Hey there, O-zies!
I am not as tired as I was yesterday at this point in time which is good news for me. I ended up taking a nap for almost an hour. I could barely function.
But today is better and that is good news since I have to clean for my friend this morning.

How was everyone's weekend? Mine was busy but we ended the the day yesterday playing Oregon Train together. The kids wanted to play Pictionary but my head hurt (and I can't take Advil or Alleve, noooo!) so I made us play a quiet game. We cheat. Everyone is allowed to die once before they are out for good. But we did make it to the end and only Scott "died" a second time. The family wants to play Pictionary tonight so I need to make sure my head feels fine. They were insisting that Pictionary is a "quiet" game- like no one shouts during it?? How long have they been part of my very loud family? Heh!!

Aside from cleaning for my friend, I think I am mostly caught up on a lot of things. Tomorrow is going to be the very busy day.
Hoping that your day is perfect!

Felis- That is too bad that you aren't able to celebrate St Patrick's Day when so enjoy the Irish culture so much.
I am with you- Italian food is my favorite!

Nancy- I hear ya- It was cold here all day yesterday too. This morning there is frost all over the cars. Even though I can't tell one bird from another it is really nice to hear them this time of year. Good for you for walking so well without the cane. :cheer2:

good morning - it is barely above freezing. I need spring like weather soon. Today is a home alone day. Spring break is over. At least now I can drive if I need too. My DH has been spring cleaning. He changed a lot of the kitchen shelves. Glad it gives him something to do. But of course then I cant find half of my stuff. My Devils lost again. But the worst part of the day was the local Major League soccer team the Red Bulls posted a photo of several of my Devils attending their game. These are my injured players, my best players. I don't know why it galled me so much to see them at a game but darn only one of them looked injured as he had on a walking boot while the rest looked fine. I know there is a difference between playing hockey injured and a desk job injured but darn I want them playing for the Devils.

Chris I love that you have game nights. Pictionary is one of my favorites. Relax some what today!

Waving to all! Have a great day!

Morning, gals. Had a nice day yesterday but the wind was blowing and I got chilled when coming home from church. Ended up pulling out the long-johns and turtleneck top to wear under my fleece sweat suit. Stayed cold most of the day. Suppose to get rain this week and back down from 65 into the low 50's again.

Spent some time scrapping yesterday then curled up a book and read the rest of the day away. Need to gear up for the Oscraps' Birthday Bash/Party! Should be lots of fun. Don't know if I mentioned it but wore my purple western outfit to the Seniors' lunch and got one of the gals to take a few photos. I used a couple of the photos for an up-coming layout I will post later this week.

I did some research on printers and decided to hold off getting a new one for right now. One that I was looking at had some bad reviews and the inks are as expensive as the inks for the one I already have.

Chris, sorry you had a not so good day yesterday. Hope today is better for you. I forgot that you can't take any pain relief meds due to up-coming surgery. Hope your headache is gone so you can play Pictionary with the family tonight.

Nancy, glad you are able to drive again. Your DH was so nice to clean and help you out. Had to LOL... my dad cleaned up the kitchen and shelves for Mom .... then she couldn't find things! My DH always helped me unload and put groceries away in the pantry. The only thing was he didn't remember to move the old stuff in front of the new stuff so I had to do that. But I really appreciated that he helped me out.

Guess I had better get dressed and make the bed. Think that DD#1 will be coming over this AM. The great-grands were down with a stomach virus last week so haven't seen DD#1 for a week. Things are moving right along on the sale of granddaughter's house - closes the end of this week. So they will be moving the last of their stuff into storage soon.

good morning all

today is hard day for me - as Cooper would have been 14 today, gone too soon.

on a lighter note any of you celebrate st patricks day - went to 2 parades this past weekend with hubby and zoey and last weekend went to a different one. there are so many parades where i live now . but did not eat any irish food or go to the bars which were hoppin. on saturday i got a terrible sunburn on my face . not sure how that happened as it was only in the 50's but it still hurts.

kay with cost of ink i would think all printers would be epxensive to do lots if color printing.

chris - hope your headache is better

nancy - sounds like your therapy is going really well.

felis - i too love italian food

Hello girls! I'm in extremely grumpy mood today,
and I hate to be grumpy at Monday, not good sign for the week. So skip this if you have good day, I don't want to ruin it, just skip to my personals!

My aunt is in hospital, we all are very worried, still waiting the results, but the doctor say she is being overwhelmed and too tired. Come one, no one collapse from Spring fatigue. She have three backstories health problems that can be, matching much better to her condition, than tired. It's not looks like doctors take it seriously enough, because she is shy and never dispute.
As additional stress: 1. I sent message to a friends for the Saint Patrick's Day, but it wasn't opened, I was hope this will give us reason to talk a bit, but ... I guess celebration is take too much time. Of course, my mind does not stop to designing even worse scenarios. 2. The connection issue is from our computer, not from the provider. It's a repair which I don't want to pay right now. For now will struggle at this way  and will plan it for later. The double shifts which I took should give me some breath and few free days, not this! With the warm weather have vet procedures to pay, and this is my priority. 3. Today was a lovely sunny day, so my cats was playing out. Till one of by boy found some way to hanging on his collar on the fence. Fortunately I was near and I kept my equanimity and quickly tear the collar. All happened for about 10 seconds, but my heart still beat when I think about that. I can't stop thinking what if I was away, or it has happened somewhere higher when I can go fast enough. These collars are made to opened in situation of suffocation, and Hunter often take off them, but this is young cat, and also was knot it on the fence in vertical position, so just couldn't take it off. Maybe it will, after a little more time or maybe this is one of these 'unexpected situation'. The truth is that I tear it easy, but OMG the stress was so big!!! Member of our family suicide in my teenage years, and the association freaks me out, I'm still shaking. In future I wouldn't use fabric collar for the bells, they are more pretty and cheap than repellent collar, but see what happened.

Thank you for listening my complaints, dears! I Promise tomorrow to come back in better mood!

Nancy, LOL I want to see geese get mad and chase Luther ! :pound: Oh, you are start the spring cleaning very early. We have too, but I still find excuses.

Chris, hope your headache is better! How fun to have a family play night! We are see things like that at the movies. Have fun, girl! And, please, please, please! Take it easy! See what happen to my aunt. Such a madness.

Kay, I definitely want to see your purple western outfit! I also work on page for myself. It so strange to scrap myself, even little embarrassing, but it's a kind of fashion, kind of fancy page inspired by one of the conversations at the O forum, so I decided to try. Hows you feel to scrap yourself?! Hope your children are recovered from this stomach virus, so bad! So where they will buy new house now?! Are they moving away or come (I hope) close to you?

Trudy, ouch this is bad! I hope later to hear at least for your day, even without personals!

Zanthia, you have my deeply sympathy on this day  ! There is no day to not think for my girl, even I fostering a dozen other cats. The lose makes hole forever!
Oh, I'm a little bit jealous about the Irish celebrations. I want too!

Wave to the others!

Hi everyone..I had a good weekend. I have a maid coming every 2 weeks and Satruday was her first day. She cleaned from top to bottom- 6 hours. The house looks great! DD came over after that and we made a sign for her sister who comes home to visit next weekend. Then we got our fav Chic fil A and watched some nonsense TV. It was great. Sunday hubby was feeling better and did quite a bit of "honey do's" we needed done and our grand dog Cooper came over for "doggie day care" Great fun. But when I went to bed, my back was hurting. Woke up in the middle of the night and took something for the pain. DH left for work at 5:15 this morning and I stayed in bed. I still don't feel right, but trying to move it off.

Kay- can't wait to see the pics of your outfit!

Trudy-I know how it feels to lose a whole post. In my case, it was PSE freezing up when the layout was done.

Zanthia-hugs to you and Cooper. I know I have told you before that following the layouts and pics you posted of him in the past I feel like I know him as well! I still feel the loss of my lab Marcus whom I lost 3 years ago.

Chris-loved the talk about games. Pictionary is not a quiet game for any family!! lol I remember Oregon Trail on the computer many many years ago!!!

Felis- I too love Italian food...married an Italian!

nancy- South Louisiana keeps giving us late spring early summer weather and then bam- fall comes back. When you go from 80-50 in a few hours, it is hard to get your body temp to adjust. I am always hot or cold!

I too am checking out all the great wishes for the birthday. Can't wait for the challenges and games to start! happy Birthday to the O!

Ok I have tried to post again and again I did the same thing!! So I have disabled that gesture on my trackpad! It is so frustrating!! I never had this issue until I switched my browser from Safari to Google. Safari is just not working that well for me anymore and I like everything else about the google browser except how touchy it is with my trackpad. I don't own an apple mouse and really do not like using a mouse, so I will see how this goes. Anyway I was just telling about my day of being outside and getting the yardwork mostly done. Blah, Blah, Blah LOL.

Chris - Hope your headache is better and that your game night tonight is a lot of fun! Hope that your cleaning day goes quickly and that you are not too tired this afternoon!

Nancy - Totally know how you feel about your players! They should not be out and about and in the spotlight when they are not able to play. It upsets the fans for sure! So happy for you that you are able to drive once again and your DH is a keeper for sure for doing that cleaning for you!

Felis - Sorry that your Auntie is in the hospital! Thank goodness you were there for your poor little kitty! Don't ever worry about venting here, we all do it and we are happy to be here for you as a sounding board if nothing else.

Kay - Anxious to see your outfit! Hope you are able to find a printer that will suit your needs and not eat up your savings with buying ink! Hope you get to enjoy a nice visit with DD#1 today and how exciting for your granddaughter to be getting into her new digs!

Zanthia - gentle hugs to you and Cooper, so sad to have lost a good furry friend far to early! Hope your sunburn clears up soon! The sun is strong and our ozone layers are getting so thin, we really have to be more careful with the sun exposure!

Ok I need to empty the dishwasher and get the vacuuming done, then on to the bathrooms :mmph: Hope to have a better posting day tomorrow!

Just a quick pop back in.... DD#1 and I had a great visit with coffee...:cof3: Got caught up on all the new about granddaughter/grandson-in-law and the great-grands. Turns out grandson-in-law caught the stomach virus from his girls and had a rough night last night. Poor guy... Just to straighten out some confusion - granddaughter and family had moved in with DD#1/hubby so they could show their house off when it went on sale. They will be living there until at least the end of the school year. Grandson-in-law's job is going away before the end of the year so he is looking for a new job in a couple of different states. Won't know for awhile where they will be moving or when... but it diffidently out of state. Then later on, think that DD#1/hubby will move to where granddaughter/hubby/family are so they can be close to the grands.

Felis, I don't have problem scrapping photos of me or hubby/me. I think we are too critical of ourselves and how we think we look in photos. Just keep scrapping those photos and soon it won't bother you.... the more you do that, the easier it becomes.

Oh, Trudy... how frustrating losing 2 posts like that!!! Glad you managed to turn off the gesture on your touchpad. It is funny... I have problems using a touch pad and much prefer a mouse. I have a mouse to use with my laptop but right now the battery is rundown and can't find where DH put the powercord/charger. Gave DH's Mac to DD#3 as she likes it over a PC. To each his/her own.

Stacey, I can image how much you miss Cooper. I always loved seeing him in his different costumes for each season. He was such a great ham! Glad you got to go to some of the parades around your area.
