Ah, man! My computer is doing wonky stuff. I am going to have to post this quickly and reboot. Then I am going to need to go out a shovel this crummy white stuff. Gary was outside at 10 pm shoveling. I was fast asleep and W was whining so I got up to ask him if she had been outside recently and I couldn't find him. Crazy man was in the driveway and that was why she was whining.

College classes are canceled which is a relief. Scott had to be on campus yesterday but he called to say that he was crashing on a friend's sofa in the dorms. (A sofa? In a dorm? When I was lived in the dorms, it was a small cinderblock room with 2 beds, desks, dressers bolted to the walls.)
We are supposed to be taking the dogs to the vet at 9 but I guess I will have to call in a bit to see if they are open.

We has a fun breakfast with my parents. I am really impressed with both of them how they are accepting of Cait's rats. My mom fed them fruit and my dad let Delia sit on his shoulder for a few seconds. They never did that with Clover and Muffin- I think that the red eyes freaked them out a lot.
I placed my shop from home grocery order so I can pick that up on my way home from the Drs tomorrow. Glad to have that out of the way.

xoxo!

Lorraine- I hope that this week is an easier one for you. I was really "lucky" (such a double-edged sword) when I was on IV abx and saline drips, I had to do my infusions at home since my ins wouldn't cover it. Gary would hook me up and do my PICC dressing changes. But even though he did that which was a lot on him and on our finances, I didn't have to drive anywhere and could do the infusions when it was convenient for me, usually after dinner while watching tv or when I was working on scrap stuff at my computer. If I had to drive somewhere do it-- I don't know if I could.
However, if that is what it took for my kids to get healthy, I would drive cross country if I had to as you would too. Hugs to you, Super-Mom!!

Rae- How pretty it must have been on your hike, I am sure that you were able to get a lot of good photos. Thx for the review of WC- I hope to give it another episode or two to see if Gary warms up to it. I hated the first few episodes of Brooklyn 99 but now I think it is hysterical.
I was having second thoughts last week about the surgery. My other surgeries were no-brainers-- Cancer-- get it out and NOW. Hysterectomy- no more writhing on the floor in pain? Do IT!! But this one feels much more optional- until the last few days, I am noticing that more and more of my foot and leg are numb from it being on a nerve. And it is on the same tendon that would swell up really badly when I had Lyme Flares, so it isn't going to get better. I just dread the recovery part of it. I am not good with that.

Anyway, I am procrastinating about dealing with the snow....
Better get my act together.

Love and warm hugs!

Just a quick in and out this AM. I couldn't seem to get moving yesterday so missed Bible class and barely made it to church on time. Then couldn't figure out what to have for lunch so had a couple of slices of toast with cheese, chips and miniolas. Did a bit of scrapping for a couple of my designers then read the rest of the day away. I was feeling blue so tried to keep my mind busy with other things. Fell asleep before 8:30 PM and slept until 6:30AM... guess my body/mind needed the rest.

Chris, you are having the "pre-surgery" jitters - wondering if it will be worth it. BTDT Feet and leg going numb means it needs to be taken care of ASAP! Hang in there, gal. You will be happier once it is done and you have recovered.

WOW, so many are dealing with way too much snow!!! So sorry you are getting hammered. Can't imagine your DH out shoveling snow at that time of night! Glad they cancelled classes. Hope you get a break and the snow melts away soon.

Need to get some more scrapping done and LOs uploaded. CYL

Morning everyone!! Brrrr!! Its cold here this morning! but the sun is shining and it looks like it will be a lovely day! Our front lawn never see the sunshine in the warmer part of the day so we still have a couple of feet of snow on it. Everyone else's lawns are green with only a few patches of snow left :mmph: Oh well one day we will be cursing that we have to cut the grass again! Never happy are we :becky: I was MIA from here yesterday, but as usual DH had me helping him with lots of things around the house and outside. He even washed the windows outside and boy were they dirty!! So nice now, but that means that I will have to wash the inside of the windows soon :pout: MIL and FIL dropped by after church to pick up some wine that we bottled for them and stayed for a cup of coffee. They hardly ever stay, so it was nice to visit with them! They wanted to see the finished staircase and they were very impressed by how well it turned out.

Chris - Ugh you are still having to shovel snow!! When will this winter ever end for you!! It is unusually cold here, but at least we are done with the snow! (at least I hope we are!) A relief at least that College classes were cancelled and no one has to drive in the snowy conditions! You must have gotten quite a bit of snow if your Gary was outside at 10pm to shovel!!

How nice that you had a great visit with your parents, they sound like such a great couple! Nice that they are warming up to the rats too! Oh I did get what I wanted at Michaels, lots of canvas bundles and the right sized one for Heather's painting which I will start to work on today. A few new paints too, so I am happy! Fully stocked freezer now that we visited Costco but a sad looking bank account LOL. Hope that you don't have to shovel anymore snow today!! Keep warm and cozy today!

:hello: to everyone! I will return later on and catch up, but right now I need to get coupons out to the challenge winners for February's challenges. TTYL!!

Good morning, ladies. I'll be posting it later but I let Vicki know yesterday that I'm stepping down from the CT team. But I'm still going to be around, just not behind the scenes.

The plan is to get B home to us in the coming months and the next step is getting her into a transition group home to hopefully for a bit and then get her home here. So the mtg tomorrow morning is an important one as we discuss options for interim care for her. So, long story short, I want to scrap more, do less duties and enjoy my "me" time when I have it. Life is going to remain stressful for a long time and I want to enjoy some scrapy therapy time and really get back into it.

So, anyway, I'll still be around :)

Yesterday was a great day for B and I. D is having problems with his Crohn's so he stayed home and rested. I brought up some scrap supplies. I stamped flowers, then B and I watercolored them. On another visit we will cut them out and mount them onto cards. She loved it. She did really well with the coloring too which was great to see! Made breakfast for dinner last night and enjoyed scrambled eggs and bacon. Caught up on some episodes of L&O SVU and relaxed for the evening. Today and tomorrow are busy work days so will be doing desk work until later tonight so not much going on today other than work and a few walks with Taz.

Chris - sounds like you're apprehensive about the ganglion surgery but it's been ongoing for so long, I bet it'll feel good when it's taken care of. I'm sorry you still have snow but....you can keep it :) I am glad our snow is mostly melted away and I just want it to warm up. I didn't enjoy last night's walk with Taz and I know it's b/c I'm sick of feeling cold even though I bundled up to take him out last night (I know, I am a big baby lol).

Kay - sorry you are feeling blue, hope today is a better day.

Trudy - you are so right, soon we'll be complaining about all the yard work and mowing the lawn LOL. I don't ever remember feeling so tired of winter before as I do this year. When the temps hit 60 I will be so happy. Although it doesn't look like it'll happen this month.

I'm getting to work now after grabbing another coffee. Hope you all have a great day!

Ok I am back... needed to grab another coffee and then Heather and Hunter called for a quick facetime. Her iPhone was low on battery so we couldn't talk very long. Oh I forgot to mention that today is my Sweet Sadie's (granddaughter) 9th birthday! Wow hard to believe that she is that old already, where has the time gone?

Kay - We cross posted this morning, I am sorry that you are feeling blue! Sounds like you will be busy today getting lots of scrapping done, hope that it cheers you up a bit! Wish I could have had your good sleep hours last night! I tossed and turned for most of the night and now I feel like a zombie

.

Rae - You already know how sad I am about you leaving the CheeryO's ! But I know that B's and your well being is so much more important! I am happy that you will continue to touch base with us here  I know that you will have your scrap therapy too, so that is a good thing! It really helped me out when we went through all those years of getting Heather back on her feet again too! Still hope that one day we can meet up and spend a nice day together! How wonderful that B is enjoying your card making! Fun for both of you to do! Perhaps you and Taz will get a walk in the sunshine this afternoon when it is a bit warmer!

Well I need to make the bed, empty the dishwasher and then get the floors vacuumed and washed. Hopefully spend some time scrapping and hope to get Heather's painting done today too! Have a great Monday everyone!

Rae, so sorry to hear you are stepping down as a CT member, but understand that Real Life needs must come first. Keep popping in and let us know how things are going for you. Hope things will work out for B with the interim housing and then home to you. So glad she had fun with the crafts.

Trudy, glad you had a nice visit with the in-laws. Would love to see the staircase now that it is all done. The photos look so nice. What a huge job that was.

just see this L O L , Trudy is killing me!
Hi girls!
This year I even didn't make illusion that is possible to go on the Liberation day celebrations. The whole family have a cold again  , so no chance to travel and not fair to stay at the throng. I already knew TV channel who make a great program showing all the ceremonies from the battlegrounds, so we really enjoyed watching it with cup of tea. It's so annoying, after the whole healthy way of life we try to follow, there isn't a month this winter, which we to misses to not catch cold or flu  .
That was yesterday, but today is working day and nothing special. I just dragged around with temperature pretending working process.

Chris, oh, dear more snow for you sounds me as a bad joke from the Mother Nature! It's great that your parents was able to come in this weather! Good luck with the vet appt, but I suppose it will be canceled!

Kay, oh sorry you feels blue! Are you have music album that helps you lift your spirit?! Listen on max always helps me. I'm impressed from your ability to concentrate in book when your brain is buzzing!

Trudy, first Happy birthday to Sadie! Wish her one funny year! Her photo with the baby Mickey Mouse wrapped at blanket with cats print is one of the most cutest kids photos which I'm ever saw!
I told you this often, but just can't to skip it: you're so lucky with such a supportive and emancipated husband. Yes, I was taught the same yesterday, soon will have to mow the yard.

Rae, sorry to hear you step back from the CT team, your 52 words are always so creative! But this is temporary, I hope! Great news that they will finally allows you to take B home! Institution are so oppress and stressful. I'm sure home decor will help her improvement! Hope you'll be able to find good med assistant to help you at care for her!
