I just finished up dinner. I made Spaghetti & Meatballs. Not something I would usually make since I'm not a big fan of tomato sauce, but my daughter requested it after watching iCarly. Now I sorta have the house to myself...Ethan and DH are at climbing and Addie is "cleaning" her room...aka...making a bigger mess instead of cleaning. I'm guessing her cleaning will result in boxes and garbage bags tomorrow. I am soooo tired of battling her on cleaning her room. I can deal with a little disorganized mess...but she all out trashes her room. Ethan is just as bad...he plays with legos and leaves them all over the house and plays with them when he should be doing his homework, practicing piano, getting dressed and ready for school. Ugh!!! Children are enough to make you crazy...but they are kinda cute.
Oh, for those of you who didn't see on FB...my kids battled things with their face. Addie vs. the Pavement...Addie lost and ended up with a fat lip and some major scabbing under her nose. She was trying to ride her scooter down a hill and tumbled. Then Ethan vs. a stick. Apparently his friend had a stick in their hand and spun around and whacked Ethan in the face. Geesh!! Good thing they don't go to the same school or people might ask crazy questions. They are both fine though.
Last thing...our friend Dave took off for Afghanistan this weekend. Feel free to send a prayer to him. He's in a Spec Ops group so I'm sure nothing they do will be safe. He left me as his POA so I get to take care of anything that comes up. 2 HOurs before he was supposed to be at his company his car took a crap and so that is something I'll be dealing with tomorrow. Trying to get it towed to the dealership and fixed.
Happy Monday!!
Chris - I think your other dog needs a friend. Poor puppy. I know what you mean about the starving thing. When you get that hungry you just want to eat until there is no food. You should try and take a snack with you and take a break halfway through and eat something...that could curb the starvation feeling. I hope you did everything you wanted to today.
Linda - I hope you get your challenges done. I need to do some challenges too.
Donna - exercising with friends is always easier I think. All my friends are lazy like me unfortunately.
Jacqueline - I'm a super slow scrapper too. I hope you enjoyed our day.
Phylis - Your poor nose. I hope it feels better soon. I am always having nose issues from my allergies...plus lots of headaches. I'm sorry you are upset with your daughter. I hope whatever is going on gets resolved soon. Hugs!!
Fran - So glad you are hanging out with your daughter. Have a blast!!
Katherine - sometimes you just need a slow start to your day. I hope the rest of your day was great once you got moving. We're glad to see you in here.
Nana - We've had that same sun...it looks nice and warm but just a bit chilly...not snow weather thank goodness...but I have to cover my toes.
Eva - Boooo!!! on the computer. I hope it is an easy fix and not one of those ugly viruses.
Kristy - you're in good company with the rambling.
Trudy - Have a good day at work. I hope you have something fun planned for your day off.
Maureen - More HUGS!!! I'll be including you in my prayers for sure.
