yay!!! it is officially Spring!! *tosses flower petals in the air*
That means I will start feeling better. Every day-- better!! :whoo:
(if you sense a bit of hopeful projection in that, you might be on to something)

Yeah, I didn't sleep well last night. it took me forever to fall asleep and then I woke up at 3.30 and have been awake ever since. I think I am betting bursitis in my right shoulder, which isn't good since I have to push a vacuum for work. Then once I woke up, I started thinking about what has been going on in the US politically and that did me in. Psychologists are writing about how there is a huge spike in anxiety and I am a prime example of that.

But it is what it is, and I'll do what I gotta do.:pop2:

I know thatI don't typically eat beef, but I did have corned beef last night. It was so good. Scott wants me to make it again, but of course, now that St Patrick's Day is over they aren't on sale anymore.

I scrapped a page for the Wall Art Challenge yesterday afternoon and I had a lot of fun. If you haven't done that one, you have to try it!

Cait is downstairs- her break is over so I get to chat and have coffee with her. Back soon!

Ah, I feel better after a bit of Rat Therapy. Those girls are adorable. And a bit wacky. Muffin is the Hoarder of the Nuggets and when Cait puts a few into the food dish, she will grab one (sometimes 2 if she can squeeze it into her mouth), bury it in her house and run out for another. This morning, she wasn't burying them too well, and Cait would grab the nugget from the top of the bedding, toss it in her dish, she comes out, grabs it, runs to "bury" it, Cait picks it out drops it in the dish etc and so on and so forth. :D

From Sunday:

Nancy- I am sure that Luther is having a blast running with the other dogs. Too cold for me, and still so much snow on the ground. Yesterday, poor Ray tried to climb over a pile of snow and fell in all the way up to her chest. Hopefully, the rest of it all will melt quickly.
That is really funny about your DS telling you when to do your laundry LOL

Trudy- you're killing me with the gardening updates haha!!!!! I am trying to focus on the seedlings that I have growing inside.
I think that the party is going really well too. The Gallery is amazing! That is so crazy about your fonts still coming out fuzzy, I have no idea how that would happen. I have one LO that when I uploaded it to Shutterfly said that the resolution was too low but it was 3600x3600 and 300 ppi so I ignored the warning. I hope that it looks ok when I get it.

Rae- I will never understand computers! I hope that it doesn't give you any hassles today. Taz must have had a blast running with all of those dogs. I saw the LO you did for Beckham, so beautiful

(I apologize if I missed anyone or anything!)

Good morning - life as an empty nester has begun. My son left for his place yesterday but it took him a while to get his act and stuff together - he said he was leaving by 3 pm but did not leave until closer to 5:30pm. He is not good at time management. He was playing a video game and lost track of time. I was at the Devils/Blue Jackets game. My team started out playing well but OMgosh what a crazy sad game for my Devils. They lost 4-1. One goal was an empty net goal. My team gave up 2 short handed goals and 2 penalty shot goals. One of the penalty shot goals was a penalty shot. My goalie has got to make those saves. Came home from the game and my DH had made roast chicken, mashed potatoes, stuffing and corn. Wow. Part of it was for us but he also made two containers for my son for his dinners. He also made banana bread in the morning so he could have breakfasts. He is an awesome dad.

Chris sorry about the shoulder and not sleeping at night. I hate hearing what is being done with all the programs that help people! Slashing them is so infuriating and there is not much that can be done until the next election. But you do have fun rats to play with!

Trudy I find it so weird to hear your gardening and I still have inches of snow! But now at least the highs are in the 50s so it is melting. That is weird about the font being fuzzy on the printed page. Why can't it just be easy!

Rae I saw the sweet page you did of Beckham. Thanks for sharing. Luther loves running with dogs and I am sure Taz does too! We don't have 30 but we have a lot.

Have a great day!

Morning ladies... all the talk of snow is making me cold this morning! Yesterday DH and I worked outside in the garden, but man the wind was very cold!! brrr!! Is it really spring?? Because it sure felt like it could have snowed on us while we were out trimming and moving around a few plants. Now our front garden looks so much better as some bushes had gotten a lot taller than what we had expected them to be, we moved them around and placed them in the back and everything is much more symmetrical! A few cedars died over the winter so out they went and that left us lots of room to move things around. Now hopefully they will all survive the move :becky: So nice to see the new buds on the bushes and my Camila Bush is in full bloom, but must be very confused as to why it is still so darn cold LOL. Today I hope to get out back and trim a few bushes out there, but I will have to wear my welles or my feet will get soaked, its still pretty mushy out back. Such a change from last year when we were already cutting our grass at the beginning of March.

Chris - I sure hope that the snow melts away quickly for you! I know that you guys really needed this snow, but man it could have come earlier and left sooner for you! That is awful that you did not sleep very well last night and ugh about your shoulder pain! Hard to vacuum for sure when you have troubles with your shoulder! Are the kids back at school yet? Or is it still spring break? I can never keep track now that I don't have any children in school anymore. I am so out of touch! Wasn't the wall art challenge fun!! That is definitely one that we should continue to do at our next big Party! I will let you know what the problem is with my fonts when I find out, so far no idea :noidea:

Nancy - LOL your son is having seperation issues !! He really doesn't want to leave the awesome place he had with his Mom and Dad maybe?? It takes some time to adjust to being an empty nester, but at least you will have him drop in now and again, that is so nice! How wonderful that your DH prepared a wonderful meal for you and for your Son to take home with him!! He is a keeper for sure! Sorry about your Devil's loss last night. We tried to watch the Montreal/Ottawa game, but had to turn it off as the Canadians were winning and it was so one sided with the refs as usual. Even against another team from Canada the refs are biased!! So obvious that they are trying to get them into the playoffs! Grrr!!

Rae - OMG not more troubles with your computer!! It might have something to do with your plug-ins being disabled?? Not sure why that would happen but you never know, always a mystery LOL! How fun for Taz to be able to play with all those dogs!! Hope you got it figured out! Isn't t the gallery just bursting with awesomeness!! Hope you can get another challenge or two done today! I am going to try for at least one today also!

Alright its time to hit the shower and then I hope to stay on my computer and enjoy the party today! A few layouts to catch up on and lots of love to be left in the gallery! Hope to hear from DD and Mason as her brother and family will be heading back to Ottawa today. Praying for good driving weather for them and a safe journey back! DD will be sad to say good-bye, I am sure there will be lots of tears as she is very emotional with good-byes. Funny she never used to be before she got sick, now she has a hard time with emotions. Anyway I am sure that they all had a wonderful time together and I am thankful that they got to do this! Have a great day everyone, enjoy the last day of the Party!!

Good morning, ladies. I'm popping in and out quickly. I'll be back later. I have some desk work that needs to be done right away so will get off the computer for a few hours. Got a few CT things done this morning and now it's time to get to work.

I'll be back later to check on everyone.

Chris- sorry you have bursitis and couldn't sleep. I know the political situation upsets everyone, so I am glad I went to my therapist today! Rat therapy should take your mind off the woos of the world

Nancy- my DD finally left home (down the street) but comes over nearly everyday between 8 am -5 pm (yes for real) and has lunch/dinner. I understand it.

Trudy- ugh to snow, but we are at 81 so far.

Did my yard work this morning- good thing. Too hot to go out now.
