Daily Ooo's: Monday, March 6

Another freezing cold morning out here. I can't get warm! 11*. That warm weather we had a week or so ago was such a tease. ~~ %@&%$#@* :yell:

At least it is sunny- could alway be worse with snow.

I cleaned the LR, kitchen, and DR yesterday, really scrubbed everything, esp in the kitchen. After a quick lunch, I scrapped a LO for Rae's 52 Insp Challenge. That was nice to be able to do. But I still don't feel "rested" at all. Why is that??

Today, I am going to try to call the FamilyCare dept to check in for Scott's Insurance enrollment date. I also need to make appts for myself for my eyes/contacts and for my breast surgeon check up.
I also have to see if Caitlyn's ins covered eye/vision too. She is saying that she feels like she is having a harder and harder time reading the board in class. There is more on my list but it is all boring catch-up-on-life stuff.

I start my Tindamax routine today, so I should try to get as much done as I can today in case I have a rough cycle again.

Nancy- you are a good mom going to IKEA. On the one hand, I love the place, it has so many cool ideas and items, but OTOH, you need a map just to walk in the door. It has been years since I have been to one and I am in no rush to go back. How awesome that he got what he needed. Not so awesome when you think about putting it all together. ound:

Oh wow. I just read what Rae wrote, and I am now doubly thankful we are only cold and no snow. Sorry to hear that you got another 5". This is one of the craziest weather seasons that I can remember.
Did Jen hear anything about the apt? *fingers crossed for good news*
I am shocked that the rehab was so adamant about not smoking. That makes NO sense to me. In the grand scheme of things, cigarettes is so much better than heroin. I get that nicotine is a "drug" but so is methadone and that is ok for addicts...
grrr. No common sense in this world anymore.

good morning - well it is cold but tomorrow I will be in the sun and warm weather. I am taking my youngest son for his 30th birthday to Phoenix. We will be staying with relatives and we are going to take many of them to the Devils vs Coyotes game on Sat night. That should be fun. I checked out the temps and lows in the low 60s and highs in the upper 80s I can't wait. Laundry is done and now to pack it away and make sure all my electronics are ready to go. I will try to check in but I may just be enjoying the sun too much LOL. My Devils are still losing. Yesterday found out that 5 of my regulars are either injured or out for personal reasons so it looked like my AHL team was playing. And so they lost to the BlueJackets 3-0 which was not as bad as it could have been. So have a few errands to run.

Chris congrats on the cleaning! That is awesome! Good luck with the phone calls! And I hope your tindamax is not too bad this week.

Trudy hope you feel better and drink lots of water. Have fun swimming.

Rae I am so sorry to hear that about Bailey. It is frustrating. Yes you would think there would be a bit of common sense when it comes to prioritizing addiction treatment. Hope Jen gets her apartment! And glad you got the snow but I do like fresh snow. Luckily in March it melts pretty fast!

Morning ladies... feeling better today and DH and I got out for a nice long walk along the Trans Canada trail so the fresh air really did wonders for me and him! He now has a sore knee again poor guy, no cartilage left in his one knee so walking a long distance really aggravates it! He will be seeing the dr. in the next month or so to get refills on his medication for hyatis hernia (not sure if that is the spelling?) so he will talk to her then about getting on the list for a knee replacement Ugh!

Chris - You were a cleaning machine yesterday! I usually try to get all my housecleaning done on Sunday also, but yesterday was a write off with the way I was feeling and only managed to get my bed stripped and clean sheets put on it for the week. Hoping I can do a bit more today. Oh and today I go for my facial, so I am looking forward to that! Sure wish I could get more scrapping done, it just seems like it never happens for me. Something else always gets in the way :sad: Good luck with your calls today and hope that Cait will be covered for optical! Good luck also with the Tindamax hopefully it won't kick your butt this time!

Nancy - sorry that your Devils are continuing their losing streak! They looked like they might beat the Bruins the other night, it was a pretty good game! Wow aren't you a great Mom for taking your youngest to Phoenix! I hope you have a wonderful time and soak up all that warm delicious sunshine! Wish we could all join you!! Enjoy!

Rae - How sad that Bailey is not doing well! I sure hope things turn around for her! Yes crazy that they will not let her have a cigarette once in a while, I mean really whats more important her smoking or getting off drugs!! :rant: What are they thinking!! Hope your snow has melted, but sounds like this whole week is going to be filled with crazy winter weather again! Stepped on the scale and I am up a pound?? WTH ? It was a disappointment, but now I need to try harder I guess? Who knows why I can never seem to lose more than 5 pounds on anything I try. But onward and upward I will keep going! Alrighty I am going to get my housework done and then get ready to get my facial then hopefully I will finally get some scrapping done before deciding what the heck to have for supper tonight I hate planning suppers!! Why does my day always seem to revolve around food?? Ugh! :wave:

Hi everyone...last night our family watched Fast and Furious 6. I had never seen any of the other movies, but this one was great! I really enjoyed it! Today I must scrap, wash cars and take dog for a walk. How???

Good morning, ladies. Woke up to another few inches of snow on the ground but its in the 40's so it'll be melting throughout the day and we have snow/rain over the next few days. Crazy weather. I have pics from Sat of the dogs outside in the sunshine and then Sun in the snow LOL. I won't be online much today so I can get lots of desk work done (especially while Jen is away at work as I'm not distracted by her being here and spending my time chatting and hanging out with her when I should be working). She found an apartment 5 minutes away and is moving mid month. It's a new house and she has a ground floor small apartment which should be perfect for her and Noel. She's excited but sad to be leaving us in a few wks. I'm happy that we've been able to help her during this transition.
