It is a gorgeous, even if a little chilly, day today. I wish I could send this weather to you all.

How was your weekend? I feel like mine was a blur, but a happy blur. Bridal shower on Saturday, my mom's for Mother's Day breakfast, and then some time in the garden. It was fantastic. :)
I wish I had all day to myself today but no such luck. Gary and I have to go to the LLMD this morning. Blergh.... I was looking over my symptom tracker and other than the few weeks after I broke my foot, I have been feeling good. I really want to stop taking the abx, really and truly do. I'll have to see what she says and what the bloodwork picks up. I'd hate to come off them now and relapse again.

I have a bunch of stuff I need to do before we leave, so I am going to sign off.

HAGD!! :hug3:

Today should be another beautiful day to sit outside. Its bright bright bright sunny. The only time I'm sorry my bedroom window faces sunrise, summer. The suns showing her beautiful rays by 5 a.m. and they manage to get around my blackout curtains. No more sunsets for me until fall. No more sunrises until fall either. Almost 18 hours of sunshine now. Well, must finish getting ready for church and get another cup of coffee.
That is so wild for daylight to be so long. I don't know how you all adjust your sleep cycles with that. Or how you don't sleep all day during the winter.
Enjoy the weather and your coffee!

@AK_Tracy It's hard to imagine that much daylight but it grows huge vegetables!!! I think I would have a hard time with no sunsets or sunrises. I am so in love with them.

We had 5 1/2 inches of rain yesterday and last night so our set up will be soggy. We leave about noon for our summer trip. Spent all day yesterday in final prep. All I have to put in the trailer is the refrigerator and freezer foods. Last night a friend had a going away party so there were 10 of us eating, talking, laughing and loving each others friendship. I will miss them all but time to travel.
Sadly there are only 8 baby ducks so I hope they make it till I get home. My pond friend will be looking out for them.

@faerywings You always have busy weekends so glad you got into your gardens...nothing like dirty hands from gardening! Good luck at Dr.

Off to finish loading. Ill be posting our adventures on FB if anyone want to follow along.

Good morning ladies. I had a blast on my birding trip to photograph the grouse. Unfortunately no female showed up at the lek which would have gotten the males to really go crazy but it was still so much fun to see them motoring along like little helicopters and making their crazy sounds. 4 hrs sitting in a bird blind was hard on my back and I paid for it yesterday with sciatic pain going down my one leg but today is better. It was worth it :) Our next trip will be next month. We'll drive thru southern Alberta, into Saskatchewan and go birding along the way.

I'm busy making jewelry. I've got my first market in 3 wks so need to get things done. Started watching White Lotus S3 and am enjoying it.

@faerywings Hope you get good news for the ABX.
@AK_Tracy All that sunshine sounds wonderful!
@BoatLady Enjoy your trip. You have such a wonderful life!

I've got to go look at some design ideas for my product tags. My labels look good, I'm very happy with them.

Time for more coffee now.

Today is beautiful. I went out this morning for a walk and then played an hour of pickleball but now I need to go to work. My weekend was soooo good! My sister and I went to Park City Utah - a lovely ski resort town on Saturday and spent the night and then we went to the Broadway show Wicked in Salt Lake for Mother's Day. The show was absolutely fantastic. Loving the start of my week so far. Hope you all have a great day.

Black out curtains! Or tin foil on the windows LOL Not sure we really adjust. Schedules get crazy cause you forget what time it is and the sun doesn't tell you its almost midnight.

Yes they do grow big veggies. You have to be more interior to get those amazing temps for veggies though.
We leave about noon for our summer trip
Have a blast!!!! Cant wait to see all the photos you take on this trip.

Saturday was glorious and sunny and HOT. So glad I sat outside and enjoyed it. Sunday was beautiful but cool with the winds. Today is pouring rain. It will help knock down pollen and green things up. I wont mind being inside since its raining. Dinner just might get made today.

@bcgal00 have fun with the jewelry.

Have a wonderful day!

We had a lovely weekend. Spent Saturday afternoon at a beautiful winery with friends and I paid for it by just falling asleep when we got home. David had to come up with his own dinner that evening.

Yesterday he cleaned the deck and the outdoor furniture. As he was putting the umbrella back in the glass-top table he dropped it. Ka-bloom! A pile of little glass pieces on the deck, and no more table top. Just as we enter into outdoor dining season! I ordered a new set from Costco, and it should come Thursday, but I was definitely not planning on that expense this month.

We are on the northern edge of that rainstorm that's soaking the south, so we are forecast for a rainy day. We need it. So far it's just gray and feels clammy. It's chilly this morning, so when David lifted up a tarp covering some lumber in the back yard, he discovered a tangle of 3 or 4 black snakes, I guess too cold to move. Gives me the heebie jeebies but he says they're good for eating mice. I hope he knows what he's talking about.

It's an inside day so I'm going to try to catch up on some pages for my Project Life. Maybe do a challenge. I have to go grocery shopping but if I do it too early on Monday they haven't stocked up yet from the weekend, so I'll hold off til after lunch.

Good afternoon,
I was MIA over the weekend and busy. I think I may have made a few comments on my challenge pages but that was it.

Saturday's Bible study and my devotional went well. Came home and began prep for the company we were expecting for supper. They didn't leave until around 9:30. I started reading for my widows' devo for tomorrow until I could no longer hold my eyes open.

Sunday after church we came home and changed clothes and went to my daughter's house 20 minutes away and spent the afternoon with her and the family for Mother's Day celebration.

After we got home around 5 I began typing my notes for tomorrow's devotional for the widows' meeting.

Today I made the church deposit and picked up Mark's Ozempic prescription and started cleaning out the email. And checking out my challenge and catching up here.

Just a few more things here and tidying up the devotional for tomorrow and I might be caught up!

No lunch with Mark today. Tummy wasn't up to it.

It's a chilly, rainy day here and I'm trying not to kick the furnace on for a bit. Need to take the flipflops off and replace them with my fuzzy house slippers and fix some hot tea. Definitely no walking for me today.

Have a great afternoon!

Yes, my weekend was a blur of activity, too! Hope good news comes from your LLMD this morning!

Yeah, Mark won't kill a black snake unless he is aggressive! I'm with you....the heebie jeebies!

Morning, all. The girls picked up some Mexican food take out for our Mother Day's supper. We were up until 11 PM last night talking.. and we all ended up sleeping in until 8AM this morning. Decided we needed a good breakfast so fixed bacon and waffles. The girls are back over at Grandson's house cleaning and getting some repairs done there. Still have a lot that needs to be done.
While they were doing that yesterday, I ran a couple of errands... and picked up some paper supplies,... toilet paper, paper towels and tissues.... as the base didn't have any at the commissary when I made my last trip there.

I was LOL this morning as I commented to DD#1 this morning... "I'm not paranoid" as I picked up the landline phone to check and make sure it was still working!!! We both got the giggles over that. Guess it will take a while before I stop worrying about it not working!!!

Time to get my shower and get dressed. Have a few chores to do around the house. I may get around to do some scrapping this afternoon as the girls will not be back until supper time. HAGD
