Daily Ooo's: Monday May 3

Happy Monday! And a happy happy birthday to MMG, Gary! He is now as old as I am

We did not get off to a good start for his b-day. I had to call 911 last night (man, we really need to donate a huge check to our town's ambulance squad, this is getting to be way too frequent!). Gary started throwing up in the afternoon and it only got worse and worse as the day/night progressed. He is Type 1 diabetic so this can be extra dangerous. He had already had a bad low blood sugar episode in the afternoon, so I was pretty concerned. He needed 3 bags of fluid and two "shots" of two different anti-nausea meds. He got released around 1 am. So the first hour of his b-day was stuck in a hospital bed. Told him there was NO WAY I was giving him a b-day kiss. eeeeewwww!:faint:

But he is home sleeping, clear liquid diet for a while. There goes his b-day dinner/cake. Oh well. We can celebrate tomorrow.

But yay me, I get to deal with today on about 3 hours of sleep.I have a feeling most of the work that I had to do is gonna get pushed off til tomorrow......sound like a plan?

Oh Chris.....I hope Gary feels better after a good sleep today....tell him a big ole happy birthday from Nana!!! and yes, I like your plan to push things off until tomorrow!!!

Well, sorry I did not make it in here this weekend....I was so busy!! I had to clean house, grocery shop, cook and whatever else all day long on Saturday, plus I was popping in here every so often to see what was going on...could not help myself!! I got very irritated Sat afternoon. Youngest SDD was the one who set all of the cookout up, and asked if I would do it with her and do it here....She bailed on me Saturday!!! She was suppose to come here that afternoon and help me get things done, after she got off of work, but she called and said her Mom decided to come into town, so she was going to visit with her!!! I was seeing RED!!! But the extra adrenaline got me going and I got it all done!!! I got up Sunday morning and finished everything...Mike cooked burgers and hotdogs on the grill for almost 2 hours (there were suppose to be around 30 people coming). Sharon called me and said they might not come because they had no water at their house....UGGH...worrying about that now....but her and the kids ended up coming....Traci called and said her car broke down and wanted to know if anyone could come and get them...they live 30 minutes away now, so that wasn't possible, so they did not get to come....UUGGHHH again.....then almost no one else showed up!!! There were only 9 of us here....ANYONE NEED HAMBURGERS????? I sent as many as possible home with everyone that came!!! I told Mike I would never do anything with his side of the family again....they all said they were coming and did not show up.....that was a first!!! We still had a nice time. but today this is me -----> :faint:I feel like a truck ran over me!!!

Good news.....I GOT TICKETS TO CARRIE UNDERWOOD ON SATURDAY!! YAY!!! She is coming to town in November!!! Don't go to concerts too often any more, but I would love to see her. (Long way from my KISS concert days...hahahahaha)

Right now I am waiting for the guy who is coming to fix the water for Sharon...it's Mike's BF...that is what he does....It appears to be the pump. But we will see. He is suppose to call me when he is on the way I am going to take him over there.

I guess I better run...I need to get up from here and DO SOMETHING!!!

ohhhh wow!! you two have had a weekend, huh? HUGS to both of you!!!! and happy bday to gary!! I just wrote on his fb wall!! teehee!!

I'm sporting my crazy "I LOVE MONDAYS" attitude today!! IT's sooo gorgeous here and wonderful and the kids are fighting and emma doesn't feel good and oh well, I just told them that I was still gonna keep my good attitude, but they better not expect any extra goodies today!!

LOL!!! btw, why don't houses clean themselves??? just sayin'...

Ohhh I had soo much fun this weekend with {i}nsd!! That hunt was perfect!! So perfect I've left it up a little extra today!! so fun, huh?

Well, I guess that's all that's exciting here. Gonna craft for the next couple hours before I have to take my son to the gym, then the grocery store, then cora to the gym, then the library then pick up cora and quentin! LOL!! emma is usually in the mix there, too, but she's not feeling well, so we'll just exonerate her from the gym today!

wow- guess my weekend was low key - just shopping and today at work dh surprise me with flowers - love that man- yes I have taken photos , need to take more though and do a layout - stargazer lilies.
