Hello, O-Fam! How are all of you today? It is beautiful here. Sunny and breezy and it should get close to 80* this afternoon. Perfect!

I was able to get a lot of things done yesterday but still have a bit more to do today. The decorations need to go back into the attic and I have to rearrange the food that is in my fridge since there isn't much room at all. I have enough to get me through the next few days so I won't be food shopping this morning. (*cheers*)
I didn't do any yard work but I did scrap a page for a kit that is coming out soon. And guess what? I really like what I did.

Since my week's schedule is all wonky I have to figure out what need to do to get organized. Off to the vet to get food for Floyd. I might be there a while since I have to make appts for Ray and Whisky and Floyd. Plus I need advice about Floyd. We have been trying to do his fluids for days and he won't stay still long enough for the needle to go in. It takes three of us to hold him down, and even burrito-wrapped, he fights and the needle pulls out. We are trying to figure out his quality of life at this point since he hates being around people, except for Cait.

I might try to get to the FP today on my way to the vet. Yard work is on the schedule for this afternoon.

Here is to a fantastic day!

hey Felis! I am happy to hear that you had a nice Sunday. You had some scrapping mojo too? I hope that it comes back to all of us.
I have hardly done any scrapping at all, but now that the May and June family craziness is over, I can balance scrapping with outside time.

Hugs to everyone!!

good morning - another beautiful day in NJ. Sunny lower humidity and highs in the 80s. Yesterday took Luther on an early walk while my DH was still sleeping. Luther was happy to go but it was so funny when my DH came down Luther kept bugging him to go on a walk and of course he gave in and Luther was very happy then. Other than that it was a pretty low key day. Watched some soccer and did some grocery shopping and got Luther some treats. Had a minor thunderstorm go through in the evening but was not bad. Cooled things off. Today I have to go grocery shopping and laundry. Not sure how much will get done but need to get a start.

Chris I saw photos of the party FB and you looked so pretty. I am glad you relaxed and enjoyed the party. So sorry to hear about the problems with Floyd. Hope the vet can give you so hints to make him feel better. And I bet you have lots of food so glad you don't have to go grocery shopping. Enjoy being out side. Looks like the heat will be building as the week progresses. Maybe a heat wave this weekend.

Felis glad you had fun scrapping. I really have to find the time really I just have to get my act together as I have the time LOL.

Wave to all!

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... A sunny morning so far, hoping that it stays that way. Yesterday was so strange as we spent the morning with the kids and had a nice breakfast together, then we had to get everyone packed up and ready to go home. It was the final good-bye to Isaac and Sadie and we were all very teary eyed! My grandma heart was breaking  Lots of hugs and kisses. They will spend the week that we are in Paris with their other Grandma and Grandpa and I am sure lots of tears there also! We will meet up with Jason and Jackie in the Vancouver Airport in two weeks and then off we go :plane: The afternoon was spent going to the In-Laws to water plants and gardens as they are away attending Marion's funeral services. Then lots of clean up and beds to strip, :washing: etc and the day was over before we knew it. The only happy thing about the kids moving to Toronto will be that they will be able to spend more time with Heather and family. I am in a bit of a funk today, so not sure what I will do with my day, besides wander around my empty house and feel sorry for myself :pout:

Chris - I saw your photos on facebook too and you looked so beautiful and happy surrounded by your family and friends! I know your actual birthday isn't until tomorrow, but I hope you enjoyed your day as much as it looked like you did! Love that video with you and Cait and the green blow up! Too funny!! :becky: Sure hope that the Vet can give you some tips to help out poor kitty! So nice to hear that you loved your new scrap page too! I am working on one, but finding it hard to complete, maybe this morning will shed some light on my scrapping mojo?? Your time should be less hectic now that the craziness of June is almost over and done with, hope you get to spend some time doing something that you love today!

Nancy - I am totally the same as you and have lots of time to do scrapping, but just need to get my act together LOL. Sounds like you will be getting lots of warmer days ahead, Luther will be heading to the basement to keep cool. I too need to get to the grocery store and get more :washing: done today. Sad to wash away all the little hand prints etc. away

Felis - Happy to hear that you are having great scrapping mojo! Send some my way please! Sorry to hear that your roses on your archway are not blossoming like you had hoped, but I bet it still looks so pretty! Enjoy your scrapping time!

Rae - Saw your photo with your MG on facebook, you look so wonderful together and very much in love! Thinking of you all the time and hope that B is doing a bit better each day!

I need to get to the store today to find something to make for my sister Pam's birthday lunch, she and my other sister Wendy will come tomorrow and we will have a nice lunch together. Wendy is bringing the cake and the gift that we already purchased for her a while back. It will be good to catch up on things as we haven't spent much time together these last few weeks. Everyone is busy so it will be good to just wind down and visit! I hope that you all have a wonderful Monday!

Good morning, ladies. Just a quick hello as today is the start of my new schedule with Monday being my craziest work day with a huge workload but that's ok b/c I am expecting it and am ready to put my nose to the grindstone and go at warp speed all day. Then tomorrow will be almost as busy but a bit more manageable and then the rest of the week is slower. I think I will like this new schedule. I like the idea of the workload dwindling down as the week goes on.

Chris - loved seeing the photos of you and your family. You look wonderful! Did I ever tell you I am so jealous of your hair? Love the curls. Mine is thin is straight, I hate my hair LOL.

Trudy - so hard to say goodbye, I'm sure. Hope you find things to do today to get you out of your funk.

Nancy - enjoy the warm weather and get all your chores done.

Jean, Felis and everyone else....have a wonderful day!

Gotta go take the roasting veggies out of the oven and get to work. It'll be interesting to see how busy my work day is when I stay off the computer and really push myself to get work done without much interruption. One thing is for sure, the day is going to fly by :)

Nice sunny day and the deer was in the yard behind us after DH came home from Hum & Strum. It rested a while, got up and grazed moving out of sight. Don't know if it visited our bird bath, but probably earlier while I was off doing bills. Saturday we got up early and went across town to be assistants at the AncestryDNA class a friend gave at the library. We each actually learned something but DH can't remember what his was. After we had lunch with the "teacher" and another friend at a tavern recently picked in a newspaper poll for having the best burger. Of course we all had burgers and mine was good.

Felis, I'm sorry you can't fully enjoy the good times for expecting bad to follow. Happy you could scrap though and the ATC pair are charming.

Chris, hurray, the party came off as it was bound to do. Glad to hear you look wonderful in the photos. Nice that Cait's DNA results came and give you a view of how that varies. Wishing you find new answers at the vet.

Nancy, Luther knows a good thing when he sees it so why not get an extra walk. We haven't watched much of the soccer, but hope you are enjoying it.

Trudy, sorry you are rattling around today coming down from the weekend with the kids. But you have Paris to look forward to very soon. And just think of all the scrapping you'll want to do when you come home! There are sweet kits here for Paris too.

Rae, good you have this new schedule. Know you are swamped today, but it will be good for you to have it taper off.

I'm excited about the Chris birthday, but I realize the day is not starting for you yet, so I'll come back again later.
Something interesting that I can share is that here finally made places where people to left their already readed books. They looks like bird houses and actually are cute little boxes, but I'm afraid it wouldn't takes long before people to broke them. This isn't idea that can survive for long. But for now we was more than happy finally to can left all these books that no need anymore. And I really hope somebody to read and like them, instead only to use it as kindlings! The idea is for exchanging books, without to be necessary librarian to make a donation lists, but without control it's a lost cause. Let see!

Chris ;) , If you found what needs to do to be more organised please share tricks! I can't keep even the same hours of go to bed and wake up, for a long than just a few days. And I definitely can't balance my scraping with outside time, but I use that now is rainy and no need to watering, also we can't mowe and I'm just left this jungle outside to grow. It couldn't continue for a long, but I hope enough to scrap all I have in my head right now. About 10 pages idea but first have to see next month's challenge rules, so to can fit them.

Trudy, of course, I'd love to share some scraping mojo with all of you, if I could! My key was to opened the kits that I have, and to look at them more carefully than just the previews. There always have some details that gives me bigger idea. Oh so kids would not come to Paris with you? I thought they will visit two Disneyland in one year?! I guess I'm misunderstood this. Do you have direct connection to Toronto (bus or better plane)?! Happy birthday to your sister and best wishes!

Nancy, the time is exactly what I don't have, so to can actualize all my scrap projects. Summer is always more busy than the other seasons. Next month most friends are in summer break and will go on sea vacation, but not me. Tiny is at the same way as Luther, now when she have to go on the morning walk earlier because of the hotness, she wants to go on second walk at the old time :). It's sweet but also annoying, especially because, once when she go out, she don't wanna walk on a long distance, but her paws are dirt anyway and needs second bath. :bathbaby:

Rae, I'm curious to see do idea of the workload dwindling down as the week goes on, will work better for you?! It's sounds reasonable, that you can burn all energy in the hard work at the first days, but then to reload at the stress out days, instead to drag whole week trying to balance with impossible schedule. But I guess it's depends of what kind of person you are, routine is more reassuring for some.

Jean, I'm so jealous about the deer! At pagan religion they are sacred animal! But I'm afraid here they are hunted so they are very shy. Thanks for the compliment about my ATCards! As I said this kit just spoke to me, so it was just a matter of time (actually of money balance) to got it. ;) .

OK, girls, kiss and hugs and I'll come back later! Have a wonderful day you all!
