The one good thing about November is that Gary's SS hearing is in 2 weeks. *fingers, toes and eyes all crossed*

The other good thing in November is DSD!!!

morning everyone!!! I'm a bit bleary eyed this morning, but I'm gonna catch a nap this afternoon...i can feel it!! :)

OHhhhh DSD is going to be sooooo rawking this week!!! :) I'm going to go post another fun happening here at the O!!! yay!!!

chris, you know i'm always praying for you guys!! start confessing NOW that Gary will be super successful at the SS hearing! and I will, too...and it WILL come to pass!! yay!!!

linda, did i mention that i was really grateful for you this week???? heehee...well, i am!!! :) happy day, babe!

My DH went away for business yesterday and my little one was hysterical all yesterday....seriously hysterical. I so wasn't expecting that at all and was completely shocked. I figured he would be sad but not hysterical for most of the day - wow totally broke my heart. Thankfully his daddy comes home tonight all should be well again :)

Today is just school and errands!!! Later tonight is Mama time....which = DSD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woot Wooot!!!! Have you all seen the fabulous challenges that the ladies have put together for you all!!! Oh my word...SO MUCH FUN!!!! They rock! So tonight that is where I will be.....checking out everyone's fabulous layouts and hoping to scrap myself :)

Hello ladies! I'm passing out the orange juice today...don't want anyone to catch this dang flu...because it is nasty for sure. Sydney and I are both still home. She doesn't have a fever so we're on the 24 hour countdown. She does still have a nasty cough so it's probably good that she's home.

I, on the other hand, do still have a fever. I'm not even working from home. About 15 minutes out of bed is all I can do! :-( So hoping that this disappears soon so I can enjoy DSD festivities this week.

Chris, so anxious for the SSD hearing for you guys. Praying for a positive outcome.

Kat, poor Nick! Neither of us has had to be away at night since Sydney came home. We are only now getting to a place where one of us could be away if we HAD to. Shaun would be ok. Sydney...not so much!

Linda W...you are completely full of energy! You and the other members of Sue's CT just rocked on the layouts last week! Thanks for helping to make the O a happy place!

Thanks! He was very tired this morning and still alittle sad...but he went to school no problem. I think he's okay right now since he knows his daddy is coming home in a couple hours. I am sooo lucky for my parents because they have really helped out trying to keep his mind off of it. The worst part is in a couple weeks DH has to go away again for almost a week :( I am really worried now about that time because I just don't know how it is going to go :(
 
Good morning ladies!!!

I am at work today amazingly enough. I didn't sleep for crap last night though. I just couldn't relax enough to sleep and with how I've been feeling I didn't think I'd end up at work, but I did. So, here I am. I'm not doing too bad. I have taken quite a few x-rays though. Just took a pic of a kid, using the term loosely, who got into a fight with a tree. I was about ready to take the pics and he asked if the xrays would hurt his hand. I asked if he was serious. He just got into a fight with at reee adn he was worried if taking a picture of his hand was going to hurt. He kind of laughed and realized that was kind of a dumb question. It cracked me up and made my day though. He didn't break anything though. He's lucky. Usually those guys always break the bone in their hand below their pinky finger, then try and convince the doctor they fell. They only way to break that bone is to hit something with a closed fist. Silly angry boys.

So, not much going on this week. Everyone on earth seems to be sick, including all of you. Sending out healthy vibes to everyone. i am totally excited about all the happenings here for dsd. i am already filling up my cart with sale items. it ROCKS!!!

dh just brought me lunch. i made him take x-rays. that was kinda fun. i took prettier pics than him. that was even more fun. lol.

Can you believe I am still dealing with the insurance company from my car break in. They have gone through and priced out every single item and have told me where I could buy everything online. How insane is that? I just want a camera. Everything else can just wait. They have told me I can buy such and such at Walmart and such and such at amazon, etc. It is crazy. Now they are waiting for my receipt for my camera. It has been forever. I am borrowing my mom's point and shoot as of this weekend. It stinks. I got some good rockstar/alien pics though so I'm good. I just need a new big girl camera.

Hey does anyone know if the Nikon D60 has been replaced with a Nikon D3000?

Well, I am going I'll do personals in a few minutes. I think I need something cold to drink. Off to check out the gallery for a bit first.
 
Clara - so sorry to hear about the break in and yes that is wicked crazy what the insurance company is doing? How can they force you to buy from Amazon? Especially a camera? I bought a camera through them and won't do it again. They actually open the cameras and test shoot them before they ship them to you. The one I got was damaged from this so called "testing". Never again. (((hugs))) I hope everything turns out and you get a big girl camera :)

Sally-woohoo! Isn't the O hopping today?! I am so pumped about this whole wk, I was busy as a beaver today doing some CT stuff to get ready.

Clara-that's just crazy that you are still waiting on a camera! And ITA about Amazon, I don't see how they could 'make' you buy from there?! It's great for books and music but not electronics IMHO. Can't wait to hear what you get though!

Well, they don't "make" you buy anywhere they just go a little crazy about pricing and quoting you the cheapest possible price. USAA has always been so good to us it is weird to have them be so cheap this time around, especially when my deductible is sooooooo high this time. I have a $1000 deductible. Ugh!! All I care about is the camera. The GPSs would be nice, but the camera. I want my Nikon D60 but I am having trouble finding it because I don't think they make it anymore. I'm not sure though. The local camera store closed down so I can't go and ask. I wish I liked the Canon's but I prefer Nikon. I thought about the D90 once upon a time but I think that is just way too much camera for me. the idea of editing video is just way overwhelming to me and I really don't like home video anyway, so not necessary, so I think the D60 will be just fine. Hmmm...we'll see how much my check is for. watch I get a check for $34 or some crazy amount. Ugh!!
 
soooo...i just have to admit that i feel like crap!! really...i never whine in here, do i??? but i could feel it this morning. I thot maybe i just shouldn't have had the hard lemonade last night!! (wasn't that much...i promise!!) LOL!! So, i took a short nap and rested this afternoon, but when i got up, i felt worse!! I think all of my crazyness has finally caught up with me!!

Chris, i did read your fun post about the Garlic...so I'll be on that for sure!! thanks babe!!!

and the other good news is that i will take more time to just relax and scrap in the next few days!!

(OMGosh...i'm crying from a Hallmark commercial!!! no way!! I definitely need more rest!!)

Oh Clara...I'm so sorry that you can't get your camera. I have the old Nikon D70 and I love it! Couldn't be without my Nikon.
