Good morning and welcome to a new week! Did everyone enjoy the weekend?
What a fantastic weather day it was yesterday. Just amazing! Sunny and 65* I wish it could be like that the rest of this week too but it's supposed to cool down and rain for much of it. Glad I was outside for a few hours to soak it in.
Yesterday's field trip was a little chaotic in spite of the perfect weather. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot, I should have known. SMH! No parking spaces. I park in my boss's driveway (she lives on-site) and walk down to see where else I can park. Another staff member showed me where to go along with a heads-up that someone had collapsed and EMTs were on the way. By the time I get back to my car, the police are blocking the entire parking lot. I texted my boss that I'll move as soon as I can. The person fainted during a Wilderness First Aid class so at least she was in good hands while waiting on the EMTs
Needless to say, we were a little off balance getting prepped but not too bad. The group was Cub Scouts and a lot of them LOL 29 people in the group- kids and parents. The boys were full of spring fever energy I never did get a chance to move my car either.
That was my last opportunity to do the Sugaring program so by next year I'll forget it all. Lots of field trips to get ready for next month.
Today-- is going to be a mash-up, I think. My main goal is to clean out the fridge and place my grocery order. Laundry. Coloring Crew is this afternoon if I can get everything else figured out.
Whatever you do today, I hope you have a great time doing it
