GooOd morning! *channeling my Inner Sally*
A fresh start to the week!
:cheer2:

I have to make this crazy quick- I have to go to the grocery store and get everything unpacked before either Gary or I have to drive Caitlyn to school. In a Nor'Easter. On a Monday. On Tindamax.
*snorts*

It is all good, it could be snow. Right?

Here is to a great start to your day!

good morning - yes the wind is howling here in NJ and it is supposed to get even stronger. Luther was out in it and did not mind, I however would not take him where he wanted into the woods. I could just see a tree blowing over so it was not too long but my DH had him out earlier! Now though Luther is a bit restless. Not sure if it is the wind that bothers him or coming rain but he is needy. Got a lot of scrapping done yesterday. I actually went grocery shopping because I was out of DR Pepper and while I can be out of most everything else I have to have my DP. But because my DH dislikes it too he cooked dinner while I was gone and cleaned. I was so bummed when I went because every check out line was about 5 deep and the thought of waiting yuck but LOL by the time I had gone through the store there was no one in line. A win by me. Watched some of the football games but they were so one sided not much fun so I watched the hockey games which were way more fun.

Chris good luck with the shopping and driving Cait to school.

Have a great day all!

Morning ladies... Sorry to hear that the wind is blowing so very hard for you Jersey Girls!! It is frosty here this morning, but the sun is supposed to shine today, so I really hope to get out for a walk! I can finally start back with my hiking group this Wednesday!! Looking forward to the 3-4 hike just a couple of miles from my home. We are going to the Estuary near here and it is also a bird sanctuary so we should be able to see lots of our feathered friends! Taking my good camera for this one. It is heavy to pack around, but I would love to get some good pictures this time! Snow is all gone and this hike will not be in the mountains, so it should not be at all slippery. I am looking forward to getting some good exercise and having conversation with someone other than my DH or family LOL.

Chris - Good luck with your shopping, unpacking and driving in your crazy whirlwind of a day!!

Nancy - Don't blame you for not going into the woods with Luther today!! Yikes that would be crazy if a tree came down ! Glad that you enjoyed your hockey games and hope the officiating was better than the Montreal Game you watched!! Yes football was not too exciting, but my Son In Law will be happy as his Falcons are on their way to the Super Bowl! I am loving your hockey pages!! You have been very busy with your scrapping! Love it! Hope you wind dies down soon!

I am hoping to also get a few more pages done today too! Then fitting in a walk sometime today. Hope you all have a fabulous Monday!

Good morning, ladies. I have spent an hour this morning working on ACDSee and am stumped. Can't figure out categories and am going to post a screen shot for Chris to see if it makes sense to her as she's the only one I know who works with ACDSee.

Was gone all day yesterday, visiting family. Darrell got to spend some quiet time chatting with his daughter while Ella (our youngest GD) and I hung out for a few hours chatting and taking photos. She's such a character. She was climbing up the doorframe like a monkey and when I asked her mom if it was allowed she rolled her eyes and said she climbs everything. Then we headed out to drive another 40 minutes further and visited my oldest daughter and her family. The grandkids are teens and didn't want their photo taken so I only got to snap a few quick ones. They have a new kitty, the cutest little thing, called Beans, who was fascinated with the camera. I got some adorable shots of Beans. So, we had a great day visiting with family but were tired by the time we got home. We grabbed take-out on the way back and after eating we just relaxed for a few hours in front of the TV before going to bed.

Today I'll get Taz out to the dog park for a bit, get some groceries and do some desk work. I've got a sinus infection (I get them all the time) so need to get to the drugstore for more Advil today. I think I'll pop in and get the info about upgrading my iPhone too.

Trudy - sounds like clear skies this week so your hike should be fun.

Chris - I always love your positive attitude! You always seem like a "glass half full" kind of person. Look below, I am attaching a screen shot of my ACDSee to see if it makes sense to you. I would appreciate it if you could look at it if you get a chance. Thx.

Nancy - Luther might be affected a bit by the wind. I know Taz is. He has supersonic hearing and when the wind starts slapping branches around and things start rattling outside he is constantly distracted and looking/listening for it.

I'm going to get going as I've wasted the first part of my morning trying to figure out ACDSee, so need to get other stuff done now. Have a great day, everyone.

Chris - I can create categories/sub-categories and can highlight and tag in the categories but after that I cannot click on any categories b/c it will add or delete the categories but it won't let me click on a category to open it up and see the items. Does that make sense? I can create but not select to view any of them after I've created them.

The only thing I seem to be able to do is create keywords but cannot for the life of me get categories to work. Any suggestions?

Hi again! I have a few minutes here before I have to fight with bills/banking issues. Gary ended up bringing Cait down to school and hopefully, she will be able to get a ride home. If not, I will have to run down together. Scott kinda/sorta offered to stay the extra 90 minutes after his last class but he has a night class tonight and has to be back down around 6 pm. I know that he would do it if we asked but I think we will get it covered.

Shop Rite was ok, housework and bills are waiting and I need a nap! :D

From Sunday:

Trudy- Stranger Things was really cool! What did you think of the ending to The OA? Did you get why I said that I liked the series a lot but the end made me go hmmm?
You will like ST a lot, it is addictive.
Good deal on the Toaster oven, isn't it great when you actually save money? Sounds like it is going to get a lot of use!

Nancy- how fun to watch the Devils at dinner esp with a lot of people cheering along with you. Did you watch any of the football games yesterday? We didn't, although I know that Gary will want to watch the Super Bowl. I won't, the more I hear about the way they covered up the TBI's as well as the domestic abuse, I can't stomach them.
hahaha! Luther, you are a trip- didn't want to get your bath, eh? :pupkiss:

Today:

nancy- so far up here we have some wind, but nothing too bad. maybe it will miss us. That would be nice.
Glad that you did ok at the store and I see you got to watch some of the games too. You are so lucky that your DH cooks. Now Gary is on this kick where he doesn't want to eat any carbs/gluten etc. Well, that is all well and good if you can afford it. And he thinks *I* should eat that way too. I told him that if he wants to cook for himself if he doesn't want to eat what I am making, he can cook for himself like Cait does when we have meat.

Trudy- :pound: what, are you feeling a bit cooped up? bet you are counting the minutes for your hike, I know I would be. Hope that you get your scrapping and your walk in too!

Rae- we cross posted, that is a first!
I have to get some stuff done around the house but I will look at your screenshot and get back to you.
But really quick- are those the only Categories you have? I have been using ACDSee since - sheesh too many years/versions to count, and I have always imported my DB so it keeps my Categories. And I have a lot
You are trying to remove files from those categories? Oh wait, I think that if you are trying to find files in the category you need to go to Catalog. Go to View, then make sure that Catalog is Checked in the drop down. Then you can use the Cat. pane to find tagged items form there.

Today is in the 60's and sunshine but windy. We have been in the 70's and near 80 for the last two weeks. Crazy winter. As long as it is mild for Mardi Gras I will be fine!

DD was an extra on the set of NCIS New Orleans!!! So cool. She got to see 2 of the cast close up!

Going to post pages to pinterest today
