Daily Ooo's Monday June 9th

lOve the O!
Morning O fam- I am sneaking in here to say Hi before Chris arrives. I am trying something new this week. I am always tired after work, so I am thinking about trying to change my work hours- longer for 3 days, lose 4 hours a week, but have two days off. I won't know if I can handle it, until I try, so for the next two weeks, I am doing it without pay to see if I can before I approach my boss! It is sunny and cooler today. Have a great one!!

What a great idea Laurie on the work week! (Oh, and I think you may be channeling Chris because as much as I wish it were still June, we have moved on... :-) )

:peace::clap2: :whoo:

Its not just meeeeeee!!!! Good to have date-challenged company, Laurie!

Hi ladies!! How are all of you today? Its a gorgeous Monday morning (*channeling Sally, come in Sally*). It actually is- sunny, cooler, off to the lake after food shopping with my kids this morning.....

After all of my blabbering this weekend in the Ooo's, I feel like I don;t have anything to say ATM! How funny ;)

Laurie- hope the work schedule changes will be a good move for you and your boss.

Linda S- I recommended a Pin to you this morning on using tension rods for indoor "tents" but I don't know if I did it right. Let me know if you see it somehow!

Me Me Monday!! Lake bound, baby!!!

Morning Peeps!

The recent hot hot weather has worn me out not that I've been out much. All that pain in my ankle I've been having? well there was a good reason. I have a torn ligament and so I'll have 'the boot' on for at least 2 months. In the scheme of life, it's no hardship but it is tiring to lug the leg around that way. Yes, I plan to scrap the issue!

Laurie...hope the new hours work for you!

Chris....Enjoy the lake. Hope the water is nice and cooool for you.

Morning Linda! (and any other peeps who might be posting at the same time.)

Happy Monday everyone... Wow it was a gorgeous day yesterday, we spent most of it outside in yard and taking the stinky fermenting grass clippings to Bings Creek (waste dump). I went shopping later in the day and found two really cute sun dresses and a new hat to wear in sun. My hair lightens up so much from the sun and after spending so much money on getting low lights put back into my hair I figured I should spend a few dollars on a hat to protect it! Hubby finally agreed to turn on the heat pump to cool the house down, he actually was warm yesterday, but it has been nice and cool here in the evenings so not a struggle to fall asleep.

Laurie - I sure hope your new hours work out for you! A change is always good!!

LindaS - Too funny about the date channeling!! I do not wish it was June again, it was the wettest June we have ever had and I don't want that back!!

Chris - Lucky you!! Off to the beach today! Enjoy my friend! I hope the water is refreshing!!

Maureen - Ouch on the ankle!!, can't wait to see the layout you make about it! Not fun trying to lug around some extra baggage around your foot in the heat! Hope it heals quickly!

Well off to the shower and get out of here for the day, then tomorrow is ME, ME day the last one for a month as DD will be here late friday nite! (I can hardly wait!) Have a great day everyone!!

I HAVE A ZUCCHINI!!!!!!!!!! i was out picking green beans and pulling the bean plants out this a.m.. (enough with the green beans, already. i have so many i'm running out of ideas.....) and i found an actually ZUCCHINI lurking there, after the bean plants were out of the way. well. i feel like i've accomplished something. i'm going to sautee the little nipper for dinner tonight and enjoy it, since it could possible be the only one i'm getting!

well. pathetic how a zucchini can make my day, eh? goes to show what my days are full of. but at least it's not going to be 98 degrees today. maybe 86. i have finally shut off the AC unit and the fan. it feels good to breath air that's not been recycled for 10 days.

Laurie, sounds like a great new chedule, if you can make it work. it's good that you have some autonomy with your hours. good luck!

Maureen, YIKES! just what you need is a sweaty boot to lug around in this weather. hope this thing resolves soon.

Chris, have fun at the lake. it must be cool to have an actual lake nearby. my closest lake is about 1 1/2 hours away, and the Great Lakes are about 2 1/2 hours away. Lake Erie is crawling with people at this time of year. but it is sometimes neat to be "near" a lake that's big enough to make waves!

Laurie, have a splendid time with your daughter. it must be nice to have one who actually IS "dear."
your hair gets lighter in the sun? how cool! maybe that's what happened to mine.... :pound:

Happy Week, everyone! hope it's everything you wish for.
