Guesswhat, Guesswhat, Guesswhat, Guesswhat!!!!!!!!!!!!! The sun came out yesterday!! Only for a couple of hours but it did! I saw blue sky!!!! :cheer2:
However- and this is the big "but" that goes in here... it was soooooo cold!!!! Caitlyn and I took Jaida to the park, and we were so cold, she went home to get us warmer coats. We were less bundled up when we were taking them in March and early April.
She had fun, a bunch of the "regulars" were there, including the one bratty dog. He jumps on everyone all of the time, grabbed my scarf once. This time stuck his head into my pocket, grabbed my glove and he and another dog decided to play tug with it. The owner tends to be pretty clueless, (this is the one that was in Puppy Training with J and I said what a waste of $$ *eye roll* )

My mom made a broccoli quiche for us, so I reheated that for dinner and we all watched the last episode of Season 2 of Kimmy Schmidt together. Scott put in a long day yesterday at the Garden Center but seems to really enjoy it. He is going back in today for a full day too.

I am cleaning this morning and if I have enough energy when I get home, I want to spend time outside. The last week or so of bad weather has me really behind schedule on yard work and planting. Although, if not today, tomorrow might be ok.

Hope that all of you had a wonderful weekend and are ready for the week ahead!

Ugh!!!! Trudy!!! That really stinks about the vertiigo. Are there any triggers that aggravate it? My dad's Dr has him on a low sodium diet as in his case that makes it worse. I am sure that once your baskets have time to settle and fill in they will be stunning!
Congrats on the new chairs!

Rae- bet your mother's day was nice, how fun to have the fam over for Chinese food and chatting, Hope that your hubs didn;t have to be away too much!

I love shopping during iNSD but I hate all the downloading and unzipping.

Chris, I am sorry it was cold there. Definitely not a problem here. It was going to be too hot in Orlando yesterday, so skipped Animal Kingdom in favor of shopping. Mostly just window shopping but always fun with David.

Trudy, I am sorry to hear about your vertigo. Hopefully it goes away quickly. Can;t wait to see pictures of baskets in bloom.

Rae, I hope your Chinese was good. That is one thing that is hard to find around here and I miss it.

Morning ladies... Had a really nice dinner with the In-Laws yesterday and like Rae we ordered Chinese food. It was delicious and MIL had seconds LOL. She just loves it and when we told her that we were getting Chinese her face just lit up :becky: I got a lovely arrangement of tropical plants from my son and his family and a sweet picture and frame from DD and her family! I got very spoiled for Mother's Day! The only thing that would have made it any better was if we could have all been together! But I count my blessing that my family are all still happy and healthy! Hoping that my Vertigo is better tomorrow so I can go swimming, not sure if I can manage it with this horrible dizziness that I am having today.

Chris - So glad that the sun came out for you finally!! Too bad that the temps were not better, but hopeful that they will improve this week for you! That little bratty dog needs someone to show him a thing or two, did you manage to get your glove back in one piece? Your mom is just the best making you a quiche! It sounds so yummy! Glad that Scott is enjoying his job at the nursery!

Cindy - I can't imagine how hot it must get for you in Florida and if it is humid that would just do me in!! I suppose you get used to it over time? Glad that you got to do some window shopping, its the one thing my DH hates to do, you are lucky that David enjoys it with you!

Rae - How was your Chinese food dinner? Ours was very good and there is always so much that I sent doggy bags home with everyone and gave the rest to DH for his lunch today.

Ok my Vertigo is getting the best of me and I need to get off the computer for a while. Hope that you all have an amazing day!!

Good morning, ladies. The wkend did fly by, just as I expected.I had a few good walks with Taz, scrapped a bit and watched all the episodes of The Silence Game with my hubs. So now we're caught up. It was great to have the family over yesterday. My oldest daughter ended up not coming into town so we'll see her another day but my youngest (Jen) came with her hubs and Bailey. Poor Jen though, she wasn't feeling well, had the flu or something. She still wanted to come over and I think just lying on the floor, wrapped up in a blanket, sipping a tea, was good for her and she enjoyed the movie we watched (The Invitation). We all enjoyed the Chinese food. Today I'll be working, loading some photos I took yesterday and organizing more of my fonts. I might even get a page scrapped too depending on my work schedule.

Chris - some dog owners are clueless, aren't they? I would never let Taz do that. Hope he didn't get any holes in your glove as he tugged on it. Hope you don't overdo it on the cleaning and enjoy getting outdoors later.

Trudy - hope that vertigo subsides. Sounds like a lovely day yesterday and that you guys enjoyed the Chinese food as much as we did. I have leftovers for lunch today...yum.

Cindy - hope you got lots of great stuff during the sale. I know what you mean. It's fun to shop but the downloading and storing can drag on. For me, its double duty b/c I store on two EHDs so it can really drag on. But...it keeps everything safe b/c the chances of two drives failing at the same time are pretty low.

Have a wonderful day, everyone. Off to get a second cup of coffee and open up my work computer now.
