The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
Good morning and happy monday!! How was everyone's weekend? They just go way to fast, don't they?

I have a busy week ahead, but it should be a fast and fun one.

Today i have to buckle down and get going on the Faery-Wings prep for the show on Dec. 3. Today is going to be making soy wax tarts and maybe some lotions and/or shower gels......
perhaps some hand dipped soap petals.... I guess I have to see where the day takes me.

Happy birthday Eva's Son!!

me Me monday.... um.... coffee??
:D

Good morning and happy Monday to all - 2 trunkfuls of stuff for the garage sale that is gone. $260.00 to spend in the scrapbook store as credit. Which means more newer stuff that I can use with my digital stuff. The camera reappeared at the lost and found at the movie theater - strange how it wasn't in the theater after the movie - oh well strange though it may be I'm very glad to have my pink friend back. We got the pecan pies over the weekend on sale 1 for us and 1 for a gift... we had pie for breakfast.... Mamaw can't remember ever eating pie for breakfast .... now she can! I'm off to do chores to get ready for the holidays. Hope everyone has a great day - Maureen enjoy your last day of vacation before you head home... remember to put those toes in the sand and to breathe in that fresh ocean air for me too! PS the new twilight movie was really good - saw it 2 times.

14 years ago I was lying in a hospital bed waiting for the anaesthesia from the c-sectin to go away - looking at the miracle that we just had named John.

Just been to the store and bought what I need to make today's taco dinner. Also bought a box of his favoritet chocolate "romerska bågar" (chocolate with a twist of orange) that I will give him after dinner. Because of his Asperger he can't really handle surprises well, and since a couple of years we don't buy birthday and Christmas presents anymore - he get's stuff all over the year instead. And it just happened that the last Zelda game came last Friday, so I guess that's sort of his Birthday gift this year :)

Well - I have tons of stuff to prepare ... finding a kitchen under all the dishes to begin with LOL ... so I'm off :)

Morning all - I have been scarce as I am trying to find the floor in my son's bedroom- that is where the basement stuff ended up after the feb basement 1" flood. I have been slowly taking stuff down to the new craft room. It is taking shape. I actually made 1 digi and 2 fully stamped paper cards last night. Been so long, the stamping was ummm crooked- makes them know it truly is handmade from the heart. Lots to accomplish this week. Planning on eating Thanksgiving dinner at a restaurant with my husband and youngest. More basement work and perhaps a winery weekend to stock the wine fridge for the holidays! Off to work now.

Debbie, i'm all FOR pie for breakfast! if i could eat stuff like that anymore, i would ABSOLUTELY eat cherry pie for breakfast whenever possible!

Chris, i have to go over to your website and check out your products. do you ever MAIL your stuff, or is it all through craft fairs? (i guess i'll find that out at your site.)

Eva, i LOVE that page. i have to try to do something like that with my kids. hope you have a great day with him.

i have a haircut apt. at 9:30 a.m. hope the stylist is awake! i'm going to have to apologize and make excuses for my eyebrows, which they'll get a good look at when they're washing my hair. i'm letting my eyebrows grow in to see how bad i'd look if i just stopped plucking them. i'm really getting sick of all the "upkeep" on this aging body!! anything i can STOP doing would be a welcome change. so, we'll see. so far, it doesn't look promising.

i think the roofers will be finishing up today. then a giant check has to be written. next project: the wall by my garage needs to be torn down and redone with something that doesn't need taken care of. same philosophy as my eyebrows.

Happy Monday!

Laurie--winery weekend? sounds like a GREAT time! and i could never stamp without it being crooked AND a mess....

Good Morning All my lovely O Ladies....

The weekend went way to fast. Had to work yesterday....got there and couldn't get in, called my supervisor, she called the other supervisor, she called an fellow employee that lived in the area....while I waited I sat on the hallway floor sipping Pumpkin Spice Latte and eating my scone.....yummy.....finally got in an hour and half later and worked like crazy.....came home to the arms of my little grandson Quentin.....what a perfect end to my hectic day.....

Chris what is a "soy wax tart"? Hoping you get lots done for your craft fair.

Debbie - awesome that you were able to recover your camera and wow to the store credit....

Eva I love love love that layout, the progression of pictures is just so special to see all on one page.

Laurie - I voted for eating Thanksgiving out didn't get anyway.....hee hee...enjoy!

Phylis - LOL on to your comment on upkeep.....hee hee....I'm sometimes tempted to just let my hair go gray, maybe after I retire. Todays workplace is not good for us seniors so we have to look as young as we can while working.....sad isn't it.

Morning everyone!

Up early and getting a few things accomplished. My husband is on vacation this week and today we are headed down to Branson to do some shopping. Hubby shops about once every few years and not a window shopper either so this could be interesting 'cause there are lots of windows I want to look at and doors I want to enter!!

Chris- good luck in all you want to accomplish.

Deb- enjoy that store credit!

Eva- what a sweet page!

Laurie- Love the thought of a winery weekend among all the busy activities!

Phylis- Enjoy that hair appt. Your comments make me laugh! You are a so fun.

Frani- I envision you waiting for the door to be unlocked..........I think you used that time very wisely to relax and enjoy...........good for you.

Happy Monday!
Donna

Hi ladies.....it's a sad day today...my next door neighbor died this morning. She has been pretty sick for about a year and half, but now she will not suffer any longer. My heart breaks for her family. She was in her early 60's. She has 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren...who she was VERY VERY close with them all. Pray for her family if you can.

My weekend was busy....the kids were at my Mom's all day Saturday visiting with Traci..and I did SOOOO much cleaning out!!! YAY!!! I made very good progress with my efforts this time. I managed to get one of the downstairs bedrooms completely cleaned out and it is officially the PLAYROOM...all the kids toys are in there, and hopefully this will keep things from being stroughed from one end of the house to the other upstairs and downstairs now. Mean old Nana told them NO TOYS ALLOWED UPSTAIRS ANYMORE!! :whip:

The floor is finished in the bathroom and yesterday we got the new toilet in....played with the kids a lot yesterday....it was 70 degrees here yesterday!! WOW!!!

That was about it for me....I have some other work to do today around here and see if I can figure out where the washing machine is leaking from...the last three loads, there has been water on the floor :(

Hope you all have a great day!!

Happy Happy Happy Monday, everyone!!!!! yay!!! I'm yelling just to get myself psyched up for the day!! this place is utter chaos!! eeeeeek!! BUT, I see a light at the end of the tunnel!! Really, what a great time to do this flooring thing. Just when I am surrounded by a gob of THANKFUL people! It really sets my attitude in the right place...well, that, and the fact that Mr Gorgeous is working from home all week...I cannot tell you how happy I am that I don't have to make any decisions about anything while he's here! (not that I can't, just that I don't want to have to think about house stuff, when my brain power is all used up with what I'm getting rid of and where I'm putting everything of my own!! eeep!!)

Okay, I love all of you girls, but I have got to get my clean clothes folded!!!

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY Fresh start to all of you!!!

ahh monday again....short week though girls only have school today and tomorrow joy...then thanksgiving! woot! can't wait!! uploaded a few Layouts! tfl if you do!

Wow, everyone's busy lives are exhausting me this morning :-)

Debbie, wow, you must have sold a ton of stuff...great job!

Eva, how cute are those pics! Our kids birthdays are so very special to us, aren't they?

Phylis, I hear ya! It's a full time job trying to address the aches and pains, the colors and the brows :-) I say let 'em go! You are lovely, my dear!

Fran, I cannot believe you went to work and were locked out...what a waste of time...so glad you got to come home to a grandbaby :-)

Nana so sorry about your neighbor. Will keep them in my prayers.

We're in holiday prep-the-house mode here...did a bunch of quilt and picture hanging, cleaning and arranging in prep for guests arriving this week. And hubby got his antique train set up...been in boxes almost 2 years since we moved here. It was a rainy weekend so that helps.

Saw Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 with my baby Friday night...was cute and a great ending.

Better get going...have a good Monday...I always set my expectations low on Mondays, so if things go well, I am surprised :-)

Morning all...

Packing up the car to head north. I love it here, but home is pretty darn good too. I did manage to eat some chocolate pecan pie with my tea this am. Oh I did eat my plain youghurt and shredded wheat first! so I was mostly good.

Have a great monday everyone.

Morning sweet "O"'s Happy Monday!! I fully expected to wake up to a ton of snow this morning, but again the weather man was wrong, but that's a good thing!! Instead we have :rain: But you don't have to shovel rain right?? Long work day for me so I will quickly do personals and then I'm outta here.

Chris - I bet your house smells wonderful when you get busy making your faerywings goodies!! Hope you have a productive day!

Debbie - Wow all that store credit... you will have so much fun shopping!!!

Eva - Happy Birthday to your sweet son! What a great layout you did to show your love to him!!

Phylis - Do you pluck your eyebrows right off?? Then pencil them back in? My MIL does that and I told her she should stop, its so much easier to just get them done by the beauty salon every once in a while. I have to have mine dyed sometimes because they are so light, but it lasts for a long time. You are lovely Phylis so do what makes you happy!!

Fran - That sucks about having to wait all that time to get into work, I think I would have just gone home!!! But how wonderful that you got to see your grandchild at the end of your busy day!! That would be heaven for me!! I only get to see mine a few times a year :hurt:

Donna - Have fun shopping, I hate dragging my hubby around, they don't understand why we can't just go in and buy what we need and go. Unless of course we are at the sony store, then its ok to browse for hours !! LOL.

Nana Linda - How sad for your neighbour!! Too young to leave this earth!! But at least she is not sick anymore! My heart breaks for families that are so close, its just not fair!! So glad to hear that you got your chores done and now all the toys are downstairs, you are not a mean Nana!! You are a wonderful Nana, who wants to not have to pick up all the time!

Sally - Nice that your MG is home all this week, you must be very happy!! Hope you get your chaos cleaned up today!

Kiliki - Have a Happy Turkey Day!! Yummmm!!

Diane - sounds like a very busy day for your today! I love decorating for the holidays, but usually end up doing it myself over the course of a week or so, just easier that way. I make hubby bring it all up from the crawl space though. Glad you got to see the movie with your baby!!

Well off to the shower and :brushteeth: Have a great Monday everyone! Hope to get in here to leave some lovin in the gallery later.

Maureen - posting at the same time again. Have a safe drive home!! Your breakfast sounds divine!!

OK...seriously, I'm up, got the kids off to school and stop by and it's full in here! Anyway, happy Monday to everyone and happy short week to you Americans!

Nana - sorry to hear about your neighbour. It's so hard when they're so young, too.

Eva - great page! Happy birthday to your son.

Phylis - low maintenance is my mantra both in beauty and home renos!!

Well, my 18 month old is trying to manhandle my keyboard and mouse so this is hard to type. Now he's found my stapler...better go!!

Oh goodness... where did the weekend go? It is so hard for me to get computer time esp now that DH has taken over my laptop (I used to sit outside with it while the kids played). Saturday we got up early and went to Lowes build and grow workshop - a bi-monthly ritual. The project was a toy sleigh with Santa and reindeer. Too cute!! The rest of the day was spent outside in the mid 70 weather. Sunday was another beautiful day! DH let me sleep in and even cooked breakfast! WOW!! We spent most of the day outdoors and even went with friends to a fun place and enjoyed ice cream and snow cones. The one thing in Texas you can count on is a year round supply of ice cream and snow cones. ;)

@Chris you are the crafty one. I must check out your bloggity! ;)

@Deb Wow!!! nice haul on the garage sale. That's a great amount of money to have burning a hole in your pocket for the upcoming Black Friday sales.

@Eva Happy Birthday to John. Super sweet through the years page!!

@Laurie Booooo to the flood and YAAAAAAAAAAAAY to the new craft room. Color me jealous! ;)

@Phylis I agree... the less that "HAS" to be done the better. I skimp on a few hair related things b/c I have fine invisible blonde body hair (brows/lashes/legs). :D

@Frani Mmmmm Pumpkin Spice Latte and a scone! Can't think of a better way to spend an hour... cept maybe a refill and another scone! ;)

@Donna Have fun in Branson shopping! Hope you score some great deals. Give your DH something to do - hand him the bags!! :D

@Nana Sad to hear about your neighbor.

@Sally Good luck with all of the house stuff.

@Kristy Yay to the short week! Note to self - head over to Kristy's gallery and leave some lovies!

@Diane Fun times the holiday prep.

@Trudy don't work too hard today and stay dry!

@Sandra your morning sounds a lot like mine! EEK!

Oh Jacqueline- you are too sweet! I have been in total denial about the website- I had done it all up in Dreamweaver and was finally getting really pleased with it, when my computer crashed last year. When I upgraded to Win 7, my version of Dreamweaver no longer worked so I switched over to a free eCommerce site through my internet provider and I hate it. And sadly- I just don't have the motivation to mess with it.

I do online orders too but I always tell my friends to email me directly so i can give "friend" discounts and offers. LOL

It is faerywings.com... and please don't hate it as much as I do hahahah!!!

xoxo
