Daily Ooo's: Monday, March 30

Happy happy Monday!!!!
I am hoping for a happy Monday here too. I saw on FB that people in my town were sharing pics of snow outside this morning. Then I continued to scroll down and I started to see people posting Statuses about The Walking Dead and I closed that tab out right there. We DVR'd the finale and will watch it tonight but my goodness, People, watch the Spoilers you post!:Cry:
No one posted anything too spoiler-y, but I saw one that made me start putting some pieces together. So No social Media for me.

How was everyone's weekend? I hope that you are all rested up and ready to go for the week.
I finished up the two little crocheted mice cat toys yesterday. And wouldn't you know? Neither cat will play with them. I said to Gary, very indignantly- I slaved over that crochet hook for 2 days and they don't even appreciate what I did for them. :rofl:

To add insult to injury, I showed Scott and Caitlyn the finished mice, and Scott tells me that I am officially "old." Sitting bed, crocheting. Old. *facepalm*

Today I am off to the dentist for the rest of my teeth cleaning and I guess to get the scoop if I have any cavities. Then tonight-- The Walking Dead... I am going to go through withdrawal with that. But I think Orphan Black comes back in April? I like mind-bendy TV shows and wow that one is good! And the actor who plays all of the characters, just. wow.

Hmmm, maybe I am "old" - all I am talking about is TV shows and crocheting.

Gary has so many of them, that I have learned to ignore, so this one is actually hard since I can't get a good look around. I know that he has these silly plastic skull/eyeball Halloween decorations on the TV shelf. He doesn't really adore them, but they are so out of place in the LR.

Trudy- not too many signs of spring here, so please enjoy your's for me! Although I have been really stuffy and t doesn't feel like a cold. I can't imagine that there is enough growth to trigger allergies??
The Designer Trivia Game is HARD!!!! I like trying to figure them all out though.

Hi everyone!
We had a very wet, rainy weekend!
So we stayed at home! Hubby watched the F1 races and I scrapped!
And now I have a bad cold! I'm sneezing all the time! Fortunately I have no headache!
Doing a bit cleaning today! And I have my little granddaughter to take care of!

Morning O fam- I enjoyed the weekend. DH and I talked about our future plans- he would like to move closer to the business. I know what needs to happen will happen. I am heading to the scales for my weigh in and then to get ready for work. Have marvelOus days!!

I´m on season 3 from Lost and it´s getting more exciting from episode to episode.
I cleaned the house a little bit from the week end mess . Dh goes shoppping , my son is at work, my daughter is happy with watching "dance moms" (or whatever it is called) and I hope I have a few minutes or hours to scrap and stay here a little bit.

good morning! My Devils have been officially eliminated from the hockey play offs. I knew it was only a matter of time but Trudy is was the Boston Bruins win that did it LOL. My team lost to the Ducks 2-1. We are competitive but just not good enough. I have only two home games left. But luckily I will see them play the final two games in Florida. My sons talked me into playing fantasy hockey and this is the last week and it has come down to me and my youngest son in the championship. Too funny! So even if my Devils can't win I am winning! I have stuff I should do laundry and grocery shopping. But I want to scrap so I will do laundry and shop tomorrow. Monday's I have found are bad days for shopping as everyone has shopped over the weekend and the shelves have to be restocked on Monday's. Good excuse right. LOL

Chris my son has been trying to catch up on walking dead. He really likes that show. We had no snow just some rain showers. Hope it gets up to 50s. We need it. And stop the wind!

Margje sounds like the rain was good as you scrapped. Have fun with your granddaughter!

Laurie always good to talk about the future.

Trudy on my walks I have seen crocuses so that is my first and only sign of spring but I will take it.

Just a quick fly by right now. Chris, spray the mice with catnip, or buy the real thing and let the mice live in a nest of it for a few hours!

I got nothin' again. Laundry. OH! I did decide to wean myself off Facebook. I have to maintain an account in order to access the iPhoneography and Mobile Phone Artistry sites, but I've removed the tab to my own FB page and don't plan to go there again. It is so addictive...and to what end? Mostly it just sucks time away...for me, at least. Maybe the rest of you are more disciplined.

The one thing DH has I would like to get rid of is the catch-all he has on top of his dresser...you know...the leather thingy with sections for change, keys, etc. It was a gift from the girlfriend he dumped for me...in 1964! You'd think 51 years later I could just dust it and move on! LOL I guess it is a good reminder that I'm the one that got him, not her.

Chris - If you are old then I am a Dinosaur!! You have to do something to occupy your time while you are not working!! Hope that soon the signs of spring are all around you! Sure hope that you are not going to have to deal with a cold right now on top of everything else!! It doesn't seem likely that it could be allergies , but who knows?? :noidea: I know the Designer Trivia Game is hard, so I am glad that it was the designers who gave these little snippets. Margje - It rained all day here yesterday too!! Lots of housework got done, but not much else :sad: I never seem to be able to get much scrapping done with DH around, he thinks that I should spend every minute of the weekends away from the computer LOL. How nice that you have your granddaughter with you!! I am jealous!!

Laurie - Happy Monday to you! That will be exciting for you to get a new place to live!! It is a PITA to move, but exciting too!!

Nancy - Sorry to hear that your team is out of the play offs!! DH was telling me all the points that the teams either got or did not get, so he was a very happy man! But I don't imagine that the Bruins will go too far in the playoffs, unless they have been saving the good stuff for the end!! :becky: Glad to hear that you are getting some signs that spring is arriving!!

Sharon - :wave: Oh my goodness your husband still has something from an old girlfriend?? That is too funny!! Guess he probably doesn't even think of it as being from her, just something to hold his change in LOL. Hope your day has a bit more excitement than just doing :washing: today!

QOTD - My husband has a thing for collecting socks!! I can't get one more pair stuffed into that drawer of his, I wish he would get rid of some them. Otherwise he is pretty good about not keeping anything to strange. We are boring!! :becky:

I wanted to share that the Christmas card I sent Marie (Dumpty) as part of the 2013 O'Christmas card exchange showed up THIS MORNING in my box! It was returned to sender as undeliverable. I hope all is well with Marie ... I see she has not posted in a very long time :frown: Edit: I checked FB and Marie seems to being doing well :--)

I post this here because maybe this means there is still hope for Phylis's package ... fingers crossed. :high5:
