CHEERY O
My weekend went by in a blur- too much sitting on my butt, watching TV in a medicated haze. I don't like that!
But at least, I am pretty sure my pain is all Lyme related, it is starting to migrate to my bottom ribs.

Scott had a nice-sih b-day. Jen - his now Ex-GF- came over for cake on Saturday. They are staying friends, which is good for both of them.
Sunday my parents, my brother, SIL and my new Godson came up for brunch, Yes--ya'll read that right!
My Brother and SIL are in the process of adopting a little baby boy. There is still about a one month window before it is official, but we are hopeful that this is going to work out perfectly. Just wait- you'll be seeing lots and lots of pics of him in the gallery. he is soooo beautiful and I adore that little one already. I didn't want to give him back when they had to leave. LOL

Any prayers for Kaylea (kaytebug) would be appreciated, I am sure. I saw some of her FB posts that she has been in the midst of the tornado warnings. Sally, have you spoken to her? I hope that she and her family are all safe.

Me Me monday- well, since I didn't do much of anything this weekend, I am going to try to slowly putter around the house, get the muscles moving a bit.

Off to the bus- will catch up with everyone in a bit!

Chris - congrats on new Godson
Praying for Kaylea- Joplin got hit hard, not sure where she lives- but wow- more destruction. I thought I was going to put my dog outside today, but we are having thunderstorms throughout the day. So happy I enjoyed being outside yesterday and the day before.

Linda S- hi hon!! Glad that you were able to have a nice day with Mom. How are you doing? Kids??
Hope that you got some scrap therapy in. I am sure you need it.

Clara- hahahaah! That is my kind of pastor! very cute!
Argh! I hear you on the standardized testing. Its all a bunch of BS to me. And "New math" that is even stranger. Its like 1+1=2, just add the numbers together, right? No! why do you need to round up to 100, divide by 2.68, add the next number in the sequence, and still get 2? Scott was doing some percentage problem out loud the other day, and it was insane. All he had to do was move the decimal, but it became some tortured fraction problem.

I can't believe ADSR is still going on! Is it longer than usual or is this the way is always was?

kristy- whew! So glad that you are feeling better!

Hugs~~~~~

Chris...what thrilling news for your brother and s-i-l. So happy for the entire family!! Sorry that you aren't feeling better. Good morning Laurie.

Praying for the families involved in the nasty tornadoes throughout the midwest.

The kids have 10 days of school remaining. Going really late this year! So they are a bit wild right now.

No scrap therapy for me last night...but still hopeful about tonight. :-)

last 2 days of school today is Raianna's 4th grade graduation and i dont know anything about it just found out about it THIS MORNING!! grrrrrrr...so this is gonna be interesting! gah! kids!

Morning, girlies!!!! I'm whipping up a tutorial for a fabric manufacturer's blog (super excited about it!!) this morning...so that's really my today's work! I've started getting up a bit earlier than I like because I hate it when Mr Gorgeous poops out on me at 10pm! LOL!! So I'll get up early with him and poop out with him at 10!!! (this is a stretch for me...just sayin'!! you know I really love this man!!)

Totally praying for Missouri and the Joplin area. Kaylea posted on FB that her family (her parents are just outside of Joplin) is all okay, but she has friends who have lost loved ones in the devastation! I can't imagine!! I see now why there are so many end times philosophers out there right now! Isn't this unheard of? I'm kinda worried a little bit more about hurricane season now!! (I'm not really worried...I don't live in a worried state...hurts my body too much!)

Anyway, enough about philosophy...Chris, I'm praying for that pain!! Glad Scott had a good birthday!

Linda, I love to hear your positive updates with your fam, hun!! Praying you get some MeMetime scrapping today!!

Laurie, send some of that rain down here!!!!!!! and sooo glad you had fun outside yesterday!!

Kristy, have fun at the graduation! Take tissues...ohhh that's just me, too...I cry at anything!!

and to everyone else that pops in, have a WONDERFUL, New-Beginnings, Monday!!

love you all

CHRIS!!!!!!! Whoohoo!! I will be praying for your brother that everything goes at it s supposed. I'm sure this month will be worrisome for them but I am so excited for you and them. I know how much they have struggled. 3rd time's a charm, right?

Anyway, I need some Sally energy for my Monday. I have started getting really anxious in my house. We hve too much stuff and not enough house so our house always looks cluttered and messy. I'm gonna put stuff on craigslist this week. I am just hating stuff. Yuck!!

Well, I am not going to ramble on today. My head still hurts. I'm gonna see the doctor about this nasty sinus stuff tomorrow...plus I need to talk to her about having been exposed to mono. My aunt was diagnosed as we left Michigan and she made us dinner and stuff and I'm sure she gave me a kiss in the process and I spent a lot of time with her. So, we'll see. Mono I can deal with. It would knock me out for two weeks and I'd be okay. But I am just so freaked out about getting Epstein Barr again. I already wrote about this I believe. I'm just worried. Vitamins make you invincible, right? LOL!!

Chris - HUgs for you and your feeling yucky!! I hope it mellows out soon. Lots of flare ups lately. Bring on the warm weather. I know you feel better in the summer. You are always welcome to come down here for warmth. It gets warm so much earlier and stays warm longer. I am not looking forward to summer here. I'm so glad I'll be spending a month of it in Washington.

Laurie - My husband is mad at our dog for continually getting in the garbage so he has been banished to the outside for a couple of days. I'm glad we haven't had thunderstorms.

LindaS - So glad to see you in here today. I've been thinking about you. I sure hope you get that scrap therapy soon. I know when I need scrap therapy I needed it like yesterday.

Kristy - 2 more days of school? Wow!! That is early. Our kids get out mid June. Have fun at the graduation.

Sally - How fun to being a tutorial. I'm glad you have gotten so involved in quilting. I know how much you love it. I'm with you about those philosophers. But with all the craziness that has happened this year I understand them a little. Enjoy your Monday. I'm trying to channel you a little bit.

the beauty of a laptop, is you can charge it up before the storm hits and wait for it to pass by scrapping- especially when the rains block the dish signals-sounds like hail- guess I will get the camera out!
