It is Monday again. Happy Fresh Start Over Day!

First, I want to apologize for dumping my cruddy mood on everyone and then bolting. I apologized to Gary and Caitlyn last night, who both reminded me that I don't need to say sorry for being human. However, I felt like I was pretty dang rude to everyone and that isn't right. So--- I am sorry for being a butt. ♥

No crises to deal with yesterday and that was a releif. I am about as ready for this week as I can be so that is also good. I have Caitlyn's car today and tomorrow and will worry about Wednesday another day.
Today is a long field trip. 9:45-3:45 with 100 6th-9th graders. I am leading one Stream Study rotation, three Fallen Logs (soil formation and decomposers), and 1 hour at the pool. Why is this so scarier than tomorrow having a bunch of 4 yos? *winks*

Thanks again for your support and good thoughts yesterday. And for always putting up with me, good, bad, and ugly. :giggle4:

dang it's chilly up here so far today, we put the heat on for a few minutes. I guess I have become a real Floridian!!!
It was so cold here on Friday night too! LOL-ing that you needed to put the heat on.
I hope you can take it easy a little this weekend, you are always doing something for work.
I did take some time yesterday to chill. I had to go into work to drop off supplies that I had been gathering for the cabin. But I get paid for any prep time so it works out well. Especially with the car going in the shop again.
we are going to get Maple Creemee's---maple ice cream-- for sure it is our tradition with them.
That sounds amazing!

So glad the car is back and fixed! Sounds like you had a good day with the ILs!
I reread this and got confused-- which car??? :floorlaugh:
I did make it to Wild Birds Unlimited. For the $75 deal they were having at "my store" I got a 20# bag of the Fiery Feast. Normal price is $82.99. With my membership of 15% discount I got another $12.45 off plus I had $10 Bird Bucks from previous purchases. So I got the bag of bird seed for $64.63 after tax. Plus I got a $20 Pepper No-Mess Cylinder for free!
Wow!! That is a great deal!! The birds will be happy!

Saw the ad for the camp on FB.... looks great!
TY!!
She is alternating between here and her son's house - depending on when he has appointments. Looks like she will be staying until early August. We fixed a pineapple/Canadian bacon pizza for supper... then watched DVD "Fiddler On the Roof". I forgot how long it was but enjoyed spending the evening together. We even indulged with Cherry/Chocolate Ice Cream dessert during the intermission. :D
I know that you are such a huge help to DD#1 and love her company! ♥ Sounds like a wonderful and relaxing evening.
On Thursday we didn't have a flood watch! The first time in weeks. But no fear, yesterday there was, and today there is. The ground is just so saturated that the weather service figures any thunderstorm could cause a flood, and there have been storms consistently this summer.
Better to be safe and aware, right? We haven;t had any rain since the terrible storms and floods last Monday but it must be hit or miss. Tom got stuck in a crazy downpour last night and itdidn't even get overcast at my house. All of the plants I put in the ground at the cabin are dying and my veggies here are droopy. We have been dragging water jugs out to water them since we don't have access to the hose. One more week and it should be easier.
Congrats on the new computer!!!

We had a fun day today again. We sat out on the patio having coffee with our friends then we made a quick little lunch. After that we had a nice ride in the Green mountains to go get a famous Maple Creemee ice cream and got some spicy hot infused maple syrup for our son and of course a bag of maple candy to share with everyone. Then over to another friends camp for wine overlooking the lake so pretty. We left there to go to dinner a a great old restaurant here in Stockbridge VT.
That sounds like a perfect day to me!
It seems to me that your car should be able to be fixed instead of replaced for less money. So glad your fire got put out safely with no one hurt.
Try to take it easy today so that the swelling and soreness in your re-injured foot can heal a little cause it sounds like you will have another busy work week.
It shouldn't be an expensive fix as long as the rust isn't hiding more/additional problems. It's a 2012 CRV so it is getting up there. Gary and I have only had one car for years and years but now that I am working more hours it's harder to coordinate. And then when one car of the three (mine, Cait's Tom's) is out of commission it becomes a total PITA. *grumbles*

We are heading to NH today we will be meeting up with one of Jay's old bosses at Lake Winnipesaukee where he has a cabin overlooking the lake. It's so beautiful there so this should be fun. We will be in that area a few days so I hope we can have a chill day as we have been running around and so busy for the last 3 weeks.
oooh that sounds wonderful!! And so peaceful. Enjoy!!!
Good morning,
Quick in and out before getting my shower for church.
Still working on bike page redos. Will work on more this afternoon after I do my grocery order and in between loads of laundry.
Did get my August challenge example page done yesterday.
Gotta go.
Have a great day
You had a productive day! How many more redo pages do you have left?
I'm off to an artisan market for the day. Yesterday was spent at a rodeo. Monday will be my day of chores and relaxing at home.
A rodeo! How fun! Hope that today is super and relaxing after your busy weekend/week/month/year! hahah!
Omigosh! What a string of bad luck you are having. Sending warmest wishes it works out soon.

wrapping you in a big hug of bubble wrap. I'm stressed out reading everything that's happened to you over the weekend. I hope you had a much better relaxing day today.
Thanks for the wishes and hugs.
Hubs and I just got home. We ran away. :giggle4:
Good for you!!!! Happy anniversary ♥ The trip sounds like it was great for recharging (gotta admit, I am a little jealous  )
I know that fishing season is going to be busy, so it's good that you had that time to relax.

Love and hugs to you all!!
:hug4:

@faerywings yippe you made it through the rest of the weekend....so happy you are a little better today. I'm sending good vibes your way. No worries about your mood I think it's good to vent you sure have a right with all those issues to deal with. It sounds like they are working out one at a time.
It sounds like a loooong day with all those kids--that might make me suicidal ! I love kids but that is too many for too long. I think you are so wonderful to teach that many kids all that you know about. Kudos!!!!

Off on more adventures today. We are in New Hampshire now and meeting up with Jay's old boss with his wife. We are taking a boat ride on Lake Winnipesaukee to town then walk around maybe lunch. Then the ride back and off to dinner....tooo much eating so the guys may adjust the schedule. Its' chilly up here only mid 60's till afternoon so need to use a sweatshirt--ugh. So much for relaxing here.

Got to leave in a few minutes so off we go.
I hope everyone has a good day.

Good Morning O Family!!!!

However, I felt like I was pretty dang rude to everyone and that isn't right. So--- I am sorry for being a butt. ♥
Awwww of course you dont owe us an apology. That was a LOT to deal with. I would have really gone off and all you did was vent and release all the stress. :heartpumppink: :hug2: I'm glad you were able to relax a bit yesterday.
Why is this so scarier than tomorrow having a bunch of 4 yos? *winks*
Cause, teens...... way harder than kids who dont think they know it all. :giggle4: However, I know you will be amazing and everyone will have so much fun!!!

This sounds like a great day. Boat rides, snacks (lunch) and just chilling with friends. If you want to lighten up on eating, just do appetizers for lunch. Small amounts. Boating sounds like fun though. I love boating where you just relax, even if you have to wear a sweatshirt.

Not a lot happening today. Just need to do laundry and then we will get the boat ready to go fishing. Cant wait. Didn't think I would feel good enough to go fishing and YEAH I do feel good enough to go!!! Fasting this morning to recover from the weekends extra rich foods and beers. Black coffee just isn't yummy to me. But I also dont want the headache that would happen if I didn't have it. Off to grab the second cup. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

@faerywings Don't stress. Enjoy being outdoors and doing what you love. Glad you are getting the car sharing figured out.

I'm home today relaxing after a nice long walk at the river with the dogs and Jen. Made a good profit at the market yesterday and now have a 4 wk hiatus until two wkends back to back for the end of summer markets. With this bit of a break I can take my time and create at a slower pace and have time for other stuff too. Whew. It's been a busy summer.

I'm going to be looking for recipes to use up white turnips and beets that I got in my produce box this wk. I'm roasting spaghetti squash later too. I sure am eating a lot more plant based meals lately.

I'm getting a coffee and then will move on to the next chore I need to do today...find out hours and make appt for taxes. I can't let that slide too long.

HAGD everyone.

Which car? The one with the wiper problems, LOL!
Yes! A great deal on the birdseed!
Bike page redo's.....too many to think about, LOL!

Good afternoon,
I had a rough night last night! I ate a spicy chicken sandwich from Wendy's and a frosty.....both worked themselves straight through me and I was awake most of the night visiting the bathroom! Stomach is still in disarray today! I finally ate a little at 2 so we shall see how it settles!

Had to tell Mark a definite NO for lunch today!

I did go to the bank to make the church deposit and then ran to Kohl's to spend the $30 cash I earned. Got Mark some new lounging pants. The ones he has been wearing are too hot for the weather we've been having.....even in the AC that seems to not be able to keep up in this heat and humidity! I wonder if I bought blackout curtains for every window if that would help?

OK, I need to do some more bike-page-redos today, even though I'm not feeling it!

Have a great afternoon!

Busy morning here. I didn't sleep well last night - waking up every hour or so all night. DD#1 was awake until after 3AM (reading another Kay Hooper book). She is reading "Chill of Fear" - one of my favorites of Kay Hooper's books. I did get this week's FWP LO uploaded and scrapped 2 pre-release pages this morning. Then went to the Credit union and paid my bill and stopped at WM to get the new tension rod (for the bathroom window) and some dishwasher powdered soap. Got the last box they had!!! Don't use the gel-pacs as they can clog up the drainage lines. We got the bathroom sheers hung before we had lunch.

DD#1 and I enjoyed watching "Tristan and Isolde" DVD movie late in yesterday afternoon. We will probably watch another DVD or series on Netflix later on today. Have a feeling we will both crash early this evening.

DD#2 called that afternoon and the three of us had a nice long chat. She wanted to let me know that she got the software and is working on some of the old family VHS tapes - converting and saving them to computer files for us. That means I don't have to worry about trying to hook up the VHS/DVD players I have to see them!! She also found a Sony video camera - with High 8 cassettes - with family movies on them. I have a Sony video camera but it has 8mm cassettes. (Different formats). She may get a player that will handle both and if she does, I will send her the cassettes I have.

Gotta run and help DD. HAGD
