the skeleton band that will be having a concert here on October 31. He has pictures and video on FB so I have to see if I can share them here. Of course, the drummer stopped working and he was so aggravated and ready to give up. He forgets that this happens *every* year and he makes it work. he will again.

So that it, I am off and running/hobbling/whatever-ing. :crutch:

Hugs to all!

good morning - yesterday was wonderful - beautiful weather and two good walks with Luther. In the afternoon we walked to the River and I had forgotten it was the rubber ducky race and the park was full of parents and kids. Luther did so well. We met this nice couple and we were talking and Luther started to wine then realized I was not moving and just lay on the ground waiting. Amazed. Today he is tired and resting but not for long as it is vacuum day. This afternoon I am going with my DH to his doctor. Yesterday was fun watching football and hockey and baseball.

Chris good luck with MRI! Have fun on the walks.

Rae and Trudy hope weather is better. Rae too funny about the guy blowing into your car!

Have a great day all!

Good morning, ladies. Made it through the wkend with no power outage (not sure how Trudy is faring). I'm going to to scrap a few pages this morning as I didn't get to scrap all wkend and missed it. Yesterday we took Taz to the pet store and he was so excited to follow the mice around the glass cage. He had his nose up to the glass and was tracking them as they moved around. People were watching him and laughing. He wanted to kiss the bunnies but they were not thrilled with him LOL. He sticks his nose in their pen and sticks his tongue out, wanting a kiss.

Last night I made a batch of banana muffins and am not happy with the result (too mushy) so this new brand of flour requires some tweaking of the recipe next time. They are still edible but not as firm as they should be. Oh well...I will slap some pumpkin butter overtop and eat them anyway.

Chris - Foo Frighters....awesome name LOL. Nice that you got in a walk with your BFF. Our weather is so nasty that I didn't get out for a walk at all. Today I will bundle up and take the dogs out regardless of the downpour.

Nancy - how wonderful that Luther do so well. Sounds like the training is working already!

Trudy - power on? Hope so.

Gotta go and scrap a bit before starting work. Have a great day, everyone.

Morning ladies.. grey and misty this morning, but no wind and it is pretty mild outside so that is nice! I guess today I have to contact the repair guy for my oven again :mmph: not happy about it and I think that a new oven is in our near future. Wall ovens are so much more expensive too, I don't understand why I mean they don't have the elements on them like a regular stove?? Oh well guess I will have to shop around for the best price available and go from there. That is if the repair man says it can't be fixed and it should be under some kind of warranty, the part was replaced just over a month ago.

Chris - Good luck with your MRI!! I doubt very much if they care if your legs are hairy or not LOL!! Nice that you got out for a walk with your BFFATS and hope that you get to hike with the dogs sometime this week also. Yesterday I was so sick of just sitting around the house that I went out in the rain and pulled all of my impatients plants that have died. I couldn't stand looking at them anymore from my craft room window and it was good to be out in the fresh, but very soggy air. Even though the whole time I was out there the neighbours two dogs barked at me continually!! grrr!!!

Nancy - How great that Luther is behaving himself and how fun to see the rubber ducky race at the river! Guess Luther will be chasing you around with the vacuum today LOL. Sounds like yesterday was a great day of sports for you! I see you are pumping out the great pages again!! Good luck at the Dr. today!

Rae - We have power and never really lost it, I am late in here today because I actually slept in until 8am. It was so nice :becky: I have been sleeping really well the past few nights and its such a treat LOL! Not sure how long it will last, it must be because of the cooler weather and that its dark out longer now. Hope you have some fun scrapping this morning!!

Ok its Skype time with Heather and Mason soon. Mason has been wearing his Marshall costume for Halloween for the past few days and poor Heather has to take it off of him when he is sleeping so she can wash it LOL. I used to have to do that with my son when he would dress as super man, too funny!! I will have to try to scrap a Paw Patrol page with my little Marshall grandson LOL. Have a great day ladies!!

It has turned into a lovely, warm afternoon here! Incredibly nice for Oct. 17. I am very happy to have completed a drawing as it's been over two months. Now for good baseball in Toronto tonight. (Sorry, Trudy, cheering for the USA team.)

Chris, I'm sure Trudy is right that they won't care at the MRI about your hairiness or lack thereof! Sure hope it went well. The doggie walk sounds good so hope the weather cooperates.

Nancy, that baseball game last night was a bit surprising with only the one run. Woo-hoo for Luther being a good dog yesterday.

Rae hope you get the scrapping done today and don't get too soggy when out.

Trudy, poor you out in the wet pulling up the plants - with stupid barking dogs. Hope today is better.
