GooooOd morning, dear O-Fam!! It feels like winter over here in NJ. It is only 32* and extremely windy with a real feel of 24*. I am extremely happy that I don't have to go anywhere today. Heh, that is going to be the only good thing about being mostly housebound this winter, not having to go out in the cold.

I got a bunch of things done around the house yesterday but I have much more to do today. I was able to get all of the dishes/kitchen cleaned up. I did 2 loads of laundry and the washing machine didn't leak. Whew. And I finished an extremely difficult puzzle! It was so hard, so many solid black pieces. But it was still not as hard as the Bermuda one that I gave up on. (Sidenote: I was supposed to be in Bermuda in July! That still hurts.)
I finished my grocery order, I *should* be able to go back and edit it today but it is ready in case I can't. I really don't like using the website on Sundays because it times out so much. But I sucked it up and did it. *pats self on the back*

Unfortunately, my stomach hurts. I am so anxious about this upcoming week. There is so much tension over the election. I honestly never thought that I would be concerned over election results before it actually happened. But here were are.
I am going to keep myself busy today and tomorrow, I have all of the Halloween decorations to put away and one day this week I am going to steam clean the carpets.
I haven't checked out any of the November challenges yet, is there one that I should start with? I am sure that everyone one of them is amazing.

Yikes- I am looking out my window and the trees are blowing everywhere. I hope none come down or that we don't lose power.

Love and Hugs!!
xoxo

Kay- I hate having to change clocks in the car. I always forget how to do it and have to look it up in the handbook. Oh wow, you are so lucky to have such nice weather! Of course, you already dealt with snow accumulation so you deserve some sun and heat!
Our case numbers are increasing too but thank goodness they are not back to where we were in the spring. Hopefully, they won't get that bad again. Gov Murphy has been on top of everything and I am happy/relieved about that.

Trudy- how was Halloween for your grands? I hope that Sadie and Isaac got to do something fun even though they couldn't go out. And the boys? What did they dress up as?
Your calendar pages are beautiful, I loved the Feb one you just posted. You and Heather could be twins.

And here are Gary and Scott as Lazlo and Jackie Daytona :)

I feel your Gary's pain with the car clocks!
Sadly, I think there are many people who don't get it (the pandemic). When Scott was at the liquor store the other day, the owner wasn't wearing a mask even though he is supposed to be. He said that he won't go back, even though they are closer/cheaper than some of the others in town. Not worth saving a few $$.

Good morning ladies... Our last sunny but chilly day for a while. Tomorrow the rain returns :mmph: Oh well I have a nice quiet day today, no where I have to go and no housework to do other than make my bed. I think I might go crazy when my Gary takes 5 days off of work starting next week!! That man can not sit still and by the time he went back to work this morning I was ready to strangle him LOL. Not really, but man he sure keeps me hopping! So I will enjoy my alone day today! No face time calls as it is also Heather's alone day and so I don't bother her and let her enjoy her day. We had a lovely roast beef dinner last night, but my cooking thermometer died on me and so it was a guessing game as to how long to keep in the oven. I did good though and it was cooked to perfection. Guess I will have to start looking for a new thermometer today.

Chris - Sounds like you had a very productive day yesterday and I am glad you don't have to go out in the cold today! My raynauds is getting bad, I can't even make a salad with veggies from the fridge without my fingers turning white :mmph: I now carry hand warmers in all of jacket pockets just in case. So going out in the cold is not something I look forward to doing either. Halloween for the grands was good, Isaac was dressed as Dead Pool and Sadie was Red Riding Hood. Mason was Optimus Prime and Hunter was a Witch, all had great costumes!! We did not get to facetime with anyone yesterday, they were all very busy doing some fun Sunday activities. Heather and her clan went ice skating (Heather watched). Jason and his crew were out hiking and enjoying the gorgeous fall colours. They try to get the kids to do some physical activities on the weekend when they can, instead of sitting around looking at their tablets all day long LOL. Love your photo of Livvie the calendar star! Your guys dressed for the day, good on Scott for not going back to that Liquor Store, what is wrong with people? Do they really want to be shut down again??

Well it is getting late and I still haven't even had my shower yet, so off I go and then back here to catch up on my duties here at the O! Have a great day everyone, stay safe!!

Good morning, ladies. Had a good day with Bailey yesterday. Unfortunately, the vet said Noel is fading fast, is feeling more pain and lost a lb in 4 days (8 in total this past month or so). He said it's time to let him go, so we'll have this wk with him, love him up as much as we can (he still loves to climb up onto my stomach as I lay on my mat on the floor with my legs up, watching TV) and give him lots of treats and will get him outside a lot. He was screeching at me yesterday as I tried to pick him up to bring him back inside. He really wants to be outdoors.

So it'll be a sad week but I'm happy for these few days with him. I'm dreading Sunday but we know it's time.

I'll be starting Karen's team this wk so am excited to work on her next collection soon. I got out of the house yesterday, picked up Bailey (while Jen took Noel to the vet and that gave her time to come to terms with the discussion before seeing Bailey when I got back). B and I stopped twice along the way to stretch out my back, walk around for 5 min and take a few photos. We had fun. Then we grabbed lunch on the way back for everyone. B stayed for dinner and we watched a bunch of game shows.

Time to get to work, so I'd better go. Have a good day everyone. BFN

Trudy - we cross posted this morning. That's funny about dreading G being home for 5 days and keeping you busy. D was home last week and for the most part, he reclined in front of the tv and I hardly saw him. I have to give him a few chores to get him out of the chair and moving LOL.

Glad your roast beef turned out. I got my digital thermometer from amazon, it was cheap, about $12 and 5-6 yrs later its still working.

Good morning lovelies. Chris, I'm sorry you're stomach hurts - I know it's hard to say, but try not to stress over this election. What can we do about it? I get the same way and Chuck always tells me that it's not worth it to make myself sick. (Not only over the elections, but life.) That's his philosophy and it's served him well over the years. Sending you lots of hugs.

It's a beautiful day but very chilly. I hear them pounding up on the hill - that's a good thing - means they're doing something on our house. I wish I could see up there, but the hill's too steep.

I'm going to go check out the challenges, too. There are some good looking challenges this month.

Hugs
