Good morning and happy happy Monday!!! The heat wave here has broken slightly- only upper 80's today. I hope that you all get a bit of a break and some nice weather. We need a bit of rain here, but only a bit, no floods ;)

Yesterday was the last day of my birthday gift of no housework. This morning, I woke up to a sink full of dirty dishes and the coffee not made. :suspicious:
No fair! I guess I'll be catching up on that stuff, then off to SR and then the lake in the afternoon.

Does anyone know how long it takes for new poison ivy blisters to stop popping out? I am getting more every day. I should just google it, but I am too lazy. I broke down and put cortisone on them this morning which is bad for my immune system chaos, but I was scratching in my sleep. Not good! ick!

Anyway- what is up for a Me Me Monday? I scrapped a bit yesterday, so I want to finish the one page and upload that. I really hate it when the mojo is totally gone, because it just makes it so much harder and longer to get anything done. I am sure you can all relate to that.

Hugs!!

Phyllis-- 100% behind you-- three cheers for Trudy and all of our Canadian friends! Happy Canada Day- do you get a holiday today too, since your day was on a weekend?

Laurie- hope that your all caught up!

Kristy-- that is great news that you are better and that no one else got it! Yay!

and a huge ::grouphug to everyone!

Morning O fam! Back to work today. Not all caught up, but have a plan and now to act on it. I did get my walk in already and that is a good thing, since we have a really hot week coming up- again. Time to go adjust the AC for work mode- won't have to keep it cold for my furbaby $$. HOpe to have energy after work to check in and see how everyone is!

Good morning all! No break in heat here. We have a 10 day forecast with nothing but 90's. Supposed to be 96 today! Eeek...

Got some swimming time in with the kids and a couple of my nieces yesterday. I had the good sense to only stay in for an hour. A little burned on my shoulders but it should turn brown by tomorrow. I also got some grocery shopping done for Dad. He has such a hard time of thinking of things that he wants to eat...not much appetite anymore. However, I think that I came up with a few good ideas including fixing barbecued ribs for a picnic on the 4th.

Today, I am going to work from home this morning. Both kids have annual physicals here in town so no point in my driving into work and then wasting time by driving back home to take them. Tonight I have to bake 3 Jello cakes to take to the homeless shelter tomorrow night. The kids and I are serving supper with some people that I work with. That is always so much fun!

And also tonight, Sydney is riding in the 4th of July parade with her soccer team so we need to go decorate the signs for the truck. Don't want to forget that this is my nephew's last week of regular season high school baseball...so will try to make it to the four games this week.

Plus swim practice for Shaun on Thursday night. And soccer practice for Sydney on Thursday night...seriously feeling exhausted and the week hasn't even started!

Good job by you Laurie of getting that walk in!

And Chris, I hope the poison ivy is about finished with new blisters. It sounds awful!

hiya. so. Monday, is it?? all my days are kind of looking alike these days. although, today i get to meet a friend for lunch, which will put an exclamation point on this day. i just have to say that i am continuing to enjoy doing my 365 with the biograffiti templates. easy-peasy, and not a whole lot of journaling to do. about Twitter-size each day. it's the only regime i've been able to stick with for 365. i even managed to complete and do a book of 2011. THAT is something for me.

Chris, there's nothing you can do about the new blisters. it all has to do with your exposure. they just keep coming out until they're done. you do NOT get new blisters from the old ones. it's a systemic reaction thing and will resolve when it's done. i learned all this when i had my one and only bout with PI a few years ago. mine went from a little patch on my arm to everywhere on my body but my face. and it lasted for about 2 months. i have scars everywhere. i hope yours turns around soon, poor thing.

Laurie, i'm always amazed at your ability to stick with your walking regime!i really admire your dedication!

well, have a good one, lovelies. have some fun. do what you love.

Morning all!

Today will be a chilly 97 here before we haed back into the triple digits. We have AC so will can't complain.

Chris- Enjoy those 80's! Hope you get your cleaning done and will look for your page in the gallery!

Laurie- Hope you get your plan accomplished for the day and have a good one.

Linda- Sounds like a busy day. Funny how that always happens with kid's summer schedules.

Phylis- Enjoy your lunch with your friend. Hope you have a wonderful time and lots of laughs!

My hubby is off this week. Lots we hope to get done around here. Best get to them this morning before the heat kicks in and I lose my energy to do anything outside.

Enjoy your July 2 everyone!
Donna

Morning everyone... Happy Monday!! Still can't believe how hot the rest or the country is while we sit in the cool here. Had to put on a sweater last night while sitting on the deck waiting for the chicken on the BBQ. WTH?? It is July right?? Anyway off to work today as our work place was closed yesterday, so lucky us we get to work today. :mmph: Practically everyone else gets a long weekend off, but not us  Oh well I get off at 3:30 and then we head out to the IL's for dinner. A quick visit with a Aunt and a couple of cousins that won't be making it to reunion this year and then home to bed. Tuesday is my day off but MG has also got the day off so that kind of spoils my time to myself. Well maybe we will catch a movie orsomething.

Chris - Sure hope that blisters stop for you today!! Can't imagine how annoying it must be to have Poison Ivy!! Hope your mojo comes back to you today, grab a template, that's what really helped me. That and your great Web Inspiration Challenge!! Thanks for that!

Laurie - WTG on the walking, MG and I got a long one in yesterday too, after walking all week myself and watching my portion sizes, working out on the universal gym, I ended up gaining 4lbs!!!! I give up! This thyroid of mine is not going to let the weight loss happen. :noidea: no idea what to do.

LindaS - Ok now I'm exhasted just listening to your schedule :faint: you amaze me!!

Donna - Hope you get all your to do list done today before the temps climb too high! Remember to take some time for yourself too!!

Phylis - Enjoy your lunch today! Always nice to spend time with a good friend! Enjoy the day!!

Well better get my butt moving and into the shower, have a wonderful Monday everyone!

Good Morning Ladies! I'm so sorry for dropping out of sight. Things just went crazy at the Gardner house.

In December my mother was hospilized and not hopeful to live. My mother-in-law too was in and out of the hospital. We lost her in May, still trying to deal with the loss. I posted all about it on my blog if you want to read it.

I'm still not scrapping, but am getting that little twinge and hackering to start something, so I may do a challenge or two to get me back in the groove.

So anyway good morning everyone and have a great day!

Frani, sorry to hear about all the sadness and worry, too! hope things are a little better and that you get back to doing some art very soon.
