Happy Monday!!!!!

Its is our last full week of school. How crazy is that? I feel like the middle part of the school year went on and on and on and on, but here we are, almost done. Of course, this is also Finals week for both kids and I *hate* not having control over how much or how well the are studying. I tired to help Cait with her Social Studies review yesterday but she was having way more fun hanging off my bed upside and sideways. But she can sing the Preamble to the Constitution better than anyone. We also did a chorus of Schoolhouse Rock, I'm just a Bill on Capitol Hill...

I had a nice time with my little man, too. But gah! He does not stop moving. I tried to take some pics- I started out with 47 and had to delete quite a few becasue they were very blurry ;) We got to see him take about 6 steps and he gives the slobbery-est, open mouth adorable kisses!

Today is a "Catch up on Life" day for me, how about all of you?

Me Me Monday- I hope to work in the yard!
 
Morning O fam- my 4 days off in a row did not work out the way I had originally planned. Too hot, stayed inside lots with shades drawn to keep out the sun and boy was that depressing. That and both boys are officially young men "on their own" so to speak and that hit me this weekend too! But life goes on, my job is calling me and I need to shower as I just finished my daily walk. Hope everyone has wonderful days, I suspect we will get a teasing of rain today.

The weekend flew by, but it was nice. Temps were too high and have to remember it is June and summer heat has arrived.

Chris- Hope the last week of school goes well for your kids and they get through finals. Hope your plan to catch up goes well. Are you loving the AnnaLift pages............thanks for the cool inspiration!

Laurie- I know what you mean about sometimes realizing the 'kids' have grown up. Hope your day goes well and the week fast so the weekend is here again soon.

I'm headed over to exercise and friend talked me into 'boot camp' class............I am sure this is not going to be good! But I'll give it a try! Instead of focusing on the exercise I'll try and think about what I might scrap next and that should help.

well..... my morning didn't start out too calmly. As soon as I pull up to the bus stop, Scott looks around and says, "I really hope my back pack is inhere somewhere." :doh:
They get out to wait and I speed up the street to get the darn back pack that it obviously *not* in the car, grab backpack off the sofa *just* where he left it and speed down the street again to get it to him right before the bus pulls up. The HS is 15 minutes from my house and I really, really did not want to make that trip, and he is too close to failing that I would/could let him suck it up.

That gets the blood flowing good! haha!!!

Laurie I want a Leg Lamp!!! Why would you ever move that??? (JK!) LOL-- JK on the moving part, I really would love a Leg Lamp ;)

Hugs to you, Nana, hope that you are doing better today. Hey, did you get that email I sent you- why drinking is just like yoga? That smiley you used yesterday looks like is belongs :D
That really sucks about your DarnS-DD. You so rarely get time just the 2 of you......

Trudy-- never a final family reunion, just a changing one..... a Family Tree is a fab idea. Hope you have a great time making it as I am sure that everyone will have looking at it!

Phyllis- oh no- so sorry to hear about the nosebleed. what a crappy way to end your Not-So-Me Week.:(

But it is Monday and to channel our Sally-- Its a new start! Enjoy it!!!
 
Happy Monday everyone?? WTH?? Its not even 5:30 in the morning and I am sitting here with my cup of coffee. Have to start work an hr. earlier than usual, I think they have gone crazy at work and are changing everyone.s schedules around again! What a place!! I have never worked anywhere, where they have so much trouble making up a work schedule!! Oh well it will be an hr earlier when I get home!

I really have to get a birthday present bought and sent out to my little Grandson Isaac either today or tomorrow, I can't believe that he will be four yrs. old already!! Please don't let the years fly by so quickly :pray2: !!

Chris - Isn't it unbelievable how fast the year is going by!! Lets hope that the summer holiday season does not fly by that quickly!! I am still waiting for the warm weather to arrive here, it has been chilly here and I want some sunshine!! I hope that you get to play in your backyard today!! I hope that the kids do well with their finals this week! Praying that both pass into the next grade!! The only reason I say no more family reunions is that the two sisters that do all of the work for reunion are both in their late 70's, one my MIL , she has many health issues and really did not want to have a reunion this year and the other is her sister Betty, she never wants it to end, but her husband is very frail now, he needs lots of care and she really does not have the time to do all this. No one else has the time to help much etc. etc. Its a long drawn out story that I'm sure you don't want to hear. LOL.



Laurie - How awful that you had to spend most of your days off in the house in the dark!! Lets hope that the temps go down a bit for you and you can be outside and enjoy the sunshine!! I hear ya on the kids being all grown and gone. Empty nest syndrome is sometimes pretty hard to get over. I still wish my kids were here with me, but then again I don't miss all cooking and cleaning!! Hope your work day goes well!!

Donna - Hope you enjoy Boot Camp, sounds like way to much work to me!! LOL!

just a short one from my recliner , where i slept. just call this Nosebleed Weekend. one on Sat., two on Sunday. feling bummed and fragile. now you know part of where my screen name comes from....

Monday ... I'm waiting for the post man ... I want my SIM card!!!

Should clean the kitchen ... haven't gotten to that yet. Soon DH is back from work LOL

Might watch some soccer on TV later ... I'm really not that into soccer, but it's the European Championship, and Sweden - Ukraine is tonight.
