Happy Monday, O-zies!
it is finally feeling more like "Spring," if you can call it that. It is raining- again, but won't be as cold. I guess I can call that progress. Hopefully, that will give me a much-needed kick in the butt to get myself making some progress too.

What did I do yesterday? Not much of anything. But I guess that is typical at this point. I guess I should be satisfied with just plugging along instead of looking at the things that I should have done.

Today is going to be more of the same, plugging along. One thing I must do is make the appt for my eye exam. I have a Dr on my plan, have the phone number printed, now I just have to make the call. No more procrastinating.
I also need to finish up all of the prep work for the Girl Scout project that is this Friday. I have a lot of it done, it needs to be organized and all that good stuff.

Hope that all of you have a fun day and that the sun is shining wherever you are.

Nancy- I am guessing that the sun isn't shining by you either. Hope that Luther doesn't mind getting too wet on huis walk. Both of my girls shook themselves out really well when they came back inside. Oh, and Lucy might be a cute pit bull but Jaida is the "cutest." LOL
Sorry that your team is losing but the energy has to be a good thing. Keep up the momentum, guys!

Rae- oh no! That is awful about the cabinet shelves. I have had similar happen twice. once was when my cat jumped into the china cabinet and the dishes smashed. the other was when the shelves in my Disney Cabinet fell one on top of the other and I lost a lot of collectibles in that. I scrapped that at some point since I had taken pictures of the broken pieces in case they were covered by my homeowner's insurance (they weren't).
Great news on getting the boots that you wanted w/o spending a fortune. Always a good thing! I need something like that for when I am out gardening but never have the extra cash.
Sweet find on the library membership for lynda. I have never heard of that, I wonder if my library system has anything similar.

Better get going, I am sure I will be moving slowly!

xoxo

good morning - it is cloudy and raining. I have errands to run and stuff in house that has to be done and so I sent Luther to doggie day care. My DH had early morning meetings so he could not walk Luther so doggie day care will be fun for Luther. Well my Devils lost again this time in OT to the Dallas Stars. It was an exciting game as my team had chances but just could not score but once. My son cracks me up. My DH made sticky buns for him and they are so good. So my son gets to take 8 buns up for his breakfast. Then he wanted me to help him make mac and cheese. Well he was playing video games when I went in to get him and all of a sudden he realizes he is running out of time and now he wants me to just make his mac and cheese. I laugh and he gets mad. But in the end he realizes he has to do this and he sees just how easy it was to make and OMgosh it was so good. He now has lunch made. So my DH and I just get home from the game when he calls and says he has forgotten his work ID and some cords for his computer and wants his dad to bring them to him. He claims that to give up his parking place he will never find another. Well he agrees to go and I go with him just to see where my son now lives. You know New Jersey is small but the difference in going just from my town to Jersey City was crazy. There is space between the houses in my town but they are almost if not touching in Jersey City. Also there are lots of apartments and so many more people in the same area. It made me a little claustrophobic. I can now see why he does not want to lose his parking place. The highways all converge in this area making driving hard watching signs while watching drivers. Now that I know how to get there I think I won't be driving there. And now I know why my son called his dad and not me to bring his left items. LOL.

Chris glad that you have so much of your stuff prepared for the girls. I think they will love learning how you make your products. Make you eye appt. LOL always good to make sure that your eyes are doing well. And I am loving that the temperatures are rising even if we have to have rain.

Rae that is so sad about all the figurines breaking. You seem to be taking it really well. I would have been crying. Glad you now have all the boots you need for the various weather situations. And how awesome that it was not costly! I look forward to hearing how the linda membership goes.

Have a great start to the week!

Hello everyone- a beautiful day here. Last night we went to DD for dinner and watched the movie Fast and Furious 7. I loved it. We are watching them out of order because we all wanted to see the last movie Paul Walker was in before his death. No we need to watch 1-5!!!

Today is vet day for the 2 cats. Problem is, I only have 1 carrier!!! lol oh well. Maybe I will see if my MIL is up and borrow hers.

Lyta is doing fine, but she is on steroids and drinking alot and continues to pee in the house. I have tile floors so clean up is easy but it is just a pain and got under the furniture.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning ladies... I was supposed to go and help out my sister do some garden cleanup today, but it looks like today the next few days will be nothing but rain. Oh well lots to keep me busy here today. I was MIA yesterday as the morning was busy with :washing: wine bottling and then meeting up with the In-Laws for SIL's birthday lunch/supper (lupper?) We went to this great little place on the Ocean at Genoa Bay not far from where our last hike was. The food was amazing!! Just a small little place out in the boonies, but what a wonderful little secret!! The owner is a hoot and keeps you smiling, the food was wonderful and we had such a nice time! FIL is finally feeling better from his shingles and off pain medication, so that was good to see too. It took its toll on him though, he has aged a lot over the last few months! I even found a meal that I could have and stay on my diet. A lovely chicken salad with Brie and Spinach and nuts the salad dressing was great too Yumm!! :hungry:

Chris - So glad that your temps have warmed up and perhaps Spring is finally on its way to you! good for you for making your eye exam, no more procrastinating, you need to take care of your eyes!! Nice that you have so much ready for the Girl Scouts demo! I bet you have a great time with it! Keep plugging along my friend, its what I will be doing today also!

Nancy - Your son is too funny!! Really he has never made KD before?? I hope he learns to love cooking and will soon become more independent! Yikes the area where he lives sounds super busy and congested!! I would not want to drive there either! The whole planet is getting busier and more crowded, I feel sorry for our grandchildren and can't imagine what the world will be like for them when they are older! Bet Luther has a great time at doggy day care! Enjoy your day too!

Rae - Oh my how sad to have lost some of your precious things! You are handling it very well! I would be so sad! Yes I am always looking for new recipes for this diet and I just love the loaded cauliflower recipe on my Pinterest Board! You should try it out if you haven't already! I have found some really good suppers on Pinterest and DH is loving them too! I hope to try to make some Fat Bombs today as I need a little snack every now again also. I am down one more pound today and even after a Sunday filled with a few too many glasses of wine LOL! Slow and steady it is coming off and I am loving this new way of eating!

Sharon - glad to hear you are enjoying the movies! Sad that Paul Walker is no longer with us! Your pets are keeping you busy with the Vet!

Ok I am off to get a cup of coffee and then I hope to get a page done for my sister. Vacuuming and washing floors today too. Yippee :bliss: NOT!! LOL have a great day everyone!

Good morning, ladies. I now have a new routine for Monday morning. A favorite keto youtube channel has a live broadcast on Monday morning so I am starting my Monday morning watching the rebroadcast of it. She is so inspiring and informative and it's nice to get info from someone in my age group. So its a well spent hour to start my day.

The wkend flew by. Took Taz to the pet store which he loves and Darrell and I caught up on episodes of NCIS throughout the afternoon/evening. I mostly stayed off the computer and just relaxed.

I'm spending some time here and there organizing photos, trying out amazon drive. It seems to work ok. My raw files are taking too long to load but I am converting to jpegs and they are loading much faster. I got my new cuisinart immersion blender and love it. The other older one I have will come out to the trailer b/c I'll need one there too. This week I want to try some homemade mayo using it. I'm holding steady this last week at 25 lbs gone and feel good and sleep so much better.

This afternoon I will take Taz for a walk along the river but that's about it in this downpour we've having today.

Chris - glad you have a quiet relaxing day yesterday. I too need a new eye exam, I am long overdue. I have been wearing reading glasses and keep putting off going for an exam where they will tell me I probably should be wearing glasses all the time. It just seems such a hassle that I keep putting it off.

Nancy - I laugh at your son's antics LOL. Doesn't sound like you're too much of a pushover though and will get him trained properly :) Someday his wife will thank you!

Sharon - poor Lyta. We have the F&F movies but haven't watched them yet. I think they will be good movies to watch while scrapping.

Trudy - sounds like you had a good wkend. Glad your FIL is feeling better, shingles is a nasty condition to have. My poor MIL had it awfully bad for about 5 months, a few yrs before she passed away. Poor lady. BTW....chat with me on FB when you get a chance today. Got some keto info to share with you.

Time to get another coffee and get to work. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

Popping in quick for you Rae, I am working in ACDSee and I forgot that you had asked how to do Authors etc.
Select the file or files you want to add the Kit/Designer info. In the Metadata Pane, you can add the kit title to the Caption Box and the Designer in the Author Box. If they don't show up, you might need to go into the Tools>Options>File List. Then Thumbnail Info. In the left panel click the dropdown for ACDSee Metadata, check the boxes for Caption and Author. Click ADD > and they should show up on the box on the right. HTH!
