The Loopy-O
CHEERY O
BLERGH!!!!!!
I don't like it was DST ends. My biological clock is so strong, that it takes me forever to readjust. I have been up since 3.45.
On the positive side, that gives me more time to get the stuff done that I need to do, I have a busy day ahead. :thumb:

Now that Halloween is over, I already started taking down the decorations in the house. I need some "clean space" before Christmas decorations go up. We also have hardly any food in the house so I think I am going to have to food shopping tomorrow which means I have to prep for that today. I also need to order the rest of the supplies for Faery-Wings. One order for soap ingredients should be here mid-week, but I have to get my act together and get the rest. Like yesterday. Sheesh.

I also need to see if I can find Gary's stress ball- you know those firm, but squishy things? (that sounds terrible! )
My LLMD is finding that my hands are still so very weak, and wants me to start working with them to build back some muscle strength.

My QOTD: What kinds of exercise do you do, or did you do in the past, that we don't know about? I know Nancy walks like a mad woman, Trudy and Shar swim like fish. :D But clue us in on something different.

When I was much younger, before kids, I used to weight lift, pretty seriously. I had a boyfriend at the time who was a power lifter and he helped me get started. I liked it because it was something I could do and not have to be coordinated. Growing up in the 80's, aerobics was the big thing, but I have no sense of rhythm or direction so it was more frustrating then anything. To the people near me, especially! LOL

Not much else going on in my world. I hope that all of you have a super day!

Sunday:

Nancy- I am off all news sites and social media until I see last night's episode of the Walking Dead, but I think I heard that the Mets lost the series? That is a bummer.
Very cute about the kids dressing up for the Devils' game. One of these days, I have to dig up the pics that I have from one Halloween when a bunch of my girlfriends dressed up as hockey players. I think I even gave myself a make-up black eye and blacked out a tooth.
I am smiling to imagine how happy Rex was! Ashely must have missed him so much too.
Thank you so much for the compliments on the video :)

Trudy- I know! Christmas will be here before we know and that makes me want to :bolt:
I got one LO done for my IL's album and am almost done with the second-- only 18 more to go
How sweet you were, with the little faery. I love how Mason calls monkeys O O's. Scott called reindeer doo-doos. I wish that I could have taped everything that they said when they were small.

Laurie-- whoo hooo! So good to see you!!!!!! Congrats on finishing the move and I am thrilled to have to back here again!!!

Oh, and past exercise: I used to be a real jock. Silver metal in 100m sprint in my state (canton, in Switzerland), and then something with the 200m relay. When I came over to the States for college I worked up to a brown belt in tae kwon do before I came down with mono and had to stop so I wouldn't rupture my spleen. Now I am a big pudge. I bicycle on and off, but my heart isn't always ok with that.

good morning - Yes Chris the Mets lost. They were leading 2-0 in the top of the 9th and then lost 7-2 in 12 innings. Yes I am not ready for DST to be over. Got in a good walk with my girlfriend yesterday. It was a nice morning. Came home and watched sports all day. My son and his girlfriend went for a drive to take photos of leaves and they took Rex. It was strange not to have him around. And even stranger this morning not to have him around. QOTD: I still love to ride my bike but I don't do it when it is too chilly and now with all the leaves on the road for me it is just not safe. In the past I made it to second degree black belt in tae kwon do. It was fun and I am glad I did it. My DH and I used to play tennis a lot. I do miss that.

Chris hope your internal clock gets set soon. I figure I only have to make it to the winter solstice and then the days will be getting longer. I can't imagine how long it will take to take down all those decorations. Oh and I keep forgetting congrats on how well your doing in combating Lyme's. Keep up the good work!

Heather congrats on your speed. I would try to run but my knees hurt.

Trudy hope the rain has stopped. We are due for a great week with highs near 70 and no rain.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... so foggy this morning that I can hardly see across the street!! I sure hope that means that the sun will come out today and brighten up the day later! We had lots of :rain: yesterday. Had supper with my Brother and SIL last night. Always nice to go there for a visit and enjoy the beautiful river that flows past their house.

Chris - Hooray for doing so well with your battle against Lyme Disease! Hope your doctor has finally figured out the right dosage of meds for you!! Have fun taking down all those Halloween Decorations LOL. It must be a bit of a let down to be done with all the fun of Halloween. As for your QOTD - I have always loved to do yoga and have decided to start it up again, it is one thing that I can do at home on my own time and not have to go to a class and pay a fortune for it. I will keep swimming of course, but now the weather is so wet and cool I don't like to get out for a walk too much and I need to do something else to get exercise. I find that yoga not only keeps me flexible, but it builds strength also. Glad you are at least getting some of your layouts done for your In-Laws gift, don't worry you will finish on time!!

HeatherT - Wow, sounds like you really were quite the athlete!! That's such a shame that you got Mono!! I wonder what would have happened if you had never got it?? Oh those life changing things that happen to all of us and make you go Hmmmmm????

Nancy - We stayed up and watched the Mets lose last night, quite the game!! How cool that you took your tae kwon do. I tried Karate for a while, but it was not for me. My son however has his black belt and now my grandson is also taking Karate, so proud of them!!
Enjoy the beautiful weather that you are going to have, I am sure you will be out there walking away and taking in all that great fresh air and fall beauty!!

Well lots to do today, both here and at home. Not much got done this weekend, it was a pretty lazy couple of days, so off to put in a load of :washing: and get the vacuum out for spin around the house.
