Hi my lOves! Happy 4th to the USA people. Ms Cranky Pants (that would be me) doesn't get the whole fireworks every darn night of the weekend. Poor pups all over. Friday night, Sat night last night and I am sure more tonight. Pop pop, bang, boom.

I had to laugh at myself yesterday. I was cleaning at my neighbor's house, the one who collects antique weapons etc. I was in the bathroom, and knocked some sort of blade off the wall and it hit mt thumb. My first thought was S***! I am gonna lose a finger! Thankfully, the blade was dull and I ended up with a small cut. One of these days I am going to lose a limb/digit/eye when I am over there. LOL

Got that done, then spent an hour outside- the morning glories are starting to really take off. I am thrilled more than you all can imagine that my herx is almost over.
I was supposed to clean today, but she asked me to move that to Wed so today I *really* need to catch up on house work and paperwork. I am still fighting with this ridiculous FAFSA/Higher Ed grant stuff for the kids. Between that and laundry- it will keep me busy.

Hope everyone has an especially happy day!!!!

Hey there Laurie- soooo nice to see you! Are you and the hubs getting all settled with the new house and all that?
I hope you are able to get scrapping again soon.

Rae- hope that you were able to cross over without too much of a wait. My mom ended up going to PA on Saturday from here house rather than Friday from mine. Took her over an extra hour since she is all on highways. My route takes 90% back roads and as long as there is no construction on the bridge over the Delaware River- 90 min's tops. Traffic stinks.
How is Taz in the car? Is he calm, or like to stick his nose out of the window?

Jean- sending more good thoughts and hugs to you! i will have to see if Cait can get some pics of the hair from the back :)

xoxo

After our busy weekend, no big plans for today. I am pretty sure it is going to be way too hot, so I am okay with that.

Chris, in answer to your question about the printer, it did not go well. It is a physical problem with the printer, which I thought it might be, and we can't fix it. I used to love all the fireworks. But my poor Sazume. She was so scared last night. I feel so bad for her.

Good morning Happy 4th of July to my country. I am back home. Woke up this morning at 4am to something breaking and kids giggling! Well when I finally got up and saw in the daylight what had happened I am so sad. Kids came up and took our flower planter and threw it to the ground and broke it. Really! Turns out as I walked Luther we were not the only ones hit. There were at least 5 other homes that were hit. I called the police so hopefully they will step up the night watches. Just a shame to come home to this. But on a great note we had such an exciting two weeks traveling through Scotland, Orkneys, Shetlands and Norway. The sites were gorgeous and the people, the natives, guides and those on the ship were are super nice. The food was outstanding! The ship was beautiful. Our room was huge and came with a balcony. But the best part of our room was the bathroom floor which was heated. The temperatures never got to 70 so to get out of a shower and have a heated floor was just amazing! They also had special lighting for night trips to the bathroom so that you could see your way to the bathroom without having all the lights on. I am now going to be loading all the photos and gearing up to create an trip album. I hope all has been good here.

Chris hope Jaida is doing well! It must be so hard to keep her from doing too much. Luther remembered us! LOL! He has already had 2 walks this am. So far Luther has not been bothered by loud noises either thunder or fireworks and so glad.

Cindy, Rae, Kat, and Trudy waving hi!

Good morning, ladies. The wkend flew by (as it always does). I've got a really busy week ahead of me. I'm covering for the other typist who is off this week so will get double the workload all week. Won't have much time for getting online or scrapping, at least during the day. It's only for this week and then I have a few weeks before I have to do it again for 2 wks (that is going to be crazy but good money) when she finishes up her house relocating.

I'll still be walking Ava too so we'll be getting our exercise every day which is good, it'll just extend my workday as I fit that in. So if you don't see me around as much this week, you know why.

Chris - good thing you didn't get hurt too badly when the weapon fell...yikes...that could have been scary. As for Taz in the car, he lays on the back seat with his face hanging off the edge of the seat, looking at us in the front, or he gets his nose up into the air, sniffing, but generally doesn't stand up when driving. When we park, if he's left in the car, he will climb up onto the console between the front seats and watch out the front window for us.

Welcome home, Nancy. I bet you got some amazing photos! That trip sounds fantastic!

Ok, off I go to work. Nose to the grindstone today. Have a good day, everyone.

Afternoon all! Hope it is a great Independence Day for those in the USA (and the pets survive it!) Nothing special for us, I even did my normal Monday financial stuff and bill-paying, oh joy. I do seem to feel better though, so thankful for that.

Nancy, that trip sounds fantastic! Looking forward to the new pages. What a bummer about your nighttime vandals.

Chris, so glad you weren't seriously hurt! Must be a curious collection. Hope your day is less boring than ours. :eek:hwell:

Hi to Rae, Cindy, Trudy, Kat, Laurie!
