Is it just me or did the weekend just go by way to fast???

I seriously need another day. I did not want to get out of bed at all this morning. the good news is that I have a relatively quiet week so I am going to try to set aside some time to relax. (Ha! At least saying it is a start, right? Next step is to actually do it...)

How was everyone's weekend and Mother's Day?

Chris - You have to not just say you're going to set time aside to relax, you also have to act on it girl ! :) The week-end was OK, various stuff to do with the kids, nice weather, AND time to relax. It was not mother's day in France (it will be on the 29th), so no special gifties from the kids yet ;) what about you ?

Mondays suck, but this one does a bit less than usual because my two favourite colleagues are back from holiday. They make work a brighter place for me, so it's pretty neat to have them back :)
Last friday I went and had lunch with a friend I had not met fro over 15 years !!! I saw on his facebook status that he was in Nice for 2 days and we managed to meet. It was both nice and strange ... 15 years .... wow !

have a nice monday and week, I'm off to have lunch (my stomach is growling !!! )
 
Happy Happy MOnday (Sally Cheer- Sally Cheer) Just got back from my early morning beach walk, sitting here with coffee laptop and mr. gorgeous- sun is shining and we are planning our day- going to the lighthouse and shops-need to buy tan lotion and a new baseball cap! It is so warm and sunny- oh yeah loving this. Hope you all have a great day.
 
ugh what a busy weekend...spent most of it trying to help karl any way i could fixing my car....it was leaking from the waterpump......so we replaced that and the inlet tube...took all day saturday to do and some of sunday.....sunday also dh bought me a weeping cherry tree!!! eeeps im so excited for it to GROW! it says it grows moderately fast so hopefully it wont take TOO long to be big and pretty :)
 
GOOD MORNING!!! How is everyone today? I woke up to the biggest baby smiles so my day started off perfect. I had a good birthday/first mothers day. They took me to breakfast then I got my nails done and today we are seeing Thor in 3D! I also have to find a daycare today :( Mario is leaving on the 31st to go back to Reno for a month so with me starting my new job on Tuesday we have to put our baby in daycare :(:(

I'm off to get started on the day, I hope everyone has a great day!
 
Morning ladies!! Hope everyone enjoyed the weekend! I spent some time outside putting in some bedding plants and doing my hanging baskets, it was sunny for a few hours and just I finished the rain started again. Yesterday afternoon was spent cleaning house and getting supper ready for MIL and FIL. We had a very nice visit and MIL loved her gift that she got from us! I facetimed with my kids and grandkids and was feeling very sorry for myself later because they are all so far away and also was missing my mom, she passed two years ago and Mother's day is kind of hard for me :sad:. So not too much relaxation for me this weekend and I was kinda pissed that I did not get to spend any time at all scrapping :mad:. Back to work today and hopefully I can get some time to myself for a change and do what I want to do. Enough complaining!!! :sorry:

Chris - Yes the weekend did go by way to fast!! The only thing good about today is that it's MG's turn to make dinner, so I don't have to cook Horray!!:clap2:. Hope your week is quiet like to you say, take time to do what you want!!

Dumpty - Glad that your two good friends are back at work with you! It always makes the workday a bit better when you can spend it with people that you actually enjoy being with!

Laurie - So happy that you are enjoying your vacation!! Have fun girl and take lots of photos!!

Kristy - Sounds like a busy weekend for sure! But at least you got your vehicle fixed! What a lovely gift you got!! I hope it grows tall and strong for you very soon!!

Kayleigh - What a wonderful way to start the day!! But how sad that you have to now go back to work and put your baby in daycare!! She will adjust to it quicker than you I bet! It's so hard to let them go and be taken care of by someone else, but hopefully she will love it and it will put your mind at ease!

Good morning ladies!!!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!!! and a very happy Mother's Day!!

I won't discuss mine, as it was not very good yesterday...and it was all in part to my DD...and that is all I will say....no need for gory details!!

However...I the rest of the weekend was great!! We had a ball game Friday night and Jesse was spending the night, so he went with us and he had the best time!!! Cameran did extremely well....it's unbelievable how much he has improved over last year!!! And the best part....all of those little boys are having fun!!! It was so cute, after the game the coach got them in their huddle and talked to them, then they all lined up at the fenced and yelled, together, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!

Saturday I did some cleaning and got to spend some time ALONE!!! WOOHOOO!!!! Even three hours was like heaven for a bit!! As you can tell, I don't get much of that!!!

Back to the routine for today....Savannah is down for her nap...which she was so stinkin sleepy....but 30 minutes later...she is still not asleep..she is playing..hollering...throwing everything out of the crib!!! Guess she will go to sleep in a while :)

I am going to leave some love here and then go put some laundry away (uuuuhhhmmm...yes from last week...still folded in the baskets...BLAH!! I hate putting the laundry away!!!)

Chris...........set some time for me to relax too :rofl: I hope you do it for you sweetie!!!!! and YES YES..the weekend FLEW by!!!! I need another WEEK!!! or TWO!!!

Marie!!!!! WOW!!! How cool to meet up with an old friend after all that time!!!! And I glad you Monday is not so bad today!!! Yay for coworkers coming back!!

Kayleigh....Awe...sweetie...sorry about the daycare...this is why I keep my grandchildren...so they don't have to be in daycare. I hope you find a good one for the precious one!!

Trudy.... :hug: :kiss: I am sorry it was hard day for you!!! I know it will be the same for me when that time comes. Watching my Mom yesterday was all too real that she is not young anymore!! One of the things we always do on Mother's Day is play baseball in the yard with the kids..and I can remember when she played too and ran the bases and such when my kids were younger....they conned her into hitting the ball yesterday and it took all her breathe away. Glad you got to talk to your grandbabies!!! LOVE YOU LOTS sweetie!!!!! :hug:

It's nice to read about everyone's weekend -- my older son treated everyone to burgers on the grill at his house. Hubby and I picked up DD and we drove to #1 son's house where his MIL was visiting for the weekend. Hugs & kisses to #1 son, DIL, and grandson. Then, #2 son, his wife and daughter came over -- so it was truly "Hail, Hail, the gang's all here!" for Mother's Day lunch.

My DIL (wife of #1 son) celebrated her birthday last week and we brought her a digital picture frame which I then loaded up with photos from her computer. She had shared the photos from her camera with me the last time we were down to visit, so I also brought her a couple of scrapbook pages which I had made from some of the photos.

This is another week @ work for me. I am taking the afternoon off today to accompany DD to the closing for her new house. This is the first home she's owned and she's very excited about it. After the closing, we'll go shopping for appliances. She's got 5 weeks left on the lease for her apartment, so she's going to get some painting done before she starts moving her stuff into the house. She thinks that by moving her stuff in small batches over the next couple of weeks, she'll be able to put things away as she moves them in -- and then she'll move her furniture over one weekend.

My sister has long contended that the best vacation she could have would be if her hubby packed up all the kids and took them away for 2-3 days and left her all alone in her own house!
 
I am forbidding myself from doing personals today so I can speed things up...so much to do. Tomorrow I am driving up to Cleveland just me and Addie and I have so much to do to get redy o leave the boys and to get packed and ready. Aaaaaaaaaaah! Plus I am not taking my laptop with me and I have a few scrap things I need to do to fulfill some deadlines too. Mondays are always a busy night with Boy Scouts and dance class.

This weekend was nice, but a bit crazy. My in-laws came down from Cleveland. It was a whirlwind trip. They came to get their camper. So, now you are asking if they just came down why am I going up there? So, I am going to Cleveland tomorrow and then the next day driving another 3 hours to Michigan because my dad is visiting his family there and I wanted to surprise him. No one knows I am coming...except for him, who I wanted to surprise but my mom has a big mouth and told him apparently. She's a dork. It is all good. I am excited to see everyone and will be staying with my cousin who I always have a good time with. I am always glad that I don't live there when I leave though because they are always so full of drama amongst themselves. I'm renting a car to go up there. Can you believe that renting a car for $150 will actually save me money? Insane how expensive gas is.

So, off I go to get stuff done. I will have computer access up there but no scrapping. :( I'll be taking lots of pictures to scrap when I get back. Hugs for all.

Welcome to the Daily O's Elsie. We are a great crazy bunch in here and we have a blast. I can't wait to get to know you better as time goes on. Hug!!
 
So Thursday mr. Gorgeous is going golfing in the afternoon, I have a choice to make, massage, shopping or 5 hour boat trip with a photographer to take photos -umm easy peasy lemon squeezy- I am going to sign up for the boat trip!!!!
