Good morning and a very happy Monday to all of you!

I skimmed over the weekend thread and it sounds like everyone had a nice, even if busy, weekend.
Yesterday was nice to have the family together. Food, wine, family.
My mom loved the bookmarks I had made. And she seemd ok with the idea of keeping one of each and using the other 3. We will have to see if she does.
I was happy that my brother got her an EZPass. For those who don't have that, it is a way to pay tolls without having to stop at a toll booth. It will make things much easier for her driving down the shore. In a way, I made out twice from her gifts. My dad got her the gift certificate so we can go back down to the bed and breakfast that we stayed at last September and then my brother got her the EZPass so the trip will be so much less stressful.

I don't have to be anywhere today which will be nice. I have to clean the kitchen from the stuff left from last night but it isn't too bad. I am in so much pain that I am going to need to take some meds for it and I hate having to do that too much. But darn it, everything hurts.

I am very happy to say that the weather will be in the 20's although we might be getting a bit of snow this evening. Tomorrow, we should be over freezing which will be the first time in a couple of weeks. Maybe before Christmas?

Wishing you all the best of everything today!

Felis- I think that I might need to go ahead and do yoga today too. I have a few sessions saved on Amazon Prime that are good for back and joint pain. That is another good thing about doing yoga at home- I won't feel pressure to hold the poses as long as everyone else or go as far. I do have a mat so I don't have any excuses at all. I am going to try to keep up with you!

I would love to be able to teleport myself around the world. I honestly think that if I could choose a Superpower, that would be it. How fun to be able to visit all of you! I think the dogs would love to be out playing at your house and no- the cats wouldn't bother me at all. (I have to admit that I miss Heather/Catzilla since she doesn't come downstairs anymore. I don't miss her trying to smother me, but I miss her)
I hope that your finances get better and that the vet bills go away.

Oh, yes! I teased Scott and Leah that if they were able to get through a flat tire under those circumstances and not get angry with each other, they will be a good team. They said the only time that they had an issue was when Leah asked Scott if he wanted her scarf, and he said no, and she put it on him anyway. Sounds like something that would do too:)

Trudy- sorry, not sorry about the rain. :p I *am* sorry about the washing machine, and I hope that it doesn't leak any more than it is until you get the new one.
I haven't seen the Godless series, what is it about? Gary and I will have to put that on our Watch List.

Rae- what a relief to be able to talk to Bailey and know that she is hanging in there. The facility sounds like it is a nice place for recovery and that it has seminars for family members is a huge plus. You might not learn anything you don't already know but it shows that you are supporting Bailey and that is a big deal. How far is Bowen Island from you?
Hugs to you and Jen!!

Ok- so if you and Felsi are going to start yoga at home or at classes, I should really do that too. I have no excuse.

Were you able to get some scrapping done? Still nothing going well for me, but maybe today? I hope so!

Jean- it must feel so good to be able to help other people with their research. I hope that it will feel much warmer over the next few days for you too.

Thank you all for the b-day wishes for my mom, I will tell her about them when I talk to her later today.

Love you!!!

Good morning my dears,
I'm so excited today! At the weekend my page received so lovely comments, so I decided to make the monthly 52 challenge pages on personal subject. I hate to scrap myself, so will be interesting to see how far I'll could go.
BUT then I spended my scrap hour to search for free printable calendar (and I hate when I do that) :wait1: ! Did you knowed that some people start the week at Sunday? Yep, all calendars that I found starts with Sunday. So weird?! What happened with ''Six days you shall labor, but on the seventh day you shall rest'', how is posible to start week at the weekend?! However, I couldn't found calendar who started from Monday, and the site I was used before is closed, but found two wonderful to share at my Pinterest. And even finished my layout on time. Ughh, all right almost on time  . Then I have to work more concentrated today.

Chris, your mom's party sounds so much fun! Oh, so sweet about the Scott, Leah and the scarf! Really sorry to hear that you feels so bad physically today, but hope that this warming that you expect will make the things better! It's good that is no need to go out. Maybe you'll can try to take some break with tea and book! Or just with blankets and pets. :pupkiss:

Trudy, I bet you got wonderful time with your sisters! Best wishes to your sis for the birthday! Hmm, your arguments about the weather sounds reasonable. Then I hope some in future your children to have chance to move back to live closer to you! So great that you are got Washer and Dryer on good deal, congrats!

Rae, I browsed few youtube channels till found this girl. For me was important to be licensed Yoga Teacher (and this is little silly but also to have clear diction, so to can got it right). But for now I will not risk with legs exercise, because I'm still worried for the old problem with my knees that I had. It will be great if you can go to the yoga place (I already had some questions and my sister isn't so descriptive as I hoped) but I'm surprised that you could find time for that in your work schedule?!
Yey, for the good news about B! And I just adore your description of your weekend morning!

Jean, so nice from you to asistend your friend! And I'm sure it was interesting too! I'm curious what you decided for yours 52 project?!

Nancy, hope you can start the week with new powers!

Sharon, last told about a back pain, so I'm worried for you, girl.

Hugs to you all, and hope you have one successful and satisfied day!

Good Monday morning ladies... another rainy day here :rain: Oh well it is the reason why our trees are so large and grass so green LOL. Yesterday was very nice, visiting with my sisters and we all had the same lunch, butternut squash soup and Caesar Salad. No the soup was not Keto friendly, but I have been adding a few new things to my diet lately and still seem to be losing, so yay!! Across the street from where we had lunch there was a big clothing sale up to 80% off and it is a store that I don't normally shop at because the prices are just to high. We of course had to check it out after our lunch and we all found some really beautiful items for a great price! The shopping gods were watching over us!! I got a beautiful long sleeved top in a pretty light pink colour. It is kind of like a lounging top, so soft and comfy and I think I could actually live the rest of my life in it :becky: I might go back there today to buy the grey pants that go with it. Shhhh don't tell my DH LOL. I rarely buy anything pink, but oh I just love this new top!! I also tried on the sweetest coat, it had a flared bottom on it and fit me perfectly, but where would I ever wear it and how could I justify spending almost $200 on it  Then we walked around the downtown area and stopped into a few more shops. Sister Wendy had a great time and was so thankful as she rarely gets a chance to do any shopping for herself. It was a lovely day!

Chris - I am so happy to hear that your temps are finally going to start to warm up a bit! Sorry that you are hurting so much today, hopefully you can take something to ease the pain a bit! That is great that your Mom had such a lovely birthday, and that she liked the book marks you made for her! She got some very useful gifts and yes a bonus for you too, nice to know that you will be able to visit the B&B again and not have to deal with all the tolls! It is reassuring that Scott and Leah get along so well, even under stressful situations! They make a good pair for sure! I hope you get to spend the day peacefully and warm, take care of YOU!!

Felis- It is funny that you say it is strange that some calendars start the week on a Sunday, I can't imagine them starting any other way :becky: It is very interesting how we can be so different from other parts of the world. I hope that in the future my kids live much closer to me also, but only time will tell and I must just be happy that they are happy and doing what they like to do and living a good life. I will have to check out your 52 Inspirations page and really need to get one done for myself. I hope that you find more time to scrap and that your Yoga goes well also!

Ok I am off to the shower and then will pop back in to catch up with the rest of you ladies later on. Have a wonderful morning!

Good morning, ladies. Monday is always my busiest day with desk work but today is absolutely crazy. Both bosses are working today and one of them sent over a huge amount of backlog files to do too. So....I'll be working my butt off today and probably late into the night. So no yoga today but I knew that Mondays would not be a good day for me to do it. But tomorrow I am going to.

Chris - glad your mom liked the bookmarkers.

Felis - fitting in the yoga is not going to be easy with my busy schedule, you are right but....I have to find time for something that is important for my body. Must be disciplined!!! I will have to keep reminding myself of that over and over, I'm sure.

Trudy - yay on the good clothiing karma. I have transitioned back into carb burning rather than fat burning and have upped my carbs considerably but still stay away from wheat, starches, beans, rice and lately, cheese and dairy. I'm following more of a low carb anti-inflammatory diet plan now (thats why no cheese or cows milk dairy) but my carbs are higher than on keto b/c now I average about 70 carbs/day but its mostly from fruit/veggies. I think adding in a few things and then seeing how your body responds before adding in even more is a good way to know how it affects you. Your avi looks great!

I better get back to work. Not many breaks for me today with this workload. Hope you all have a wonderful day.

It's above freezing, but snowed a little I guess making roads treacherous so all the schools closed. We don't really understand. Sad for DH as the senior center closes when schools do so he missed the Monday Hum & Strum, especially bad as the last two Mondays were holidays and so is next week for Martin Luther King Day.

Chris, wish we had some magic to send to alleviate the pain! At least you don't have obligations today. And have good memories from your Mom's birthday. Hope you find a way to incorporate yoga into your days.

Felis, it's interesting to see your comment on the week beginning on Sunday. Like Trudy, that's the way we work. I've seen calendars that don't work that way and always have to avoid them as they confuse me. Did you notice my weekly pages all ran Sunday through Saturday? At least the USA and Canada apparently are this way. Your monthly 52 Inspirations page with the calendar came out really well. I have ideas for my weekly page, but haven't gotten there yet.

Trudy, sounds like a lovely day with the sisters. Like hearing the shopping karma was with you and resulted in such a comfy top. The rain there would be nice compared to the icy rain here.

Rae, hoping the heavy workload doesn't keep you at it too late. Everything else is sounding very upbeat. Good luck with fitting in yoga.

:hello: Rae, Jean and Nancy!
Nancy I hope that you are feeling much better today and are able to get out for a bit with Luther, if you are having anywhere near the snow that DD is having today, then I doubt you can get out of the house. Everyone at DD's is home from school and work today, they had a huge dump of snow last night, so its a snow day for most people in their area!

Rae - Ugh I hope you don't have to work into the wee hours of the morning. Today I had to run to the Dr's quickly as I am pretty sure I have a bladder infection. She commented that I looked great and thought that I was half the size of the last time she saw me. She said that my cholesterol levels were great, but then I have never had problems with high cholesterol, however it was nice to hear that I am still doing ok with it. Yes I have added a few more veg to my diet, but will stay away from the wheat etc. It just makes me bloat and upsets my stomach. I love my Keto way of eating and really don't want to change it too much. Its working for me and that is what matters. Need to maintain now though as I don't think I should lose much more weight. I suppose that one good thing about your heavy workload, is is that you don't have to go out into the wet miserable weather.

Jean - Your poor hubby will be having withdrawal from his weekly hum and strum group! That is too bad that the roads are so treacherous, guess its best to keep inside on days like that! Yes my shopping was great yesterday, now if I could only have a whole wardrobe that was as comfy as my new top LOL.

Off to the couch and watch an episode of the Crown Season 2, I just love this show and I am not feeling all that great, so it will be good to just crawl under the blanket and watch some Netflix. Have a great evening everyone!
